Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Tunkhannock Township

Scott’s communication was great. Having a second fridge and a well stocked kitchen was great, and we made good use of the hot tub & fire pit. First night hot water didn’t work, plumber was there to fix w/in 30 mins! Few issues: the house is a bit dingy and needs to be repainted badly. Rather than replace the tile on the shower floor, they decided to paint over the tiles, now the paint is peeling, and it is pretty gross. People used upstairs bathrooms to shower instead. I also heard that multiple people moved to bunk beds because the larger mattresses were so worn in and saggy. I slept in one of the garage bedrooms and the heating panel wouldn’t turn on- I didn’t realize this until our last night since it was a temperate weekend, but I’m sure Scott would’ve sent someone to help. LOTS of checkout instructions, which you hardly ever see nowadays. Sheets felt plasticky and cheap, like 100% polyester. For the price, it’s a fine place, but there were a few issues that could be address

Carey’s place was absolute perfect for a larger group! There are plenty of beds and was roomy enough for all of us to spread out. We enjoyed using the hot tub and game room. The driveway also offers plenty of parking. This location is a very convenient 5 minute drive away from Pocono Raceway as well. Carey was extremely responsive in assisting us with navigating the hot tub settings! Would definitely recommend Carey’s place, especially if traveling with a larger group.

Highly recommend place was nice host help out with stores around the area definitely we’ll be a get away place on our list ..

The house was as pictured. Pretty private , not on top of neighbors. It is in a gated community so that adds its own obstacles but it is to be expected. Central air was nice , pool was refreshing. Everything was clean and orderly.

We had a wonderful week at this Airbnb! The home was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. One of the biggest highlights for our family was that it was pet-friendly—we were so grateful to be able to bring our dogs along for the trip. The outdoor space was perfect for them to explore and relax, and we loved not having to worry about leaving them behind. The location was peaceful but still close enough to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The host was responsive and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone traveling with pets or just looking for a relaxing getaway with family.

I don’t even know where to begin. We have stayed over 75 air bnb’s and this one by far has surpassed our experiences. You do not need to leave the premises at all! We stayed for 2 nights and felt like it was not enough time. Paul and Donna submerged you to total relaxation, party, and fun for every age. My 1 year old had everything she needed and 4 year old loved every activity to the adults having so Much fun! The house is so beautifully decorated inside and out and will be coming back so soon to bring our friends for a parents getaway trip!

Can’t say enough about the place and Adam any questions I had answered right away. Everything was the way it was supposed to be. It’s a beautiful home to stay at with your family or friends. Thanks for having us we look forward to staying again.

Beautiful home and comfortable layout. Had a wonderful stress free time here. Place was spotless. Smelled great. Each room perfect. The host was so nice and very thorough with instructions and answering any of my questions. Although I did not have many because of how well thought out everything was. We had an amazing time. Would definitely come here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Tom's place. Tom was very responsive. When we faced heating issues, he sent a technician the following day. It would be better to update the house rules and instructions by pointing out where the thermostat is upstairs. When we found that the place had no baking sheets, new baking sheets were delivered to the door the next day. Nevertheless, Tom is a great host and this place is great for my family.

Beatriz was a great communicator. We needed another set of towels and they were delivered almost immediately. We had an issue with room temperature and she responded within a few minutes. The apartment was very clean and Beatriz provided many extras such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, snacks, bottled water, coffee, and tea. Even though the house is older, the entire apartment has been remodeled and is attractive. The kitchen stove and refrigerator look new, but if you plan on cooking, the number of pans is limited.There is a private parking space behind the home. There are two other apartments in the building and we could hear the folks walking around upstairs and could sometimes hear conversations from the other apartments. When we arrived, loud music was playing, but it was quiet by 10 pm. Beatriz is an attentive host and the apartment is a good value. I would recommend this listing. Thank you, Beatriz!

