Really lovely place to stay in totnes, easily walkable to the town (which is a fab place with vintage shopping/restaurants/pubs/market/castle) and easily accessible by car with parking. Small space but tastefully decorated and perfect for 2 of us. Excellent hosts went above and beyond including freshly baked pastries for breakfast and even posting on an item that we left behind! Would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful reception on arrival. Great location only 15 min walk down to sea front. Great activities for our 8 yr old twin boys. But the icing on the cake is the huge swim spa which we all enjoyed after our walks. Lovely and relaxing just what you need. Host was very helpful and responded to all our questions promptly. Would recommend highly to any family with kids or two couples looking for a relaxing break away.

Gorgeous place with everything you'd want to have a cute little weekend away!! hot tub was set up so all we had to do was pull back the cover and hop right in. Kitchen had everything needed to cook whatever meals you fancy. Just a 2 minute walk away from the local and less than a 10 minute drive out to the moors.. perfect!!

Perfect Airbnb. Ruth was quick and helpful with communications and her place is clean, modern, comfortable with everything I needed. Great location, very private and a short walk to the shops and to the seafront, with the convenience of free off-street parking right outside. Thank you Ruth!

Theresa and Simon are very friendly, accommodating and make you feel at home. They know the area well and are happy to share their knowledge. Great people. The Garden Studio is neat and comfortable, the garden is peaceful and and there are many places to relax. You will never regret coming here. 😊

We've thorougly enjoyed our stay! Hilary ans Graham are the perfect hosts and know how to make their guests feel Welcome and at home. The flat was spacious and clean, the kitchen exceptionally well equipped (we've stayed at a lot of Airbnbs during the past couple of years and the kitchen at Hilary's really stood out, which made cooking for our family of four easy and fun!). Cereals, fruit,bread, milk,..were there on our arrival and were very much appreciated. The girls loved the little garden and playing outside. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Hilary took the girls to the stables to visit the horse- they were absolutely delighted!! Hilary and Graham are very friendly and sociable without being intrusive. We'd love to stay at their place again!

Loved our stay here, it is in such a nice location! Nice quiet area but close enough to the nearby towns. The host was so responsive and left us milk, scones and a mini Prosecco which was lovely, would book again!

Richard and Mo were great hosts and provided us with all the information required to meet our expectations. Richard met us on arrival and it was lovely to have the basics for breakfast provided for each morning, which was an added surprise and very welcomed. This facility was perfect for my wife as she has mobility issues, and the Airbnb is all on one level with walk-in shower, so made moving around was made so much easier. We would highly recommend staying here, and will look to rebook for our next visit to Devon.

I stayed for three nights in this accommodation, it was perfectly located for me because it was near to family. It was also not too far away from town or too far away from the Moor and all of the outdoor activities. The place ticked all the boxes for me, clean, quiet and in great condition. Pip was a great communicator and couldn’t be more helpful. It’s my second time staying and next time I’m in the area I’ll be happy to stay again.

I spent 2 nights in this very comfortable studio apartment with a lovely outlook over the garden, and private parking. Chudleigh is a friendly village and its main street with choice of food outlets and other facilities is a few minutes walk from The Nook. It's also a good base from which to access Matford Park and Ride to Exeter or go into Dartmoor National Park.

A really lovely clean lodge. Stephen was very quick at responding to messages. We had a great time and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. A bit of info that might be useful to others: we bought a 7 short stay pass from pool reception in order to use the pools and gym (£30 adults and £15 kids). There wasn’t a hair dryer so you might want to pack one!

Had a great couple of days. Nice 10 minute walk down the hill into town so able to leave my car. I liked the flexible check in and the lovely view over the valley. Everything matched the description and it provided a nice place to come back to after a day in Totnes.

We had a lovely stay in Broadsands. The annex was lovely, well organised and very clean. It was so quiet and an ideal location for exploring while on holiday. 5min walk to the beach and a short drive away from Paignton, Torquay and Brixham. Various supermarkets, shops and restaurants only a short drive away. It had a very relaxed feel. The garden area attached to the annex will be beautiful to enjoy during the summer. Would highly recommended and we will certainly be back. Julie was very welcoming and friendly during our stay so thank you 😊

Claudine's home was the perfect cosy location for an Easter weekend walking break, we'll definitely return. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the coastline is absolutely stunning. Kingsbridge is nearby where we enjoyed a movie at Kings cinema. We passed the Cricket Inn at Beesands on our walk and returned that evening to enjoy a great dinner. Thank you Claudine for a great weekend.

I stayed at the property with mum and we both agreed it was like a home-from-home. Very comfortable and well equipped. Had everything we needed. Justin gave us great instructions and responded quickly when we sent a message.

Very friendly and helpful host, spotlessly clean, the room had all that we needed and more. A lovely touch to provide croissants, cereals, juice, tea, coffee and milk etc. Lovely outside area with sea views. Great location for exploring Devon. Really hoping to visit again.

Jacqui and Geoff were very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was light and very spacious. A lovely gift of bread, milk, cereal, butter and marmalade was waiting for us. Jacqui even offered to pick up some gluten-free items for me. The location was ideal, with just a 10min walk to the city centre and cathedral one way and about a 10min walk to the quayside the other way. Off street parking was a great addition, but quite steep! Would recommend this accommodation as a great base to walk around the city and has easy access to main roads for exploring further afield.

Quiet well equipped location with easy access to town

I was travelling with my brother, and we had a great 2-night stay at Peter's, so I'd recommend his place with a clear conscience. We stayed in room number 4 ('Master') on the second floor next to the shared kitchen. We wanted to check out the local cuisine, so we mostly dined out throughout our stay; hence, we didn't use the kitchen, but it was spotless and looked well-equipped. Some of the other reviews mentioned a bit small and tight en-suite bathroom, which, while true, was not a big issue for us. The location was great, very close to the city centre and very easy to find, while Peter was a proactive and responsive host who left very clear instructions. All in all, we didn't encounter any issues, so once again, I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Peter, and I hope to be able to book again sometime in the future.

Tanya is an amazing host very responsive and it’s an amazing place she has. Very easy to find with detailed check in instructions and also very relaxed on times. The place was so clean and tidy and also a lovely few extra touches put in place. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking!

Had a fabulous stay we stayed an extra night so we could have Sunday Roast at local Pub which was the best we had on our 4mth trip around the whole of UK. Lovely friendly hosts and would thoroughly recommend.

Can not recommend this place enough. Barbara sent very clear instructions through prior to check in, knowing that our satnav would only take us so far. Easy to follow and to check in. House is exactly as looks and is described, actually nicer. A very professional and luxury finish. The most generous welcome hamper was waiting for us, which was very much appreciated after a long day travelling. Beds are really comfy (mattresses on the softer side) and a really peaceful location, we all slept amazingly. Bedding and towels smelt incredible. Lots of little extras included e.g. miniature toiletries. Very generous with the amount of towels per guest. Had the pleasure of meeting Barbara as we were checking out, she was very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area, and more than happy to share with us. House was spotless. Had all the amenities you could possibly need, very easy to cook and clean up in the kitchen. Cannot recommend enough. A little piece of secluded heaven.

peter and sue were very friendly .. sue was there for check in and explained how everything worked. lots of leaflets for things to do in the area. The bungalow was pristine. Everything worked. bus stop just outside the property to go to the two in a few minutes. We would absolutely recommend this property and the lovely hosts.
