At an altitude of 1,100 m, you can enjoy a refreshing summer in the highland forests of Karuizawa, as well as a quiet, cold winter with heating throughout the house, high thermal insulation and airtightness, making it warm and comfortable indoors, and it can also be used as a base for touring the ski slopes. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!
