Holiday rentals with a patio in Trinidad, Washington

This was my second stay at this Airbnb, and it was just as fantastic as the first—if not better! Returning felt like coming back to a peaceful little retreat. The space remains just as charming, clean, and thoughtfully put together, with every detail designed for comfort and ease. This time around, I was able to fully enjoy the private outdoor patio, and it truly elevated the experience. Whether sipping coffee in the crisp morning air or winding down with a cocktail in the evening, it quickly became my favorite spot to relax. The hosts continue to go above and beyond—warm, responsive, and clearly dedicated to making every stay exceptional. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Still highly recommend without hesitation!

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

Thad is very responsive, super helpful, and gifted me a great bottle of wine. The place is clean, very cute, private, and in a safe and extremely walkable/convenient area. The price and the amenities far exceeded any hotel suite I could have booked. I highly recommend this place!

Stayed at Erin’s place for a night and wish it was longer! The room is steps away from the restaurant I met with my friends at. It is situated near all that Del Ray and the rest of Alexandria has to offer. In addition, the bed was quite comfortable and the suite itself is quite luxurious.

Jillian's place was perfect for my husband and I on a short visit to DC. We loved the location so close to Rock Creek Park on a tree lined quiet street. We did have a car, but carless transport would require a bit of a walk to transit to get to downtown DC. The place is a typical DC daylight basement apartment, so a long stay working from home might not be feel a little claustrophobic. Jillian and her family were very quiet overhead which we appreciated. For a night or two this place is great -comfortable bed, excellent shower, comfortable sitting area and kitchen with enough for our stay. We would stay there again if we are back in DC.

Marvin was an amazing host more than accommodating, super helpful and the place was sensational genuinely felt at home whilst myself and my dad stayed here lots of amazing recommendations. thank you Marvin !

The place has all the amenities like cooking, great shower, has a washing machine and dryer. Has netflix access so you wont bored. Easy access to highways. The neighborhood is very quiet and felt safe. We have a great time staying in this place.

We absolutely adored our stay! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything smelled delightful and looked spotless. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, and the games provided a lovely touch. Overall, we had nothing but positive experiences! By the way, I was impressed that you had a garment steamer. I had never used one before and thought it was a really cool feature.

I had a lovely stay at this Airbnb. Easy check in, super communicative host, and the accommodations were exactly what I needed for a long weekend. I loved the code-lock door and not having to worry about keeping track of a key, the tv and couch made for a comfortable relaxation spot, there was a nice desk for me to work at, plenty of outlets…it really was a wonderful airbnb location. Shareef was an excellent host, I especially appreciated him reminding me that I could use a parking pass the day before I was supposed to check in and forgot myself! I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I need to stay in DC again. :)

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. Not to mention the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. The location was perfect—peaceful, but still close to everything I needed. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

CJ was by far the best and most gracious AirBNB host my friends and I have ever had. He was proactively asking if we need anything and was always extremely accommodating and helpful. Thank you again CJ for everything. I will definitely be back when I visit DC again. 10/10!

We had a wonderful stay at Laura’s. It was a comfortable space in a great location; perfect for both relaxing and exploring the city. We would definitely come back and recommend this space to others!

I simply cannot say enough about Kathryn’s wonderful (and it is charming) place in DC (in the nice Brookland neighborhood). Kathryn’s place was a) spotless; b) comfortable; c) bed (so) comfortable; d) filled w/ signs that she cares about hosting and cares about making her guests stay at home. So well appointed! AC worked like a charm (I was there in the summer). The neighborhood is safe, her place is dramatically close (one block away) to the DC Metro (meaning: from her place you can easily go everywhere). I had gone to her neighborhood to make a pilgrimage to see the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (which you can see from her block). The pilgrimage to the National Shrine (on the Catholic U. campus) was very meaningful, as a Catholic. And I felt so much at home in Kathryn’s wonderful place. When I’m fortunate enough to be back in DC, I hope to stay there again! Highly recommended!

Stefane’s airbnb is a lovely space. It is clean and well-appointed in a walkable neighborhood with coffee and restaurants quite near. The bed is ridiculously comfortable. The space itself is a basement unit, so very little natural light. Great spot for single travelers or a couple.

The house was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. It was spacious and inspiringly curated. We were impressed by the house's built-in sound system and lighting, and the two kitchens had everything we needed for group meals and celebrating a friend's birthday. The rooftop offered serene views of sunsets, and we appreciated the celebration of Black authors and artists throughout the space. The host family next door was incredibly responsive and friendly and made checking in and out a breeze. So grateful that they made this space available to us for a wonderful weekend in D.C.

This was a wonderful stay. I loved how they communicated. Very informative. I was in town for multiple events and the furthest i traveled was 12 min. The location is amazing. Compact amenities. Definitely recommend

This is a rare find and a real treat. I was visiting DC from the UK and had originally planned to stay in a hotel in downtown but as I live in a quiet English village I was worried about lack of sleep from the big city buzz. I searched for an Airbnb (as I always favour these v hotels) which highlighted safety and peace - and Celia's lovely apartment came up. This is such a fabulous place to stay in DC: very quiet and safe area, no night time noise, within 5 minutes of the metro station for a quick same-line journey to the centre, and very clean and comfortable. I loved every minute. The icing on the cake is it's such a great value. Thank you so much, Celia.

Me and my husband had a truly fantastic stay here at the Jewelbox. It is in a very sweet neighborhood that is the perfect walking distance from E-bikes, a park, multiple bus stops, a gas station, and convenience stores. Each one of the hosts on this stay made me feel incredibly comfortable to say if I needed ANYTHING!! They put effort into making it very easy to find where to park, and took previous feedback to make things even better than before. I seriously loved the stay here and WILL BE returning⭐️

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, well-designed, and very comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. The self check-in with a simple access code was super convenient and made everything easy from the start. The location is amazing — close to all the main tourist spots in Washington, DC. We were just minutes away from the National Mall, museums, monuments, and great places to eat. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. The host was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Fast Wi-Fi, comfy beds, and a quiet, safe neighborhood made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting DC and would love to stay again!

Great stay! I enjoyed this place and it was great that it’s next door to chick fil la and a gas station. I know some others have complained about noise from chick fil la, but I didn’t have any issues. Hans was very responsive and allowed me to check in early. Hans was easy to speak with and ensured I felt comfortable in the place. I kept open communication with the Hans and received positive response. Hans was okay with allowing another guest to visit although there’s a strict guest policy. Just be honest and ask first! The unit does have limited space. I thought it would be a bit bigger, but it was enough for a group of 3. Another thing is that there are large high windows that don’t have any coverings which is great lighting, but also lacks privacy. From the street, you could see directly upstairs if the lights are on so be aware of what you’re wearing and doing. (Especially at night) Overall, great stay. I would stay again at one of the higher levels for the views!!

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. Thank you Sean, Megan and Loren for all your helpfulness and a lovely stay!

My husband and I came for the Nationals vs Cubs series and the location couldn’t have been better! The house was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Israel was incredibly responsive and helpful, always quick to answer any questions and made check in and check out smooth and hassle free! You can really tell he cares about his guests’ experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located stay!

Christopher was a great host :) Check-in was super easy, and he was very responsive with any questions we had! Beds were super comfortable, parking was convenient, and super accessible location!
