Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Tremezzo

Everything about the house was wonderful. The only thing I would caution is if you don’t have a car and you have difficulty walking, it is not an easy place to get to. I will say it got easier each day. The bus was very convenient getting around once you get down the hill.

Thank Serenella for hosting us. The apartment was pristine, view was beautiful, basket was full of complimentary items. Anyone that needs some time to collect themselves and be away from civilizition and think things through, this is the spot! Thanks again .

The accommodation is beautiful - the fantastic view the absolute highlight. The premises are super divided & the house is very charming. Would book again immediately! Only the parking situation is a bit difficult. It's not easy to find a parking spot.

I would recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic place, peace and quiet and a beautiful view of the lake. The host is very communicative, helpful and welcoming. For these reasons I give the highest rating. The house, which is more than 100 years old, in a pedestrian area on the hillside, also has some inconveniences (uphill walk to the house, toilet on a different level from the bedrooms). For me this is a minor inconvenience, but it might bother someone else. The host sends a video showing the approach from the car park to the house.

A very nice, quiet accommodation with wonderful views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Carlo is a very friendly and helpful host. The accommodation was clean and well equipped.

We had a great time at Ivana's place. The house is very charming, impeccably clean in a splendid setting, offering an absolutely magnificent view! Amazing host and a breathtaking view. Too bad we couldn't use the pool due to cold windy weather but had an amazing time with family and kids. with only 10 min drive to local attractions and ferry. I would highly recommend this Michele and his property.

The view from the balcony was beautiful towards the lake and we had a wonderful view of the mountain too. Mary is a very nice lady and helped us with everything we asked for! The apartment has an unbelievable view. The view out the front door will take your breath away. It's beautiful. The entire town is walkable and worth exploring. The train and ferry stations are also walking distance from the apartment, and we ended up using both for day trips to other lake cities. This is truly a magical location. We will forever remember having our morning coffee or pre-dinner wine on the lake, a mere 10 feet from our front door. Francesca and her mother were amazing, responsive, and helpful in every way. They left us a bottle of their family's wine as a welcome present. On our departure day, it was pouring rain, and they offered to drive us to the train station. So unexpected and kind. I would highly recommend this apartment and location. We'll visit again.

My wife and I stayed in Nertilia's apartment, which corresponded to what was listed on the site. Very clean apartment with attention to detail. Hosts available and gave us directions and tips on Lake Como. We had a great time, we recommend it.

We were very warmly welcomed by Silvia. Check in was very smooth. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and enjoyed spending time there. Silvia gave us great tips for the area. The absolute highlight is the balcony and the pool. We will be happy to come back!

Everything was perfect!! The apartment was spacious, well furnished and so comfortable!! Kitchen was well stocked with premier utensils. The location was great to explore the waterfront and beautiful surroundings. We parked in the 30 minute lot at the head of the street to load and unload. The parking pass that he provided for us was a key benefit. We would highly recommend Stefano’s apartment and would surely stay there again.

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

What an incredible stay! Michele’s place has everything you need to feel at home, all in an amazing location. There are enough amenities nearby such as the convenience store and 2 restaurants/bars, along with bus stops and even the dock for ferries across the lake. The views from every window and the rooftop are stunning. Thank you, Michele!

The accommodation is simply unique! The view with the pool is really gigantic! The accommodation was a dream, we will come back! Everything was as described and in the photos. A super large and modern bathroom.

It’s very beautiful and clean villa and convenient location!

Four of us stayed here for only a couple days and were incredibly impressed by the spectacular view of the lake and the surroundings. It looked like out of a travel magazine. The unit itself was quite nice with total upgrades everywhere which were in top condition. If you are driving yourself up the hill to the home be prepared for some fun driving adventures on twisting turning curves that are somewhat narrow. We always had a driver. We could see that it takes some experience to get good at it.

A wonderful, spacious villa in keeping with era, with beautiful terrace and gardens. near to town and the ferryboat terminal. Roxanna was an excellent attentive host.

Johannas is the most wonderful Airbnb host. His detailed instructions, warmth, and generosity made my stay on Lake Como so positive. As for the villa, what a perfect base for exploring all the lake has to offer. The views are magical, the bed is comfortable, and it’s close to bus stops. Travelling alone, Johannas’ home felt safe and secure. I hope to return one day! Thank you again. I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough!

Words really can’t describe how beautiful this villa is. Eugenia is an incredible host, to say the absolute least. She is super helpful and on top of every thing you could ask for. Eugenia really made us feel at home and made everything so easy for us from transportation to restaurants to boats etc. I highly recommend staying here, you will NOT regret it.

My only regret is that we can’t give 6 stars on the evaluation and that since we want to come back it hurts me to advertise it to others!! Frankly, a part from the place which is a little jewel, the calmness of the surroundings, the spectacular lake Como, what we appreciated the most is the kindness and proactivity of our hosts.
