We had a great stay at Lisa's place. Our family spent a lot of time on the water exploring the lake in the available canoe and kayaks and really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub in the evenings. The outdoor space is setup perfectly for living outside on those sunny days and inside the cabin is cozy and has all the amenities you need if the weather isn't great.

The perfect getaway for a couple or small group of friends! Everything was very well updated and the hot tub and sauna was very relaxing. They provided a timely response when needed and were very easy to book with. Highly recommend!

My husband and I spent a few nights here and it was fantastic. Brad and Erin were friendly and very responsive! The cottage was everything we were looking for. Quant, private, hot tub, on the lake, pet friendly. What more could you ask for? Highly, highly recommend!

We loved our mini getaway! We had everything we needed and more! Sleeping was a dream. Comfy bed (and cozy couch!) Chilled by the fire…. Wandered the road…. Peaceful vibes. This cabin was perfect for our girls getaway! IT was as beautiful as the pictures on the site! It was very clean and had everything we needed! Andrea was a super host! The few times we reached out to her for information, she answered very quickly! We’ll be back next year!!!

I was here with my girlfriends for the weekend. I was very excited about this place because of the sauna and Nordic pools available. Alina was very proactive and reaching out to help us make the weekend as comfortable and interesting as possible. She has some really great suggestions for what to do in the area and how to make the best use of your time. The house itself was extremely clean and very well maintained and the provided shampoo conditioner and body wash smelled so good! otherwise it was very well thought out and designed. And I appreciate how homie it felt. Thank you for such a lovely stay. I will remember this place for the future if I ever wanted to come back to Muskoka again :)

The A Frame stands out as one of the best airbnb experiences I've had (I've stayed at over 50 listings in 10+ countries). The building itself was gorgeous -- the morning light coming through the huge windows was truly jaw-dropping. It's more beautiful than the photos could capture. It was so nice to have a private dock to the water with a kayak, canoe, and paddleboard included!! We grilled outside, made a fire at dusk, played music on the record player, went for hike at Recollet falls as suggested, and slept soundly in the very comfortable beds. The other reviews are true -- you won't want to leave the house all weekend. Heather was even so kind as to leave a bottle of wine and a birthday cake for us. Above and beyond! I'll be recommending this airbnb to all of my friends and family.

very nice place to getaway and relax! Just what we needed to relax and enjoy with the family! the lake is beautiful, we really enjoyed the canoeing and kayaks. even the big yard and the view are awesome. only one thing, the sofa bed was not very comfy to sleep. but, everything else was perfect to enjoy. thanks Ash/Nic for being a good host and friendly ppl.

My friends and I found this cottage when looking for a place to stay for an ATV getaway, cottage was very close to the trails! Host was amazing to deal with and the whole process was easy! Felt very comfortable and will be looking at returning!

I can't thank Tiffany and Pat enough for being amazing hosts and helping me through a difficult time. I stayed there on two separate occasions. The location of the house is right on the lake and sitting and watching the sun rise was beautiful. Narrows Convience Store is down the street and so is Mikisew Provinvial Park. The house has all the amenities (more than any other Airbnb I have stayed at). I would rats it more than 5 stars if I could. Thanks again so much!

We had a great weekend at the Humble Ranch. A nice comfortable cabin on a beautiful property. The private trail system was a nice added touch for a peaceful walk in the morning. We’ll definitely be back in the fall.

This place is awesome for a break from the hustle and bustle! Close to town but when you’re there it feels like you’ve stepped back in time. Chad was responsive and very helpful when we had a technical issue that became easy to resolve. I’d recommend to anyone on the fence, this is it!

Would absolutely return! Cottage was ready when we arrived and looked exactly like the pics. Everything we needed was provided and it was spotless! The view was amazing…steps to a private dock. We were there to unwind and escape reality which is exactly what we did.

We stayed for 4 nights at this cottage in late September, just as the autumn leaves were setting in. It was rainy at night but we enjoyed cozy nights watching The Hobbit or playing board games by the roaring fireplace. During the days, we did multiple hikes around Hardy Lake, went to Bala (a very quaint town-we made jokes about being in a cheesy Hallmark movie), toured the cranberry bogs and trails with hot wine drinks and just enjoyed time at the cottage. There is something for everyone whether you’re a cook, book-lover or outdoors enthusiast. We brought our two dogs who loved hiking the trails, watching chipmunks, swimming near the shore , and lounging on the dock. They even got into the canoe. There was a friendly senior dog who wandered down to say hi a couple times. The highlight of it all- we got engaged there! :) :) :) Sarah and Chris, you must be so proud of this enchanting cottage where so many special life moments were created.

this off grid cottage has so much to offer. with paul available 24/7 he made sure our stay is comfy and pleasurable. we visited in easter, but the lake was frozen. i had to shorten my stay. Definitely recommended.

We had an amazing comfortable stay at the cottage in the woods. It is very peaceful, quiet, and has beautiful nature around. Felt cozy and welcoming, like home. What's more, it is very close to Dark Sky Preserve, so great choice for stargazing right there, in the backyard.

We stayed for two nights with my husband and our dog, and we loved it! The place was cozy yet modern, with all the essentials—heating, cooling, and wifi. The bathroom was a definite highlight for us. Everything was just as described, and the little jar of honey was such a sweet touch. We also appreciated the bug helmets and Thermacell—super handy! The location was great, and having easy access to the Oxtongue River and dock was super convenient. Kayaks and canoes were also included in the booking. The views were beautiful, and the outdoor space was both peaceful and functional. Check-in was smooth, and the host had great communication and was very responsive. The cabin’s modern design really stood out. Thanks so much for having us—we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Fabulous cottage! Amazing view of the lake from both inside and out on the dock. We enjoyed cooking on the bbq grill in the evenings. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. Matthew was super responsive to any questions I had. Also close to Algonquin so was nice to spend a day there. Can’t wait to stay here again. Thank you for being wonderful hosts :)

The Happy Place was a beautiful, quaint cabin with all the essentials for a peaceful nature getaway. Katie and Dave were thoughtful and proactive in providing check-in information and recommendations for things to do in the area. The cabin had tons of charming details, was extremely well kept and offered a lot of privacy. Weather and prior engagements kept us from enjoying the outdoor amenities (sauna, fire pit, kayaks) but we did enjoy throwing on a movie from their great collection. We would certainly come again to this picturesque cabin.

A great weekend with my cousin and her 2 year old child and 2 dogs. Made much use of the kayaks and sunbathing on the pontoon, as well as the fire pit and covered deck in the evening.

Our stay at this Muskoka cabin was perfect for unwinding. Eliza and Safiqa were both amazing hosts. The 50s vintage decor and cedar furniture created a cozy atmosphere, and the serene lake views were breathtaking. We enjoyed the pedal boat, and the outdoor BBQ space for meals with a gorgeous lake view. There were also lots of activities to do only 15-20min from the cabin which was an added bonus. Our stay had been a fantastic retreat to disconnect and recharge. Highly recommended!

We had such a peaceful time disconnecting in nature — it was a great little getaway. The cabin was cozy, clean, and felt private, with a comfy bed. What really made the experience special was the connection session with the horses — it was a perfect intro to connecting with horses for us. Wendi was lovely and we’ll be back!
