Waterfront holiday rentals in Timmendorfer Strand-Niendorf

The dishes were probably renewed. There is a pan that is OK and pots. The rest is a bit worn. Glasses and cups partly from McDonald's... Not pretty but they do the job. In some places, the blanket and pillows are already very yellowed. A renewal would be desirable here. The equipment is generally very outdated. (from the 90s) TV worked fortunately on the 2nd day after reset (previously not operable). The rules for the dog were only given on site. For example, the dog must not be left alone in the accommodation, it would have been good to have this information beforehand. We traveled for a funeral at sea and then had to organize care for the dog, as she would have been alone for 3 hours without any problems. We might have booked somewhere else, as the costs would have balanced out again. Washing machine and dryer were indicated but not available in the accommodation. It would have been good to know that beforehand.

We were very satisfied with everything, very good communication with the host, we will definitely come back.

We stayed with Sven for a week and felt absolutely comfortable. Communication with Sven was excellent. The location with the lake is fantastic. By bike, you can reach the Baltic Sea in a few minutes. We can only recommend the apartment.

The apartment is very tasteful and equipped with all the necessary items. The view over the harbor is fantastic. Restaurants and a small shopping facility are within walking distance! Sabine was a great host in every way and we hope to come back again!!!

We enjoyed our stay with Sonja and Christoph very much. The apartment was super clean and well equipped. Especially the bed was very comfortable. An Edeka is directly up the street and is even open on Sundays and public holidays, so you can easily cater for yourself in the cozy kitchen. Finding a parking space was never a problem either. We will keep our stay in good memory!

We felt very comfortable. The apartment is very nice, close to the beach, but still very quiet. Everything you need was available and the balcony invites you to a nightcap in the evening. A very relaxing week for us 2 in Haffkrug. Andreas responds promptly and the check in was very easy with the Nuki app. We will be happy to come back sometime...

The accommodation has a very nice and quickly heating sauna, which can be used spontaneously and without long planning. In addition, there is a large quiet garden - perfect for reading and resting or for making a campfire. The proximity to Lübeck and Schwerin is great to take a day trip. :) The only drawback is that it gets quite bright in the sleeping area, especially because there is a skylight in the east direction. A way to darken would be desirable here. Otherwise, it should also be mentioned that the surroundings with the lakes are really beautiful and you can also watch (wild)animals there very well. Hosts Scarlett and Robert are also happy to lend you binoculars and give you tips.😊

Unforgettable time in this beautiful house! Not a day went by when we were not fascinated by the house, garden and nature. Felt immediately at home and welcome. Information and excursion tips summarized in a book were super helpful. The garden is a dream for children (and adults!) - large with a trampoline, swings, sandpit and fireplace. Personal greeting card and fresh flowers in the house pleased us. House fully equipped, on request with bed linen and towels. Surroundings offer many activities: Karl-May-Festspiele, kayaking and bike tours, hiking and relaxing at lakes. We often used binoculars to observe animals. We highly recommend this accommodation and would be happy to come back!"

We felt very comfortable in the small cottage by the lake! The surroundings are a true paradise! We are there - surrounded by the wonderful old trees, the view of the lake and the many birdsong - immersed in nature and have recovered, as we have not done for a long time. We spent a week in the vacation home with a total of 6 adults and two children and felt very comfortable. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The vacation home was very clean and the host was extremely accommodating.

We were quite enthusiastic about our chalet. Surrounded by the green oasis and the lake, the stay was all the more beautiful! Can only recommend it!

There were three of us (3 adults and a small dog) 3 nights in Gabi's vacation home. We liked the cottage very much, everything well maintained, good amenities and a very nice garden. Only the duvets we personally found very thick and sweated a little in them - those who prefer to sleep cool should possibly bring something thinner ;-) Especially good is the proximity to the very beautiful nature and dog beach! We visited the vacation home with 6 adults and 2 children and felt completely comfortable. The house is well equipped for this number of people – especially the kitchen offers everything you need to cook and eat together. There is only one bathroom, which requires some planning for a larger group. But since this is known in advance, you can easily adapt to it - for us it was not a problem. The location is wonderfully quiet and invites you to relax. Communication with Peter was absolutely straightforward, fast and very friendly - it couldn't be better. Overall, a highly recommended vacation home

We used Susan’s place as a base to visit family and friends in the area. It was a beautiful and relaxing spot to be based from. Our pre-schoolers loved the surroundings and animals. Highly recommend!

Fantastic apartment with great views.

We felt very comfortable. The apartment was very well equipped (hairdryer, laundry rack for the balcony, many spices and kitchen utensils already available). The apartment was very clean and has a quiet location. Nice reception with welcome drinks (bottle of wine and water), as well as a personal message.

Our stay at Martina's in Sierksdorf was very nice. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the weather, but no one can do that. The apartment was great for us (3 people), for 4 people it would have been a bit cramped. The house looks a little outdated from the outside and the hallway was unfortunately a bit musty, but the apartment was in great condition! The kitchen was very well equipped, the bathroom had been cleaned perfectly and in general everything was clean and nicely furnished. In addition, there was probably a TV in the living room - which pleased us - although it was explicitly not listed as an amenity. The communication with Martina was easy, she answered all the questions from us. The parking situation of the listing was somewhat incomprehensible and we did not find the key box directly, but Martina was very easy to reach by phone and was always available for questions. All in all a nice stay!

I was in Kiel for 5 weeks for work and I loved the accommodation! Thanks to the great weather, I was able to enjoy the sunset from the balcony every evening. The apartment is very nice and above all practically furnished. The beach is right outside the door and shopping was a breeze within a few minutes by car. Thanks to the private parking space, parking was always possible without any problems. The hosts were super friendly and always immediately available. If I have to go to Kiel again, I would definitely choose this accommodation again!

We stayed with Ivonne for the second time after 2022 and felt at home again. The apartment is beautifully located on the harbor entrance of Fehmarn, in the morning at breakfast and in the evening at sunset from the balcony watching all kinds of boats and ships at entrance and exit, plus the kites and windsurfers (depending on the time of day and wind). It is just beautiful! We will be happy to come back <3

Helmut is a real host! Although (unfortunately) we did not meet him in person, but his descriptions of how check-in works were detailed, very detailed, accurate and easy to understand. He made us feel very well taken care of. He was very concerned that we are well. He promptly answered questions to our complete satisfaction. We would like to use his hospitality again.
