Beautiful hiking trails and a small supermarket are within walking distance. More shopping opportunities, a crystal thermal bath with brine water and the Leuchtenburg can be reached within 10 minutes by car. The Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Leuchtenburg near Kahla, Jena, Gera, Weimar are not too far away. Here you can hike (the roads are also wheelchair accessible), watch animals or simply relax on the terrace. Infants up to 2 years old and children up to 6 years old are welcome.
