Holiday rentals with lake access in Tuscany

We stayed at "laoro" for five days (four nights) and had a very good time. The owners are friendly, they gave us all the useful information for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The place is sheltered and very peaceful. The house is comfortable and clean. We had our large dog with us and we found no difficulty. There is Lake Accesa nearby, very comfortable, but in any case we were not too far from the beaches of Follonica. Great experience.

Lucrezia is a great and accommodating host. Particularly noteworthy is the terrace and the garden of the property.

My wife and I stayed at Silvia's for 8 nights. Like other reviewers, we didn't want to leave. This is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a superb host, comfortable Tuscan-style accommodations, stunning grounds, and breathtaking views. Silvia is warm, caring, helpful, and generous. Her parents are friendly and helpful. Her father presses olive oil from the olives in their olive groves and makes wine with the grapes from their vineyard. They generously shared these delicious gifts from their land with us as well as eggs from their chickens. We also appreciated Silvia and her mom's kindness when they saved our hanging laundry from getting drenched while we were out. We look forward to our next trip to Tuscany and experiencing Silvia's warm hospitality and lovely home again.

We absolutely loved the home and location! There were nine of us and everyone had their own space and bathroom. The home was very clean and decorated beautifully. Amanda was a fabulous host. She was very responsive with all communication and helpful with places to see in the region. The location was excellent for traveling all around Tuscany and it was very peaceful. We can't wait to go back!

We had the pleasure of spending a week in Maria's beautiful house on Lake Vagli. The location right on the reservoir is simply fantastic and offers a breathtaking view. The place is very cozy and well equipped – nothing was missing! The friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts is particularly noteworthy. We were immediately supported with any question or request. We had a great week at Silvia's place. From the first moment we really felt at home. The view from the house of the lake is stunning and the sunsets are magical. The house itself is sincerely equipped with all the comforts. The beds are wonderfully located, the bathrooms are perfect and the kitchen is very extensive. Furthermore, it is also noticeable that everything is really super clean and tidy. A lot of time and effort has been put into having everything perfect. The surroundings are of course magnificent. You have the beautiful lake in your backyard, but you will also be in Tuscany in no time. So there's more than enough to see and do. Silvia is also an incredibly nice and kind host. The communication is very pleasant and fast and she will send a very extensive explanation and tips before your arrival. And if there are any questions in between, she'll be here to help. We hope to be returning one day.

We felt comfortable in the apartment right from the start. There was a lot of space and everything was spotless. From Monto Baducco, excursions to Bologna, Florence, Pisa, etc. were very possible. We can recommend this property with a clear conscience. Many thanks to the landlord.

We had a wonderful two week stay at Salvatores place. The surroundings were amazing, and we appreciated the pool very much (especially the children aged 3 and 6). This is an idyllic and peaceful location. It was easy to get to beautiful small towns and also beaches by car. We went on a day trip to Elba, which was great. There is also an amunsement park only 20 minute drive from the apartment, Cavallino Matto, which the kids loved. We went twice. :) The outdoor area outside the apartment was lovely, and we had most our meals here. Thank you for a wonderful Italian vacation, Salvatore.

Studio apartment with parking and private garden, 5 meters from the lake. It has all the essentials to make you feel at home and also a few more touches such as the drying rack and hair dryer, soaps in the bathroom and kitchen, and not to be overlooked, bottles of water in the fridge. We had a wonderful stay in this apartment! The house is really nice, attention to detail and very welcoming: you immediately feel at ease. We had an amazing stay at Alessandro’s and Sonja’s place. They helped a lot with very good recommendations for local restaurants and things to see and do around. The apartment was very clean and cute, even though it was quite moist probably due to lower temperatures in May. For the summer months we can imagine it it is very cooling and perfect for sleeping. We can highly recommend the Castello and would always come back ☺️

A super apartment in a perfect position within a few minutes of the ferry that operates regularly around the lake and ten minutes walk from the station. Within easy walking distance of some delightful restaurants with excellent menus.

We had a great stay at the Abbey. The natural surroundings are beautiful and it has a spectacular view of the lake. We enjoyed sitting outside under the olive trees and using the bbq area.

This is a magical and extremely romantic place. We stayed at the cottage for three nights and it was a wonderful long weekend. Ideal for couples but also for families since there are many meadows in the surroundings where you can picnic or play with children. Roberto was extremely helpful and kind, most likely we will be back in the future. Highly recommended

This place was everything we wanted and more. SO private (we were aline and no other guests in the big Vila next door). the view is just stunning- waking up to it every day, seeing it from the bedroom and drinking our coffee in this view was magical. arriving there is easy but the oast 5 min drive are in a bit more rocky road- fine for higher cars we arrived when it was fully dark and it was still.fine the pool is amazing we had everything we needed here and likes how it is surrounded by green and really isolated. the communication was easy thank you so.much! I wish we will come back!

We had a beautiful, relaxing stay. We were looking for somewhere off the beaten path to slow down after playing tourist in larger cities - and this was perfect! Still close to drive to places when we had needs. Very friendly hosts with a friendly dog that our daughters loved to play with. Will be recommending this stay!

The Lakehouse is even better than the pictures, it’s a perfect place to relax or as a base to explore the local area. The villa also has kayaks and paddle boards to explore the lake. The hosts David and Chrissie are the most accommodating organised people I have come across on air bnb. I highly recommend.

Fantastic place - 1000 characters are too few to describe everything! The apartments are arranged in a way that no one disturbs each other. All around, there's silence and tranquility. The house is an excellent base for both longer and shorter trips. The pool on hot days allowed us to catch our breath after sightseeing. The kitchen is decently equipped. The hosts are incredibly friendly, and their professionalism is evident. We felt taken care of every day. The complete set of information received before arrival made planning our stay much easier. Plus, we had good ongoing communication. All of Sabina's recommendations were useful for us. If they organize a walk around the area, we definitely recommend participating 😊 Not far from the house is a well-stocked Gala grocery store. In the town of Tavernelle, you can find great ice cream and a pastry shop, and on selected days, you can buy vegetables at the market. After these holidays, Umbria has gained a special place in our hearts.

The cottage is beautiful, we felt comfortable immediately. Everything you need to live was there. The surroundings are enchanting and quiet, perfect for recovering from the stress of everyday life. We will be happy to come back.

Diederik and Martine are very pleasant hosts! No question is too much for them, and you will get an answer very quickly. The cottage is located in a nature reserve where it is quiet and peaceful. Those who would like to visit cafes or bars in the evening should take the car, because there is little to do in the immediate vicinity. However, you can drive up the mountain a little higher and eat something good at La Baita di Montarale. The Italian operators are perfectly friendly. Recommended! In the house, all comforts are available: gas fire,dishwasher,fridge with freezer compartment, shower,bath,bedding,even soap and shampoo! Outside you can use the BBQ, the cozy seating area and not to forget the swimming pool. Someone comes by weekly for maintenance. Nature reserve, so also a lot of animals and critters (insects). Every day we spotted scorpions (which also sometimes appeared indoors) which was a bit of a shock at first but eventually we got used to it...they are harmless and useful. We have definitely enjoyed our holiday in Casa Lavanda!!
