Holiday rentals with a sauna in Thomatal

Our stay at Katharina’s place was nothing short of wonderful. We were looking for a peaceful get away and not only found it, but enjoyed the beautiful setting and comfortable stay. Katharina and her family were warm and welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home. We cannot wait to come back again!

The apartment has everything you need, is super clean and you feel right at home. Sauna was top notch and everything looked exactly like the pictures. Unfortunately, there were almost no restaurants in the village itself at the time that were open and you always had to drive something. All in all but still totally beautiful there.

We had an amazing stay! The place was spacious, filled with natural light, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The sauna was a bonus that made our stay even more relaxing.

It was a super nice welcome, we were very warmly welcomed and our questions were answered in detail. The accommodation is very well equipped and sparkling clean. The warm pool and sauna rounded off the good impression. We were able to spend four very nice days here and would be happy to come back.

We found the accommodation to be a perfect size with a beautiful view and well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything we needed, we would absolutely stay again.

Great accommodation with a beautiful view of the countryside. Uncomplicated hosts, with whom the check in and out worked without any problems. The accommodation is highly recommended if you want to spend your vacation close to nature and in a quiet environment.

Wilfred met us when checking in. He was very helpful. Helped with a lot of suggestions. We even managed a trip down to Slovenia and Italy, with Wilfred's tips. Beautiful apartment for family of 5. A lot of space, nice deck outside. Close to the village with baker, supermarkets and restaurants.

Brilliant apartment, this is the second time we have stayed here and it’s perfect for our needs

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Ski bus in front of the door, you can also use the facilities of the hotel. Quiet atmosphere and the apartment has all the comforts. Excellent accommodation with great beds, not a moment regretted our booking!

Jasmin’s place was cosy and well-suited for our stay. The living room and kitchen were spacious, with plenty of cutlery and dishes provided. The location was peaceful, which added to the relaxing atmosphere, and free parking nearby was very convenient. Jasmin was helpful and easy to reach throughout our stay. Her instructions were clear and informative, which made everything run smoothly. Final cleaning was handled by the host, and check-out was simple—just required washing the dishes and taking out the trash. Overall, it was a very nice experience, and we’d be happy to come back.

We booked the place for several nights and were very satisfied. The place was clean and modernly furnished. There was everything we needed in terms of amenities. We also liked the wellness area and the layout in the 2-hour slots worked smoothly. The location is simply fantastic - you can be in the hiking area within a few minutes. Those who want to travel here for this reason, among other things, are in the right place. A supermarket and a few restaurants are also within walking distance. In the quiet location of the accommodation, we and our dog felt very comfortable. If we plan to travel to Slovenia again, we would definitely come back. The only drawback: Due to the open shower in the bathroom, you put half the bathroom under water when showering. This might be a little better resolved. Otherwise, everything was great! It was a lovely modern apartment with everything you need and want. Very comfortable for my family if 4.

Fabulous apartment, very homely and very well equipped with comfortable beds and plenty of space. We loved the sauna for easing aching muscles at the end of the day! Easy walk to directly access the ski run and a short walk to restaurants/ amenities.

A comfortable, peaceful and spacious 1 bed flat with lounge-dining room and separate kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Awesome views of the mountains. Very convenient for Dachstein West ski area as the ski bus comes to the hotel building which the apartment is in. We loved being able to relax in the hotel saunas too. Gosau is pretty easy to get to by public transport. The journey from Salzburg airport was straightforward and daytrips to nearby beautiful Hallstatt and historic Bad Ischl were worthwhile. Would love to stay in this flat again!

We spent a very nice and relaxing week in the Alpetalhütte. The host family welcomed us warmly. The location is perfect to discover the Berchtesgaden area, also on foot. Particularly soothing: the view from the sauna into the forest. Everything just wonderful.

The chalet is simply magnificent. We had such a lovely time there. Fantastic view, super nice owners, everything is super clean and beautifully designed. I can only recommend it.

Great place with insanely good amenities

We had a very nice vacation. Close to skiing, perfect view and a benefit of sauna...

Lovely, quiet chalet in a tranquil environment, set among beautiful countryside with views to match. Lots of different walks and hikes nearby and local villages within 15 mins drive, should you require them. They also provide breakfast and a home cooked meal service for the times you don't want to prepare anything. The chalet has a very nice sauna and huge ensuite bathrooms in the main bedrooms. Katharina and Andreas are the nicest, most helpful hosts you'll ever meet! I feel so relaxed after the stay. Would definitely stay again and I imagine this would be brilliant in the winter, too!

Great accommodation, quiet location. I'd love to come back.

The accommodation is really fantastically beautiful, especially the view of the mountains and forests was simply magical through the huge window front in the living area. The bathroom cabins integrated in the rooms were also super practical for eight people, so that everyone had their own shower, a sink and a toilet. We were also very pleased that dogs are allowed - so we could take our four-legged friends with us without any problems. Beautiful hikes into nature start directly from the front door, so you hardly need the car except for shopping. And if the weather doesn't cooperate, you can simply stay indoors: the cozy atmosphere, the sauna, and the whirlpool (without bubbles) ensure perfect relaxation after a long day outside. Overall a completely successful stay – we would come back any time!

Beautiful quiet place. Heidi-Alm ski slopes are about 2 minutes by car. An ideal resort for small children. The chalet is fully equipped, everything was set up, we didn't miss anything. We loved our vacation and would love to come back for a summer vacation. Christine is a great host. We can only recommend to everyone and thank Christine very much for the beautiful winter break.
