You have stunning views from the house, constantly you can observe the changing moods of nature and see how light is sculpting the rocks and ridges of the Atlitzgraben. One feels like being included in a painting of Caspar David Friedrich... There are plenty of possibilities for walking, skiing and mountain biking.

We, the Hofer family, warmly welcome you to our vacation home on our organic farm in Kirchberg am Wechsel. Our farm is located in the Bucklige Welt at the foot of the Wechsel directly at the so-called Molzkreuzung. This vacation home, which was built by our ancestors around 1880, has been completely renovated by us from 2022 to 2024 in loving handwork inside and out. Thus, nothing stands in the way of your vacation with the highest level of comfort.

Our exclusive apartments are a journey back in time to the turn of the century around 1900, with the comforts of today. The newly renovated apartments are equipped to a high standard. A playground and swimming facilities in the river are freely available to you. In order to turn a turn-of-the-century manor house into a modern-day jewel, it takes an understanding of style, high-quality materials from yesteryear and a lot of attention to detail.

Cosy Cottage in the mountains

The Troadkasten is an old granary, a traditionally built house, which we have lovingly transformed into a cozy chalet. The cottage is located directly on our organic mountain farm at 1100 m above sea level and can accommodate up to 6 people. Your retreat for a quiet break or starting point for hikes and excursions in the Almenland Nature Park in Styria. Dogs are welcome. Chickens, cats and farm dog Luna run freely around the farm.

The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and charming space. It is always something special to cook, barbecue, celebrate or laugh together at the big table or on the terrace with the big family, with another friendly family, or with your own friends. A beautiful house made of pure wood close to the Semmering and Stuhleck ski resorts, close to the Schneeberg and Rax hiking areas. Bicycles are available free of charge.

Rural Retreat with all comfort

This 100 year old wooden house is surrounded on 3 sides by forest and offers a wonderful view of the Rax. The south-facing, sunny view extends from the Rax to the Preiner Gschaid. The house has a heating with two Swedish stoves, which are able to heat the entire house. A modern kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator (with freezer) and induction cooker completes the basic equipment. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.

The cozy accommodation is an ideal location for hiking and ski tours, skiing and relaxing! Shopping, an inn, bus stop, train station and the Stuhleck ski resort are only 100 meters away. Directly on the Semmering Railway World Heritage Site, 100 km from Vienna and Graz. Many destinations can be reached in 1 hour by car: Lake Neusiedl, Mariazell, Hohe Wand, Rax and Schneeberg for hiking and much more.

From the large west-facing terrace of this new apartment you can see the roof landscape of Hartberg's "Cittá slow". You can take the elevator directly from the public parking garage to the third floor. The building is directly connected to the pedestrian zone of the old town, which offers a wide range of restaurants to linger in, but also has a lot to offer culturally.
