Experience authentic farm life in a charming, authentic "hallingstuga" (farmhouse). Here, you can grind coffee beans in an old mill and brew coffee over a wood-fired stove if you like. A refrigerator, a freezer, and a new bathroom are the latest additions. Hallingstugu is located on a working farm with cows, sheep, and free-range chickens. In the outdoor area, there is plenty of space for skiing and sledding. Popular nearby attractions include Nesfjellet Alpine Resort, golf, Nystølkroken Café, Langedrag Nature Park, and an extensive network of cross-country skiing trails. Everything is within a few kilometers by car.

The cabin is located at the foot of Hardangervidda 1030 masl. There is beautiful hiking terrain right outside the cabin door with endless opportunities for nature experiences for small children's feet to experienced mountaineers. Right behind the cabin wall there are cross-country ski trails that can take you far into Hardangervidda or around the nearby area. Uvdal alpine center is only 10 minutes away by car for speed-loving ski enthusiasts. At the same time, Dagali Mountain Park, Dagali experiences and Langedrag Nature Park offer exciting experiences.

At 920 meters above sea level, you will have a fantastic view of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings, and very good sun conditions from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming, and cross-country skiing, as well as mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage of Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk Skisenter is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

A charming cabin with a wood-fired hot tub, rowboat, fire pan, and a large wood-fired sauna with a view. Here you live secluded by Strandafjorden, surrounded by woods and nature – with the feeling of being far away, while Ål town center is only a few minutes away. No electricity or running water, but everything you need for a real, cozy, and atmospheric cottage experience. After a day outside, you can light the wood-burning stove, enjoy a hot tub or take a trip to the sauna with a view of the water.

From our Airbnb you have a short distance to popular attractions such as Norway's longest bike path, Bjørneparken animal park, the Predator Center and many fishing opportunities both in Krøderen and in mountain lakes. You are welcome to stay privately at our home. We give you a simpler alternative. Here there is plenty of room for 2 people. Possibility for 4, but then you will have to sleep in the living room. Older cabin with a unique location by Pålsbufjorden! 20m from the water! The cabin is 73 sqm with 3 bedrooms, of which 2 bedrooms have bunk beds! The cabin has running water and electricity as well as a chemical toilet! There is no dishwasher in the cabin, so you have to do the dishes! Guests must bring their own bed linen and towels! Parking is just outside the cabin wall! Animals are allowed. Free access to boat with 6 hp motor! 10-15 min drive to Langedrag Nature Park!

There are three bedrooms, living room, kitchen, small TV room, bathroom with tiled floor/shower and laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Heating cables in bathroom, laundry room and hallway. Large terrace and fireplace. Wood-fired sauna in a separate annex. Great hiking opportunities all year round. High standard ski slopes. Several trout waters nearby.

Located only 1.5 hours from Oslo Airport, the cabin overlooks the fjord and offers opportunities for golf, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, and spa experiences.

Cosy little cabin

The cabin is very small, but quite comfortable. (Around 10 kvm) The bathroom is separate. Rustic interior. Most suitable for couples and good friends. If you need more space, take a look at the other cabin on our farm, (Cottage anno 1711) Sauna can be rented. 300NOK / 30 Euro per use. If you arrive by train or bus, we can pick you up at the station. For this we will charge 150 NOK / 15 Euro per way.
