Studio apartment at the foot of Wartburg

Entire, independent studio, 52 square meters, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, market and Luther House 10-15 min., Wartburg: about 35 minutes (forest path), train station: about 15 minutes Hiking: The forest begins right behind the house and many hiking opportunities are in close proximity. I am happy to provide tips and information. The windows of the studio face the courtyard, which is partly green and serves (largely) as a parking lot. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby city center (about 6-10 minutes' walk). The surrounding southern quarter is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and is worth seeing for its many Art Nouveau villas alone. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min.) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio (non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people (1.40 m x 2.00 m) on a comfortable sofa bed. Since inquiries keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Linens, towels and hair dryers are provided. Also of course: rinsing utensils/dish towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests arriving by car have a private parking space right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on Wednesdays, (arrival Wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school holidays. Note: With the exception of Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just let me know your preferred day before arrival.

Holiday Home - right in the middle of Germany

Our house is located in a prime residential area and next to the forest. Everything was renovated and lovingly refurnished in 2023. Parking is available in front of the house. The house sleeps up to 10 people. With the house comes a partly covered terrace and a barbecue. Thüringen is famous for its "best bratwurst in the world" and we want you to enjoy to the max. The City center is a 10 min. walk away and restaurant "Berggarten" in the forest with a nice playground about 20 min.

The Riethmühle is located about 1.5 km downstream of the idyllic village of Laucha. The former 4-sided farmhouse was divided 70 years ago and there are neighbors. For rent is the lovingly renovated mill house with a large plot to get some air, enjoy and recharge. We rent our living space from May - September.....

We (4 adults, 3 kids, 1 dog) had a great stay at Gislinde's. We were received super nicely, everything was super clean and beautifully furnished! The table tennis table was in great demand:) It is perfect for walking behind the house in the field, next to a fascinating playground with extraordinary play equipment! The half-timbered house is definitely highly recommended!

We stayed for a weekend as a family at Frank and Franzi's place. The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated and equipped with everything you might need. Frank responded immediately to questions from us and was able to help us. In general, the hosts were very nice and communicative, so you immediately felt comfortable. The property is ideal for exploring the beautiful area "Drei Gleichen", also the Thuringian Forest and the Hainich National Park. Most of the time you are at the destination within half an hour's drive. We would recommend the place at any time!

The landlady is very friendly. Communication with her was very quick and she was very accommodating. The arrival was very pleasant and a paddling pool and other small items were prepared for our children. The apartment is very clean and very cozy. The rooms are also large. From the small village, you can do a lot. There are plenty of swimming pools. The city of Erfurt, the Inselsberg and the city of Eisenach are also worth a visit. We were there with our 4 children. We are very satisfied.

The apartment is very centrally located, but still is quiet. Shops, restaurants and attractions are within walking distance. The front windows facing the street or sidewalk have sufficient privacy screens and can also be darkened with blinds. The amenities are good, it has everything you need as a family.
