Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Trieste

Abbiamo soggiornato nella casa di Franka solo una notte, di passaggio in zona. Il villaggio è un po' isolato, circa 20 minuti in auto da Gorizia, ma vale la pena guidare un po' perché la casa è immersa nel verde, molto ampia e pulita. L'alloggio è al piano superiore della casa e nella parte inferiore vive Franka con suo marito. Appartamento molto ampio, eravamo in 4 adulti e lo spazio era ampiamente sufficiente. La cucina è completa di tutto. Posto auto nel cortile al coperto. La comunicazione con Franka è sempre stata puntuale e veloce, anche grazie alla traduzione automatica di Airbnb. Lei e il marito parlano poco italiano o inglese, ma sono persone accoglienti e la lingua non è un problema. La descrizione della casa e dell’esterno è molto dettagliata e rispetta esattamente la realtà. Per il check-in ci hanno aspettato e le indicazioni sono state molto chiare. Ci torneremo volentieri.

What a fantastic stay! The accommodations were wonderful with comfortable beds, a great terrace, and ample space for our family of 5. However, the best part was the connections with Elizabeta’s family and others in the town. We can’t say enough about how welcoming and wonderful everyone was! We would 100% stay again.

Skvělé! Určitě se chceme vrátit. Mirna je úžasná hostitelka, která byla velmi nápomocná. Během pobytu jsme potřebovali autoservis, který nám Mirna domluvila. Velké díky! ❤️ Ubytování je moc hezké. Podle mě vypadá větší než na fotkách. Je rozložené do tří pater, což nám nevadilo, ale s malými dětmi, nebo starší osoby by mohly mít problém. Užili jsme si klid divoké zahrady a výlety do okolí. Super ☀️

First, the apartment is in a great location. You are within 25 min - 1/2 hour of all the major local attractions: Lipica Stud Farm, Skocjan Cave, and Postojna Cave. Second, the town is small, peaceful, and pretty. There are 2 bars nearby for drinks and snacks and 3 miles away there are restaurants and supermarkets. Third, the apartment is spacious and lovely and extremely clean and neat. As a visitor from Italy, I appreciated that the bathroom had a bidet, which you don't often see in Slovenia. Fourth, our host was very kind, helpful, and friendly. He had a lot of available information about the area ready. When we asked him for some other information, he immediately fetched it. He gifted us with many snacks, foods and wine, very kindly. This apartment is a great place in which to enjoy rural Slovenia.

The place was an absolute find. It was everything we hoped. Beautiful home, well furnished. Best thing was the greeting. We were personally met and we were really well taken care of. We were given tips of the local restaurants and sights, and the service was really, really frienldy. Full five stars

Wir waren als vierköpfige Familie mit zwei Kindern in diesem Haus. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Unterkunft war nicht nur wunderschön eingerichtet, sie war auch super sauber und es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Besonders haben wir die Morgenden im Garten genossen: Mit Frühstück auf der Terrasse und mit viel Spaß im Pool. Dennis war ein wunderbarer Gastgeber. Er war immer da, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Dass das Häuschen in seinem Garten steht, war überhaupt kein Problem. Wir hatten absolute Privatsphäre und nie das Gefühl irgendwie beobachtet zu werden. Natürlich ist das Haus nicht riesig und der Platz war zu viert durchaus überschaubar. Aber da wir eigentlich sowieso nur zum schlafen im Haus waren und ansonsten immer draußen, hat uns die Größe überhaupt nicht gestört. Novigrad ist ein wunderschönes ruhiges Städtchen. Wir haben uns dort alle rundum wohlgefühlt.

Gloria and Alen were wonderful hosts! This place is truly exceptional—we loved the style of the house, and it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. We’ll definitely be coming back; it’s earned a spot on our top list!

Inga und ihre Familie waren die besten Gastgeber bei denen wir bisher waren, wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist wunderschön und der Ausblick einfach Wahnsinn. Wir waren 7 Tage mit einem 15 Monate alten Kind da und Inga hat alles nötige bereitgestellt. Inga und Andelko sind sehr offen und auch für einen kurzen oder längeren Schwatz zu haben. Wir können es nur empfehlen und wenn wir nochmal in der Gegend sind, werden wir wieder vorbeischauen :-)

Uns hat die Unterkunft von Branka sehr gut gefallen! Der Check-in verlief trotz schwerem Gepäck und Zufahrtsverbot für Touristen einwandfrei, da wir sehr ausführliche und hilfreiche Anweisungen von Branka bekamen. 🙏🏼🤗 Außerdem ist alles fußläufig erreichbar, weswegen man sich hier gut entspannen kann. Alles in allem können wir dieses Airbnb nur weiterempfehlen und kommen auch gerne wieder ☺️

Wonderful stay in Piran after a few days in Central Slovenia - apartment was perfect for our group of two couples with room to spare. We especially enjoyed the view from the rooftop. Would certainly recommend. Sweet seaside town.

