Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Touraine

We had a lovely week at la Bardoire. The house is very well-equipped and comfortable. Delphine is a very responsive host. There are several minor maintenance issues which need attention and then it would be perfect.

Comfortable and well-equipped

Frederic is an amazing host and goes above and beyond the normal host responsibilities. He attended to all our needs, questions, and curiosities. His property is something quite special!

The Presbytere is in a lovely peaceful location but with good access to explore the area around Tours. As it is such an old building that has had some modernisation, there were a few things that were interesting and unexpected! The built in oven and washing machine were behind an old wooden door and the microwave in another cupboard- but all worked perfectly. If you like a place with great character and are not looking for modern and contemporary, then you’ll love this place. The front garden was sunny most of the day, so lovely for sitting out for breakfast through to dinner. Gilles was very helpful and his friend Annie, who met us to let us in, was also lovely. One last thing, if you have any mobility issues then the Presbytere is probably not suitable as access is via several quite steep stone steps from the street and parking is a few metres away from the steps.

A lovely place to stay while cycling the Loire. To be recommended.

I loved the meticulous consideration, friendly guidance, and hearty welcome throughout my stay. My wife was very satisfied with the comfortable bed. You won't forget the charming chateaux, the peaceful atmosphere, the pretty village, and the friendly smiles.

Very pleasant stay at Antoine's. The apartment is very well located, close to the city center but quiet, in a very nice property. The accommodation is well equipped!

Perfect for a high in Tours in the center, everything you need is present in the accommodation. Smooth communication, easy check-in and check-out, even an early check-in was made possible, really great!

Sarah’s apartment was the perfect quick little stopover whilst we’re on our roadtrip. The apartment is very tastefully furnished, uber well equipped and in a gorgeous walkable location. The apartment was very clean and the bed was also comfortable! Water pressure in the shower was great too. I wouldn’t recommend bringing a large suitcase as the building is very old and has narrow doors and stairs (the apartment is on the 2nd floor). Sarah was also a very friendly host; offering recommendations of restaurants and boulangeries that were great. All in all, a great value stop in a gorgeous little town, I couldn’t recommend it more! Maggie and Cyril were great hosts. Cyril met us at the apartment and showed us around. The location is perfect for visiting central Tours, which is a lovely town. Parking was very easy and convenient. Highly recommended for a short stay.

Great authentic accommodation with a lot of charm, right in the middle of Blois.

I had an exceptional stay in this apartment! Everything was absolutely perfect: the jacuzzi is a real plus for relaxing, the massage chair pure happiness, the ultra comfortable king size bed, and the air conditioning very appreciable. The welcome was warm, professional and attentive from start to finish. You immediately feel at ease, like you're at home, but better! I recommend it blindly and will be happy to come back. Again, thank you for this great experience!

Hello Marine We had a very comfortable stay in your beautiful apartment. The garden is pretty and kept us cool during the hot summer days. Stunning house, well equipped ,Great pool. we stayed for Le man‘s 24 hrs race weekend. The only downside was spending time at the race instead of relaxing at the property.

The weather wasn't on our side for this family weekend, but the warm atmosphere of Betty's home allowed us to have a great time.

Completely atypical house and tastefully decorated in a style mixing the rustic of the farmhouse and contemporary works and designs. The garden is large, quiet and well protected. We had a very quiet week as we wanted with a visit to the castles of the Loire Valley nearby, restaurants following the informed advice of our hosts, when we did not want to cook. A big thank you to them for their kindness and hospitality.

Excellent stay at Jean Marie and Nadine's! They are very friendly, very available and very accommodating. The house is tastefully renovated, very well equipped and functional for a large family. Quiet, charming, and very comfortable modernized cottage with beautiful gardens. Many good walks, bike rides and markets in the area. Three nights was barely enough!

Very nice home, perfect for a group of friends or a large family. Young and old alike will find their happiness among all the available spaces. Beautiful pool. There are enough dishes for a large group. Eric responded to my many requests and came to fix a problem with the pool. Please note that we were there in hot weather, some rooms upstairs are very hot despite the fans.
