Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Trinidad, Washington

Absolutely perfect for our 2-night stay with our adult son! The space was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed. Though it’s a basement apartment, it felt totally private and peaceful. The living area was huge—with a ping pong table, bar seating, and a sectional big enough to sleep two. The hosts also provided comfy twin mattresses that worked great for our son. 1.5 baths made things super convenient for the three of us, and check-in was a breeze. We never saw the hosts in person but felt completely taken care of—super responsive and thoughtful. Plus, Hyattsville is an awesome, safe little town with fun bars, restaurants, and easy access to DC. We’ll 1000% stay here again!

This was, I believe, our 5th year staying at Kate’s. Always comfortable - always spotless! In fact, this is by far the cleanest Airbnb we have ever booked. Kate is a very responsive host as well - super helpful with any questions we have ever had! We will continue staying here for our annual NIH visit as long as it is available to us! The residence is lovely, eclectic, comfortable and roomy. It was a very bright and inviting home. So many little details made it very interesting, from the layout (wonderful workspace downstairs overlooking the front walk), to the artwork (don’t miss the figurines above the front door threshold !) and the bathroom renovations were great. We enjoyed our trip to Washington D.C., and a large part was the very enjoyable ‘vibe’ of the residence.

Great location just a short walk from my relative’s home. Everything looked brand new. Soft linens, thick towels, snacks, water. Very nice touches throughout. We wish we had time to enjoy the peaceful garden. Esther was very prompt and helpful in her communications. I’d definitely stay here again on my next family visit.

Literally speechless for how much we loved this place. She went above and beyond. You actually feel like a guest in one of a close family friend’s home and not a stranger. I’d love to return! 10/10 can’t recommend enough!

This house is truly unique and the multi-story library is awesome for everyone. The roof (and other balconies!) are awesome. Shane was a faultless host, incredibly responsive, helpful and generous. Very well stocked for kids, solid kitchen, lovely bathrooms and comfy beds. We live about 6 blocks away (stayed while our house was being repaired), so we are very familiar with the neighborhood. This awesome house is just off a major intersection and although it sits on a nice little side street, it is right up against a gas station meaning there’s a good amount of foot traffic/noise when you step outside. The house itself is fairly quiet considering, and this was the only downside.

This was such a cute place. It was surrounded by such great Capitol Hill life. We were shocked by how friendly and safe the neighborhood was. So many people out walking, kids playing, we even saw a youth soccer practice at the park. We also LOVED the stay! The kitchen has everything you need, the bathroom is beautiful and there is 0 light that peeps in the bedroom so you can get a great nights sleep!! It did rain for us a bunch so we weren’t able to use the outdoor seating much, but its right outside the door. It was clean, spacious and unique! Highly recommend

We loved staying here! Such a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. We were able to walk to and from the zoo so easily which was perfect for us. The driving distance to go sightsee in D.C. was not bad either and the street parking was very convenient. Chris was always reachable in case we had any questions. Definitely would rebook here again!

Very responsive host. The side yard is very nice for people with dogs that travel. Location is very nice but DC traffic during rush hour can be rough but this can be planned for. Would stay again.

This is the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at. Everything you could think of was provided. Very clean. Great instructions and Guest Guide. Large 1 bedroom/1 bath basement apartment.

Great location and well decorated place. The noise from the house above was minimal and didn’t bother us. My only complaint is that there wasn’t a sheet for the pack-n-play mattress, so I had to have one same-day delivered for my baby. It’s a small place, and I’m not sure how it would sleep four and where you would put two air mattresses. We had one air mattress and it was tight. Sleeps three is more accurate. Otherwise great host and excellent stay.

Wonderful stay! Elizabeth was quick to answer questions and made sure we had a great stay. Lovely place, had everything we needed and more. I was so thankful to have a washer and dryer since we had been traveling for so long. Elizabeth even had a washing machine pod for us. Would definitely stay again!

Celia was one of the most accommodating hosts that I have encountered. She allowed an early check-in and late checkout. She had apples, bananas and nuts for snacks in addition to coffee beans and even a couple of containers of milk, so I didn’t have to run out for coffee. The space is in a historic house in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. It was quiet and there was a nice, private porch outback, which was a great spot for reading. The neighborhood itself is lovely with well maintained yards. A Metro station is about 1/2 mile away which allows easy access to all parts of DC. We were so happy with the accommodations, so I highly recommended Celia’s place.

Tucked in the heart of Bethesda with a quiet charm that somehow still feels central to everything, this stay was a gem. Getting around was a breeze—whether by foot, metro, or last-minute snack run to the 24/7 CVS or 7-Eleven. The apartment itself? Immaculate. Fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—and then some. The internet didn’t blink, the TV was streaming-ready (a blessing for our nightly Netflix ritual), and we barely had to buy a thing beyond food. Rodrigo was the kind of host you wish all hosts were—attentive, responsive, and refreshingly clear with every detail. Winston, the building manager, was also incredibly kind and helpful. Bonus points for the cozy terrace, which turned into our favorite nighttime hangout spot. All in all, one of the most exceptional Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Would come back in a heartbeat—no hesitation, no second thoughts, just pure comfort.

Very nice and quiet apartment in great Capitol Hill neighborhood. Walkable to many places including the Capitol building itself. Updated, very tasteful and clean. Enjoyed the stay, definitely would come back.

Love this clean calm space-the balcony was wonderful. Mark was super responsive, checked in on us and we had everything we needed-especially in the kitchen. Great location for walking to restaurants and stores. Will definitely stay again!

This was a beautiful condo with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. It was so well stocked with everything you might need- more like staying with a thoughtful friend than at an Airbnb. The area was convenient to the metro yet really quiet for sleeping (even with kiddos who go to bed around eight). The pocket park just a block away was a perfect space for our kids to play. We would definitely stay here again!

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. Israel’s place is a must stay while in DC. I wish I could gate keep it for myself lol. It’s exactly as described in photos. Perfect location in the Navy Yard and walkable to so many places. Each day I was able to walk to Orangetheory and SolidCore to workout and found a cute coffee shop along the way. I think the only thing I disliked was the firmness of the mattress but this will differ for everyone. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. Responsiveness, location, cleanliness, check-in, were all on point. Additionally really appreciated Israel’s flexibility as a host. I was supposed to stay in December but due to a last minute emergency I needed to change my reservation literally hours before. Last minute travel changes with flight, accommodation, etc can be hectic but Israel helped make this part easy for me. Overall, great experience and will definitely be staying here again!
