Nyree and Jeff were the perfect hosts and their home in Proissans is just idyllic. We had 6 wonderful days there and wished we’d booked longer. The setting is so beautiful, the gite is lovely, cosy and well appointed, we loved the animals and the pool, and Nyree and Jeff were so kind and welcoming. There is lots to do in the surrounding areas and Nyree and Jeff made some great recommendations including canoeing along the dordogne and a visit to Chateau des Milandes. We would 100% recommend a stay and hope to return again next year.

We have just had a jolly spiffing holiday at Petit Grange! Monpazier is of course as beautiful as ever and the beer at Biere De Las Bastide still as quaffable, and all just 5 mins walk away! Petite Grange was perfect for our stay, having ample room to accommodate four adults. Everything you need has been thoughtfully included and all is clean and fresh as you'd expect from top notch hosts. Although we didn't try the pool or hottub (it being out of season) we found the garden and veranda offered both sunshine and shade, along with stunning views and a much-used BBQ, indeed if it wasn't such a beautiful area with much to see we could happily just hang out at Petite Grange - and will definitely return! What a fabulous gite in a wonderful location to explore the best of the Dordogne. 10 minutes from Terrasson, a beautiful old town on the river, spoilt for choice for great restaurants… or simple chilled evenings taking in the views. Jenny (& Fleur) is the perfect host, going above and beyond to ensure you have a perfect stay. Not intrusive but if you a fancy a glass of wine she will be on hand! (thank you for ours) We would return in a heartbeat and hopefully soon. Would highly recommend.

We had a great week at Olivier's cottage - the place is beautiful, peaceful and very well-equipped. It matches the photos and description perfectly. Olivier was very responsive and his information was very clear and helpful. I teleworked and the wifi connection is impeccable. Lots of places to visit nearby such as Puy l'Evêque, Cahors, Pech Merle Cave, Rocamadour, the Gouffre de Padirac and many more! Walks in the vineyards are very pleasant as is the Jacuzzi at the end of the day with a view of the forest :) We can only recommend this cottage and thank Olivier and Fabienne for the perfect provision of their accommodation. We had a very nice stay with Sofie and Irm. After a long drive, we arrived very late in the evening, in the dark. Nevertheless, we were received with great kindness by Sofie and we immediately saw: this is a wonderful place. The gite is equipped with all comforts, is super clean and very nicely decorated. The grounds are very large, beautiful and definitely worth exploring. Monpazier is within walking distance of many good restaurants. Sofie and Irm are very sweet hosts. They are always up for a chat, give valuable tips, and gave us fresh eggs every few days. You can really see that they enjoy receiving guests and making them feel at home. We had a wonderful stay at april and max’s (4 adults and a 1 and 4 year old). The house is in a beautiful and peaceful setting with lots of lovely places a short drive away. April and Max were such warm and kind hosts - we had a minor incident with one of our children while on holiday and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed with great facilities - we felt it was better in real life than the pictures. We would definitely return if coming back to the area 😊

We had such a wonderful week staying at The Walnut Gite. Caroline and Jerry were fantastic hosts giving us lots of super recommendations and always on hand to answer any questions. The location is stunning and perfect for a family get away with the dog, with plenty of nearby attractions but far enough away for peace and quiet. The gite is beautifully decorated with anything and everything you might need during the stay. Highly recommend and we’ll be back for sure.

We stayed for a month enjoyed a very relaxing time. Marie Christine could not have been more helpful. The village is beautiful and busy during the day but very quiet at night with limited restaurants open. But it is open with all the restaurants at lunch time. The Bar in the centre of the village was very friendly and we would recommend the hotel in the village for food! The walks were sublime - if you love walking you will love it here. Marie Christine was super helpful and hospitable - even when we accidentally broke her fridge - a truly lovely lady. If you like quirky you will love it here.

the house was extremely comfortable and had a lovely fenced garden and super terrace. we enjoyed coming home there. the distance from facilities was doable with sarlat 14 mins away.

Wow, what a place. The view is fantastic. The cottage is fine. I'm glad there are two showers. We were allowed to use the pool and that was really great! The hosts are very nice and offer help where needed.

A brilliant and beautiful Gite with the best hosts. Can't wait to come back. Hosts are so good that they went above and beyond the call of duty and even managed to organise someone to come and collect my car and get two new tyres fitted and receiver to the Gite. he even left his car for the two hours in case we needed one. Great hosts beautiful Gite. My advice is simple-book now !

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

A beautiful house with a beautiful exterior, great for relaxing for a few days and enjoying the sights to see around. Sylvie is responsive and very pleasant, my expectations were largely met.

As good as it gets! We’ve had a lovely stay and felt at home in the gite which has everything we needed. But more importantly the location is unique with amazing views and horses grazing nearby. Laurence and Alain took the time to show us around the estate, and we’ve had a few lovely surprises. Thanks for all the tips and for the warm welcome.

Karen and Steve were great hosts. Very helpful and informative but at the same time discreet and unimposing. The little gite was lovely, very homely with a really comfy bed. It was within easy reach of towns such as Montignac, les Eyzies and Sarlet. A great spot for discovering the Dordogne and for relaxing at the end of the day.

There were three of us, with a toddler, and it was perfect to unplug. The house is beautiful and idyllically located. The pool and accommodation were clean, the facility is very well maintained and the kitchen well equipped. The hosts live right next door, you feel welcome and like home. But you absolutely need a car, you are in a remote place. The only flaw: The amenities of the accommodation are rather old and outdated. Thank you for the wonderful week

We had a great stay with friends in Sylvain's cottage. Our host was very welcoming and we had a very nice time with him. The environment of the cottage is very quiet. The pool was much appreciated. We were able to enjoy every meal on the terrace. The cottage is more than well-equipped. However, it is not recommended for people with mobility problems due to steps in the main room. Our stay was a bit lacking. We will be happy to return to continue our visits to the beautiful surroundings.

We had a great time. We had everything we needed for our baby without asking for anything, it's very appreciable. (High chair, bathtub, towel, blanket) The cottage is very well located (10 minutes from Domme) is quiet, very well equipped. I think this is the first time I've done an Airbnb with so much attention and so well thought out. All the little touches are really little extras to have a good stay. Sincerely, a big congratulations to you, you did something really nice. Outside is beautiful too. Everything is very well explained for everything, the elf is a nugget of information

We needed a large property to accommodate four adults in separate rooms, thus property was perfect for us. The location was ideal for us attending a wedding at the Chateau Cazenac.

We enjoyed a very relaxing and enjoyable time here. The house is very spacious so even if the weather is not sunny, there is room for chilling, reading, playing games! The house is definitely a home from home place and feels very 'hosted' - i felt like a guest in this home. Lovely. We had a great time at Jusefa's. The calm of the place and the beauty of the environment are ideal for road bike lovers and those who just want to rest and recharge. Jusefa was very welcoming and responsive, and the accommodation perfectly matches the photos: comfortable, clean and full of charm.