We had a great stay in Jim Thorpe at the Cyclist's Suite. Place was very clean and cozy. You were so close to everything we needed, including the finish line to the Jim Thorpe marathon that my husband ran would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Spacious and comfortable apartment right in downtown Lehighton with convenient street parking right out front as well as a dedicated space in the rear lot. Quiet and cozy, was a wonderful respite after spending the day out and about. Great kitchen, great bathroom, a nice setup overall. Just a few minutes from the wonderful Mahoning Drive-In Theater and right by the highway if you want to head to the lovely Jim Thorpe nearby. Had a lovely stay and I would definitely stay here again.

We've rented many places over the years in Jim Thorpe, and this was one of our favorites. The location is perfect for access to downtown. Right across the street from the opera house. Yes, it's noisy on event nights, but hilarious to sit on the patio and watch any drama when the event ends. Parking is across the street right next to the opera house, makes you feel VIP. Helen is a very cool host, we met her when we checked in. You're staying in a place in someone's house, she lives there, we were greeted by her cute kitty. Remember when you were 10 and you visited your grandparent's place? This is that. For an efficiency, the kitchen is magnificent, better than 5 bedroom houses we've rented. We returned from a show at Penn's Peak at 10:30pm only to find our private parking place stolen, Helen had an immediate solution. Sit on the porch with a glass of wine and talk to the tourists. Priceless. 11 out of 10 stars, if you're capable of appreciating the charm.

Loved the place! Just like the pictures. Super responsive host. Even shoveled the deck and stairs for us after a snow storm. Definitely recommend staying here!

Jackie's condo is spacious and welcoming. Beautiful lakefront property, minutes from Big Boulder. Close to all the local restaurants. Layout is larger than it appears on the listing. Felt right at home!

We had a family trip and this place is awesome. It felt like home. Well maintained, clean and organized. Pool access is also good to have and its on the back of property. Overall I can't say how good the place is. Its too awesome.

We truly enjoyed Sharon's place! Its very clean, with great surroundings and so many little thoughtful details. The balcony faces the pool which is very convenient. Rule pools are quite strict ( have to drop off pick up entry bracelets every time, no kids in warm pool/spa). Great restaurants nearby!

Amy has an amazing property. Everything was beautiful, we had plenty of linens. We had a grill night and she had plenty of utensils (cutting board, knives, etc.) so we didn’t have to worry about buying those things, friendly community, steps away from the pool and the lake, I can’t recommend this place enough, thank you Amy!

We really enjoyed our stay at this comfortable and perfectly located condo with a beautiful lake view. It was very roomy with plenty of space for all guests. Joanne was an excellent communicator, proactively providing all of the information we needed for a smooth checkin and seamless experience. We would love to come back in the warm weather and take advantage of the pool and lake. Thanks, Joanne!

Overall we had a lovely stay. Beautiful lakeside views. The home was cozy and clean. A few things- the kitchen did not have basic cooking ingredients, such as cooking oil and pepper. We also only had 2 rolls of toilet paper provided and ran out before the end of our stay. We did not realize from the listing that the lake access would be an extra charge. We assumed staying at the house we would be able to enjoy the lake without an extra fee. It was clear that the kayak/ sport rentals would be an extra charge, but the beach access did not seem to be explicitly stated. Maybe that was our misreading, but just a heads up for anyone else… In addition, the door code provided did not work upon arrival. We had to call and send a picture of our ID in order to get a different code to enter the property.

Great spot right on the lake. Boulder lake is private so not as noisy as Lake Harmony but minutes away. This unit is on the far side so very private, but still a short walk to the pool. The back deck looks directly over the lake and has a grill. The place was very clean and had all the extras we needed to enjoy dinners, games, and some tv. Thanks Eva.

This home was perfect for us. Beautiful location, quiet but right near the pool and hot tub - gorgeous view of the lake. The home is beautifully decorated, was spotless and had great attention to details like coffee pods, tea and water bottles. Plenty of towels, comfortable beds and a large tv in every bedroom. The only downside was we weren’t allowed to use the wood burning fireplace but that is understandable. Maria responded quickly to every message we exchanged. We would love to stay here again.