Majda was incredibly helpful, responsive, and friendly, and the place is in a peaceful and stunningly beautiful location! The place is very spacious, comfortable, well-stocked, and has many beautiful pieces of furniture and art and plants as well as a lovely balcony we really enjoyed. We would highly recommend this place!

Jens is een fijne snel reagerende host. Het huis is met veel liefde en zorg gerenoveerd en ingericht. Heerlijke uitvalsbasis naar o.a. Motovun, Oprtalj, en Porec. Fantastisch startpunt om met de racefiets mooie tochten te maken met hoogtemeters naar keus. Mijn vrouw en ik hebben erg genoten!

Great spot to stay in Trieste. Easily walkable to the old city and buses were available if need be. Big supermarket around the corner. Giuliano met us when we arrived and was a wealth of information. One suggestion to visit the osmizas which are local farms that sell their products a few days a year was a real highlight of our trip! Bed was comfortable, kitchen was compact but workable to make complete meals. Would definitely stay here again

Mirjam’s place above the city is lovely and the view is so calming. Very quiet are and feels like home away from home. Thank you.

Die Lage war ideal und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Gastgeberin: super freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit ansprechbar. Ubytování u Majdy a Ivana bylo pěkné, čisté, pro 4 člennou rodinu ideální. Hostitelka nás ubytovala i o několik hodin dříve,než bylo domluvené. Kuchyň plně vybavená, základní potraviny dostupné. Koupelna čistá, připraveny ručníky, pračka funkční i s pracím práškem. Hostitelka byla milá a příjemná, doporučila kam vyrazit na procházky. Terasa v příjemné zahrádce plne bylinek 😊 Hostitele bydlí ve stejném domku s vlastním vchodem a když nechcete,ani se nepotkáte. Cesta k moři po silnici cca 15minut, zkratkou přes schody a strmou cestičku 10 min😊 Určitě doporučujeme dalším návštěvníkům slovinského pobřeží.

Krasna hiša na čudoviti lokaciji! Mir in moznost za razne aktivnosti, kar je bilo idealno za dve družini in otroke razlicnih starosti. Komunikacija z Manco je bila neoporecna. Sprejela nas je prijazna Darija, kar je dalo nasemu obisku topel pečat in nam bo dolgo ostalo v spominu. Hvala!

Neven’s home was wonderful! It was beautifully rustic but with modern amenities and decor. The property itself was stunning and picturesque. Neven was very helpful during check in and check out.

Wir hatten einen absolut traumhaften Aufenthalt! Das Haus ist nicht nur sehr groß, sondern auch makellos sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Besonders begeistert waren wir von dem hochwertigen Olivenöl und den köstlichen Weinen, die direkt vor Ort erhältlich waren – eine wunderbare regionale Ergänzung! Die Außenanlage ist ein echtes Highlight: der Garten ist wunderschön gepflegt, der Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein und das kleine, aber sehr gut ausgestattete Gym war perfekt, um auch im Urlaub aktiv zu bleiben. Der Empfang war überaus herzlich – wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und haben viele tolle Empfehlungen für die Umgebung erhalten. Der Gastgeber war jederzeit erreichbar und hat unseren Aufenthalt mit seiner Hilfsbereitschaft rundum angenehm gemacht. Wir können dieses Haus und die Gastgeber wärmstens empfehlen und kommen definitiv wieder! 🍷🏡

Great villa with amazing views. In small hamlet with other villas. Very close rustic restauant, with other great restaurant a short drive away. Close to cycle route, but hilly.

We had a great time at Alisa’s place. The house, the garden as well as the pool are very nice and comfortable. Alisa was easy to reach and had great recommendations for us (e.g. beaches, restaurants).

We had a wonderful stay in Meri's accommodation. She and her husband Vedran are great hosts and try very hard to ensure that you don't miss anything. You quickly feel at home and the exchange is very private, as if you have known each other for a long time. The villa is small but very nice, the completely fenced garden and the large pool were ideal for us and our dog. everything is clean and tidy. We can really recommend the accommodation. An absolutely charming stay in a superb villa. The construction was of very high quality and the building was quiet, spacious and very comfortable. The amenities, especially the pool, and even MORE SO the jacuzzi and sauna (personal favorites) made the stay seem like being in a private spa. The location is wonderful. Delightfully windy roads lead from small village to small village, until you reach Villa Poji which looks out on gorgeous countryside. There are some great places to visit within 20 minutes, MOST great Istrian locales within an hour, but often it’s best to just stay put and enjoy the feeling of the countryside and the comfort of the villa. Filip was an exceptional host, providing a lovely welcome and timely answers to any questions that could come up by being available through ‘whats’ messaging app. This is a wonderful way to communicate with the owners. We felt the space was very private and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. I highly recommend anyone to stay at Vill

I have to say, this is probably the cleanest Airbnb I've every stayed in........sparkling clean! Tatjana was accommodating in every way to insure our comfort. The villa is lovely inside and out, located in a quite, remote village, but centrally located on the peninsula with easy access in every direction........and, there's a great restaurant just a two minute walk away with a terrace for sunset watching, the only one in town, I believe.
