Beautiful, charming, quiet retreat

Beautiful garden walkway leads you to a newly renovated guest house, with spectacular views from all windows. Wood floors, travertine kitchen counters, full kitchen / frig. and viking stove. Bathroom with Italian glass tile bath/shower and antique vanity with carrera marble. All cotton linens with down pillows and duvet. Antiques through out, with a large walk in closet. The is a queen size Murphy bed in the living room, in addition to the queen size bed in the bedroom. We are located in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains, with magnificent hiking trails within walking distance. Some say that our little get away is located in the best kept secret in LA. It's private, quiet and tranquil yet only 15 minutes from Pacific Coast Hwy in Malibu and 10 minutes from the 101 freeway.

Oak Forest Retreat

(Feb 2025- The Topanga village and homes were spared from the Palisades fire.) Topanga is a quiet village in the Santa Monica Mountains. Its name means “Where the mountains meet the sea”. We are in an ancient oak forest in beautiful nature just walking distance to Topanga State Park and its hiking trails. It’s only 10 min to the beach/Malibu and 20 min to Santa Monica/Venice or Woodland Hills. The town center with restaurants, grocery stores, gift shops and our library are close.
