Ein ehemaliges Gasthaus in exponierter Lage mit bester Aussicht am Fuße des Belchens. Bestens geeignet für Yogagruppen, Mountainbiker, Wanderer und Biker, die gerne am Wochenende die Bergstraße nutzen. NICHT verfügbar für Partys. Bei guten Wintersportverhältnissen kann man direkt vom Haus zum Lift fahren und auch wieder von der Piste zum Haus. Der Ort Wieden selber ist fussläufig erreichbar, das Gasthaus Sonnenhang ( ca. 5-8min), hat geöffnet und eine sehr gute Küche. Haustiere nicht erlaubt.

Our apartment (about 50 square meters) is located on the edge of the small village of Geschwend, in the Todtnau holiday region. Geschwend has about 450 inhabitants. The place is good for 2-4 people. Couples, solo travelers, business travelers and families (with children). Bergoase is a fantastic spot in a superb location! The cottage is close to the Todtnau waterfall and the spectacular suspension bridge, and offers stunning views of the area. The cottage itself has all the comforts and immediately feels like a home. Communication with the host goes smoothly and they are very helpful. In terms of location, it is perfect for exploring the region. Freiburg can be reached within half an hour, the Fahler waterfall is only a 15 minute drive, and the Feldberg – the highest mountain of the Black Forest – is also only 30 minutes away. In addition, there is a supermarket a 7-minute drive away, which is very convenient. In short, an ideal starting point for visiting the Black Forest. We will definitely be back.

We had great days and beautiful hikes in the apartment. It is definitely a recommendation because it is a very nice environment and it went smoothly and quickly with spontaneous booking. There were two of us there and the apartment would have been sufficient for several people.

We were also very warmly welcomed by Christopher personally at a late hour with sweet treats and drinks. He even helped unload. The apartment is as in the photos very appealing and well equipped. The bathroom is not the most modern, but is well preserved and clean (small tip: while someone is showering, it is best not to take water elsewhere because otherwise the shower water can get very hot). The sleeping arrangements are very comfortable and the living area very comfortable. Even games such as UNO, Kniffel, Scotland Yard, etc. were available. The kitchen was very spacious and everything was available (spices, salt & pepper, sugar, coffee pods, paper towels, dish soap, sponge, cookware and of course pots, plates, pans, glasses). Christopher responded immediately to requests and was always helpful. We felt very welcome and can recommend this apartment without restrictions.

Accommodation as described, tidy, clean and cozy. Very well-stocked kitchen. Very friendly hosts and available for every request. Great location: waterfalls and suspension bridge within walking distance. Strength of the garden. I would definitely go back!
