On the occasion of our traditional weekend of reunions between classmates, we spent a long weekend on site. The location is ideal, quiet with large spaces. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a great time (children and adults) I highly recommend it.

We had a pleasant stay with Anne and Bruno in their beautiful property. It is a peaceful green oasis that we had a hard time leaving! From the time of booking, Bruno was proactive: clear communication, welcoming and provided all the necessary information to prepare our stay. Bruno and Anne warmly welcomed us to La Penesais, accompanied by Loustic and Biscotte, their golden retrievers who are creams! They were discreet, accessible, and we never heard their presence or that of the visitors in the adjoining Airbnb. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and the functional apartment, tastefully furnished, as well as the cleanliness and attention to detail. I hope to have the pleasure of returning soon. Superb stay with friends on the banks of the Loire, beautiful house including a very nice garden that allows us to enjoy the outdoors. Close to Amboise and Tours with the many activities available nearby! Thanks for your hospitality!

We had a great stay at François' house. It's even more charming than the photos and the garden is a real haven of peace. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds comfortable. In short, we will not hesitate to return if we return to the area!

Detached house at the end of a dirt road and on the edge of a forest (we even saw a deer in the garden), with 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and one upstairs. All bedrooms are equipped with bathrooms. But beware, there is only one toilet, which may be just enough for 6 people. The decor is nice. The equipment is succinct. The location is great for visiting Blois (about ten minutes by car) and Chambord (about 30 km). The garden should be even more enjoyable in hot weather. The host was available and very responsive to send us the info about our check-in to the listing that hadn't loaded in the app.

Strongly recommend Menehould & Charles’ place! We stayed there for a week with kids and friends, and loved the amazing garden and “home” vibe. This is indeed their very own house which actually comes with load of advantages (very well furnished, everything you might need is there, they know the place by heart if something is needed etc.). Area is quite / peaceful but still at walking or biking distance from Vouvray or other neighbouring villages, and very central to explore the Touraine region.

We were 4 adults and found the accommodation quite suitable, clean, quiet, spacious, well-equipped. Pleasant terrace. Accommodation also suitable for travelers with children. Appreciated parking. Very responsive host while being discreet. We definitely recommend it. Thank you Mathias!

Despite a boiler problem when we arrived the rest of our stay went well. Pleasant castle, well-equipped, nice bathroom. Great for a weekend with friends or family.

This place is very special. It is 100% private in a beautiful setting surrounded by fields and forests. The two houses are a delight to spend time in. They have all the facilities we needed, and when anything happened which needed some attention our hosts came within 15 minutes to address them. Plus, within easy driving distances are a host of the very best Chateaux in the country; real authentic French restaurants in small villages... I could go on, but I hope you get the message, we loved our time at this lovely property.

Very pleasant stay in a very beautiful area, close to Amboise (15 min by car). The place is spacious, clean and very nice. Rémy was welcoming, accommodating and responsive, I recommend it!

An idyllic setting for those looking for a great space to welcome family and friends. A very pleasant calm, a decorated house with great taste and the pool house is a real plus. Patou welcomed us wonderfully and remained available throughout the stay. Between the swimming pool, the billiards room, the large living room with the video projector and the beautiful bar, this place will seduce you for sure. I highly recommend

This is a beautiful house in the French countryside! The gravel driveway to the house was navigable by a large van. House was clean, spacious and all appliances worked properly. The house is a great balance of modern renovation while preserving historical charm. It was more than enough room for 3 adults and 3 children. The only noises we heard outside were from the native birds. Sunset views are wonderful. Just a few minutes to nearby towns and 15 minutes to Chinon and larger grocery stores/pharmacies. Would definitely stay here again to visit more chateaus!

Ines and Antoines are very responsive! The house has a swimming pool, BBQ, goal cage and ping pong! Everything for family fun! Plus it is equipped if you have small children!

We had a great week! The house is perfectly equipped , the air conditioning was very useful the first 2 days of our stay. We enjoyed the pool greatly. Beautiful English garden. The walks along the expensive river are very soothing.

Very nice house, with beautiful spacious garden around it and lovely swimming pool. Very sweet and attentive hostess. Pots, pans, glasses, cutlery, sharp knives, delicious coffee maker and go much better and more numerous than elsewhere. Very quiet area, close to nice places and castles. Fantastic accommodation

Completely atypical house and tastefully decorated in a style mixing the rustic of the farmhouse and contemporary works and designs. The garden is large, quiet and well protected. We had a very quiet week as we wanted with a visit to the castles of the Loire Valley nearby, restaurants following the informed advice of our hosts, when we did not want to cook. A big thank you to them for their kindness and hospitality.

had a great stay with Didier and his wife. What a beautiful house. Spatially set up so you certainly don't have to walk in each other's way. However, it is handy with small children and grandmother who came to visit. A very spacious kitchen with all the comforts. I would just bring my own sharp knives that I missed. Clean rooms, kitchen, baby cot and high chair. Also fun games for the kids. Nice homemade tree fort and a swing! The house is in the countryside and trips to a nice town is usually a 45 minute drive. Don't mind this. The pool was a delight for swimming. Unfortunately, we had less than hoped for. But Didier turned on the heat pump for us and the canopy over it and then it is certainly good to spend time in the pool. Our son has overcome his fear of water here and couldn't get away! What a delight to see! We are extremely grateful to Didier and Betrix for our great stay! Recommended!

We had a very nice enchanted break in Sylvie's dovecote. Housed in the middle of a lush garden, with the pool right next door, and a short walk to the charming town of Saint-Aignan full of local specialties. Sylvie welcomed us very warmly, recommended all the local tips and had prepared the pool for us although it was a little early in the year. The accommodation is very functional, fully equipped and pleasant to live in. We really recommend this beautiful place.

Good area for visiting the castles of the Loire Valley or cycling or hiking. The place is beautiful. It is easy to see that this is a renovation done with great taste. I recommend it.

A SUBLIME family weekend, The house is impeccable, very comfortable and pleasant, Very bright with its large bay windows, a beautiful terrace with no neighbors opposite, Very clean and heated pool This gives a big advantage to this house, Close to sites to visit, We were able to arrive earlier without any problems and leave in the afternoon, Another big advantage 👍 We are delighted with our stay and of course we will come back with great pleasure.
