It was one of the best home stay till now. People and staff are very friendly and helpful. They helped me in preparing food for my kid 3 times 2 times a day. it means a lot. The best part is their food. Delicious and quality breakfast, very nice tea. Dinner was mind blowing, it was yummy and quantity was very good. Anyone visiting Munnar can stay there for a week...!! it's worth...

Felt like home. Beautiful neighborhood.

First of all the location of the property was dreamy with views of peaks around which is very nostalgic. The fragrance of the mud inside the house itself takes you a forgotten time line of glorious sustainable past. The manager Ms Ambili was courteous and professional and had so much to share about the property and locality. Food here is commendably delicious. Overall amazing concept stay with warm welcoming staffs and exceptional ambiance. Would definitely recommend anytime!

Suggestion a long mirror in the room

We spent one night there, and it was truly a memorable experience. The food was simple yet authentic, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby attractions. What truly made the stay special were the hosts—Abin and his parents—who were incredibly kind and welcoming. We had a fantastic time!

We really enjoyed our stay here and eventually stayed six nights. From your window you only see tea plantations (even though the place is not completely in nature as pictures make you think). The place is cheap, quiet and simple. Expect basic comfort. The host is super caring and we had super interesting talks with him, food is simple and tasty. The place was hard to leave: we started to feel like home :)

Fantastic stay! The cottage is located on a very quiet property, with a separate cottage where you can eat the tastiest home made dishes from the extremely sweet caretakers. The room is clean, large and cool. Perfect to unwind for a few days.

We (4 adults and a child) had an amazing time at Ambat Farmstay. We booked Naren’s place as it is an operational farm (cows, chicken, dogs). But more importantly our residence just blew our minds. Interiors are tastefully done and clean. Grounds around the house are well maintained. There is a pond and a river nearby which you can walk down to. We also asked for food to be arranged. And again extremely tasty meals. North or South Indian. Loved the pancakes. Finally, we were under the impression that there is not much to do nearby. But Naren told us that there are a few waterfalls, dams, treks nearby that we could do. Given our short duration we opted for Meenuvallam waterfalls. Beautiful!!!! All in all an awesome experience. Thank you Naren for having us.

Peaceful, clean and very kind homestay. Healthy meals. Beautiful views. Kids friendly. Very knowledgable hosts. Daily yoga sessions before breakfast for our children. Nice tips for excursions around the area. Authentic experience, much better than what a resort can offer (however, day trips to the nearby resorts can also be arranged). Nothing we missed!

This place is a very good weekend getaway for a nature lover which is away from noise and pollution. Surrounded by lush greenery and close to Thattekad bird sanctuary, it is a haven for birds and our kids enjoyed watching them and listening to their sound . The natural pool is a refreshing escape and is free of chemicals. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, providing a homely atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, always willing to assist with anything you may need. Overall, Joseph Sir has created a space which is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a tranquil vacation in a serene environment.

This place is for family and individuals who like to get away to a peaceful and calm environment. The host is very friendly and very considerate. The place has a very beautiful pool just bordering tea estate and tall trees. it was a wonderful retreat, we stayed in the property for two nights playing and thoroughly enjoyed it. Aanachal town is 3km away, and the host will help in arranging rickshaws if required. If you are a person who likes to relax in the pool, sit back and enjoy the beautiful sounds of nature from the balcony while reading, then it's a perfect place. Also, it is recommended for family stays. If you have a bigger crowd and can book both the villa, then you can get the maximum out of this property.

We had an amazing stay with Ratheesh and his family! The place is surrounded by a variety of plants and many different spices that Ratheesh grows around the house 🌸 it was so interesting and valuable to learn how all those spices grow and even more so to take many of them back home! We also loved the private little pool in the waterfall, it’s perfect for a early morning dip 🌴 Thank you Ratheesh and Nidu for being great hosts, for feeding us the best home cooked meals and for all your recommendations and help. We had the best time 🌻

I had the pleasure of visiting Nutmeg Valley farm nestled in blissful mountains of Kerala, and I cannot emphasize enough how extraordinary my experience was. From the moment I stepped foot onto the property until the moment I left, I was enthralled by the warm hospitality, captivating atmosphere, and the countless delightful activities available. This farm visit truly exceeded all expectations, and I would confidently rate it five stars in every aspect.

Judit is a wonderful host. She is attentive, thoughtful, and has great suggestions for things to do around the area. Her and her family are incredibly warm and welcoming as they provide an authentic, unique adventures. We went for long walks around Kothamangalam/Nadukani, where you are immersed in a lush, tropical countryside. It's a good way to ease yourself into visiting India if you haven't been before, where cities can be a bit overwhelming. Judit also provides tours on request and we enjoyed learning about local history and agriculture. Food was absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh, homemade, and you are treated to a variety of local cuisines. The home itself is clean, comfortable, and spacious. We had the drawing room all to ourselves for a large chunk of the time spent there. Overall, highly recommended.
