Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Townsend

Exactly like the pictures! They almost don’t do the view justice! The hot tub was one of our favorite parts. We drove about 40 min to Cade’s cove for a hike.. highly recommend. We also stopped at “Burger Master” and “Townsend Abby Pub” where David took great care of us! We will definitely be back to the Rocky Top Retreat!

Our stay was a last minute accommodation and the host was very quick to respond and made the process extremely easy for us. The location was perfect. Away from it all but not too far if we wanted to make a drive to it all. The host was always quick to respond and even checked in on us when we had an earthquake! The views are beautiful! The house was perfect. It felt like home away from home!

This house was absolutely STUNNING! Every day the view was just amazing. Owners VERY responsive! Enjoyed the hot tub and unit was well equipped in kitchen and nice touch with starter supplies. We found beds comfortable and all 6 of us (adults) could find some privacy. Enjoyed the billiards and the fireplace on the balcony was the perfect backdrop to talk about our adventures. The road was a bit scary if you are afraid of heights and hairpin turns! We got more comfortable as the week went on but we were still reluctant to drive in the dark! The house was good location to Sevierville. Enjoyed Holstens for dinner. The main drag is only about a 25 minute drive. Gatlinburg was about a 35 minute drive. Smokey mountains NP about 45 mins from house . We saw 6 bears on this trip. 1 ran past us in the driveway and we got a good picture from the balcony. Be careful to lock the doors to your car! So excited to see the mountains every morning. This is why we came to the area in the first place! Great decor and amount of space for two of us. Comfy bed and cute outdoor space we actually made time to use. If you want a place to decompress this is it! Plus Annie is super cute.

Walter was incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful. The space was well maintained and had all the essentials in the kitchen and bathroom. There is a TV in both the living room and bedroom which was a great plus, but we were mostly out and about given that it is so central to all of the hiking trails. It was a great stay.

This was a very last minute trip for my family and I. We literally booked it the day before check-in. Matt responded promptly and was so kind from the very beginning. His home was everything we expected and more. We have never been to the smokies before and with his clear concise directions and wonderful recommendations we were able to find his home quickly and were able to find restaurants and stores with ease. When it says mountain views it means, mountain views. We experienced beautiful sunsets, wildlife, watched fog roll over the mountains and got a great nights sleep!! The amenities were accurate to his description and the pools were so fun! We will definitely keep his beautiful place in mind if we ever visit again and we are so thankful for the memories made while in Gatlinburg. Thanks a bunch, Matt!!! Be Blessed.

Laura was a great host! The condo was very nice with great amenities! It was close to the National Park and had great restaurants near by. My only suggestion is drive slow when going up the mountain lots of turns and steep. Scenic drive and peaceful location! We got to see 4 bears in our trip! Thank you for a great vacation!

In love with this Airbnb! It was our little quiet space outside of the Gatlinburg chaos. We were so comfortable and relaxed and loved seeing the wildlife in the property (we saw four bears!!). Can’t recommend this enough.

The space was clean and the hosts had clear instructions. The bed was very comfortable. Nice location as well; you can walk to restaurants in Gatlinburg.

What a lovely and cozy place. Attention to detail when decorating. We felt right at home. The location was great, the sound of the rushing near by creek was so relaxing. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Likely to return.

My boyfriend and I love this cute studio! We would definitely come back and book again ☺️ the area was nice and peaceful and close to a lot of place! I definitely recommend it and the mattress is SUPER comfortable.
