A celebration of my 70 years with children and 4 grandchildren. Perfect. Great outdoor space. Rooms were basic but we prefer that as we would have worried about the children with sticky fingers etc if it had been all designer chic. A beautiful pool. A few minutes from culture and great beaches. A SPA supermarket 10 minutes away with great fresh veg, meat and fish. And wine ! Well done Paulo.

A beautiful location, surrounded by nature, where peace reigns and it is a wonder for the eyes. Helpful, friendly and ready for any request, we were sorry to leave, it was like being at home. Thank you for everything

Staying at this beautiful old farmhouse in Sicily was nothing short of magic. The Old Poet’s House completely stole our hearts- it’s soaked in history and character in the best possible way. From the moment we stepped in, it felt like walking onto the set of a vintage Italian film- every corner had a story, and every detail felt intentional and romantic. Our evenings were pure bliss: cooking up fresh local food in the rustic kitchen, then heading out to the balcony with a glass of crisp, cold wine to catch the most breathtaking sunsets. Seriously, it doesn’t get better than that. The location was a perfect base for exploring Sicily- close enough to all the good stuff but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and special. And our host? Absolutely incredible. Full of tips, hidden gem food spots, and local knowledge that really helped us make the most of our time. This was easily one of our favourite ever Airbnbs. We’ll definitely be back. Grazie mille for the unforgettable memories!

This place was magic. It’s at the end of an impeccably maintained white track, and when you arrive and walk through the stone walled gate of the Villa, it is a self contained, oasis. Rooms surround an elegant courtyard, with plenty of seating for outside dining. The kitchen is beautifully appointed and has all necessary equipment for making a full meal. The espresso machine is fantastic. What a luxury to have such delicious coffee at home. Thoughtful details are everywhere. Beautiful stone sinks in the kitchen and painted tiles, perfect lighting, a comfy wool blanket in every room, such comfortable beds, a full kitchen/clothes washer for rooms on the upper level, a gorgeous upper veranda with sweeping views of the olive grove, gardens and the sea, garden seating for the grill below, outdoor showers by generous pool and most gracious caretaker to help with anything. We absolutely loved it.
