Barn accommodation in Tuscany

I chose this Tuscan cottage together with my husband because we were looking for a quiet and peaceful place to spend a few days and we had a great time at Letizia's and felt at home. The area offers some walks in the woods, but a 10-minute drive away there is more movement in the city of Siena. In the evening, we were also able to attend a show that was nothing short of magical: his olive grove filled with fireflies! Exciting. To complete the whole Asia, Letizia's dog, sociable, good and sweet. Letizia was always available, polite and precise in providing information. His house is clean and tidy. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in easy. Great location—close to everything we needed, but still quiet at night. No air conditioning but the ceiling fan and windows open did the trick. Very safe and family feel. They do not speak English but it didn't cause any problems.

Marta is a wonderful host and the place is a lovely hideaway. If you like hikes, the place is conveniently close to the famous via Francigenia.

Peaceful and serene place. Very high quality apartments and swimming pool area. The pool was very clean - taken care of every morning. The hosts are very warm and polite.

Lucia's accommodation is a dream for all those seeking peace in the midst of nature. You are surrounded by the forest, a magnificent starry sky and countless fireflies (at least in early June we were lucky). You can hear a stream rushing and countless birds chirping, now and then a wild boar grunts in the distance and various cats keep popping by. The accommodation is very tastefully decorated and Lucia is incredibly warm. The approach is significantly less dramatic than it seems at first glance. Absolutely recommended!

Beautiful place, we were very happy and had a peaceful 3 nights here. Hosts were very responsive and lovely. There wasn’t a microwave which made cooking quite difficult but other than that we were very happy.

We stayed at an equestrian competition for my daughter. Great location for getting to the race club. The property is nothing short of perfect. The garden is extremely manicured with lavender and rose rosemary bushes and is surrounded by orchards that produce apples and peaches. The apartments are clean, the fragrant sheets feel like you're at home. We were welcomed by Luca, who with great kindness was present for our every request throughout the stay . We ate at the restaurant of the property managed by him and you can eat great!!! Great both the first and the second with proposals even off the menu. In short, the stay was perfect !!! It will be our point of reference whenever we return to the area. Thank you Luca.

The property was comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. The owners of the property , Claudio and Angelica, are helpful and delightful. However, the “host” BoMVillas , who acts as a middleman, was rude and disrespectful when we had a miscommunication. I would not make another booking that was offered by BoMVillas.

It was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. The house is private, very cozy, and has everything you need. The location is perfect for exploring Umbria. Gabriele gave us a lot of recommendations for restaurants around the place, and those we visited were amazing. We would love to come back one day!

Loriana’s place was impeccable. Everything as described - comfortable space, wonderful outdoor area and in a great location. But what makes it the most magical are the hosts - they are hospitable, knowledgeable of the area and make you feel part of their famiglia instantly. My daughters left calling Loriana Nonna Lori. Can’t wait to return.

Highly Recommend. Bianca and her husband (and spaniel dog called pearla) were Excellent Hosts and the House was situated in the best area in Tuscany, 20 min away from the centre of Florence, yet embedded in a picturesque panoramic view. Bianca also was very helpful with local guides, trips to the town and city centre; very friendly and warm host. The surroundings and nature was amazing, you will be able to see deers, rabbits, horses, wild pigs and more. The house itself is beautiful and Bianca has 4 amazing unique suits to choose from. We were also lucky to use the pool that looks over the fields. Definitely will return.

Tommaso and Marta are wonderful hosts. We were greeted with homemade cakes and bread. There is a spa area, we used the pool a few times. A highlight for our daughter was the visit to the fattoria, which we highly recommend for families with children. Tommaso even installed a child seat for the e-bikes. It was wonderful. We recommend it!

Unfortunately our stay was pretty short (2 nights only), but we loved it a lot and will definitely be back in the future. The house is on a beautiful ground with lots of vegetation and is handled by a caring owner. Inside it looked clean and everything needed was available. Can only recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at the wonderful Meriggio Barn. The photos don’t do this gorgeous property justice! The house itself is beautiful, classically decorated and expansive space and very well equipped kitchen. All three bedrooms were a great size and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool . The house is set within beautiful rolling Tuscan hills with great views all around, enabling us to enjoy stunning sunsets every evening. The infinity pool was absolutely fantastic - a lot bigger than we expected and we had lots of fun relaxing and keeping cool in the water. The location is great - 40 mins to Pisa and the same for Florence, so we enjoyed visiting those cities as well as getting the train from Florence to Rome. Elisa and the owner Adolfo were perfect hosts, helping us swiftly with any questions we had or recommendations required (the tip to drive and park at the tram stop was perfect, as well as the recommendations for the best local pizza!). As soon as you get out of the car we smelled jasmine. The grounds are so well attended to. Beautiful roses, rosemary bushes everywhere! The pool is much larger than the pictures appear. The views are incredible!! It was the perfect place for us and our adult children with significant others. Our daughters boyfriends family joined us from Great Britain and our other daughter got engaged during our vacation in the backyard of the villa at twighlight. We will never forget this place and the very many memories that it provided. The villa was so comfortable with all the amenities. We were cooking outside and relaxing by the pool daily. Giulia provided a special wine tasting recommendation day of arrival and we also enjoyed our favorite wine tasting right down the road at Corbucci. Do not miss this whatever you do!! Cannot say enough about how great this little gem is- great location for outdoor activities and stunning beautiful scenery. Very quiet on the top of this hillside Road… With lemon trees in an olive Grove how much better can it get! You can see the town of Vinci and way beyond from this height. The hosts could not have been any more kind and generous with their time and suggestions. Simply a wonderful Airbnb!

Very nice accommodation! Quiet idyllic location, but still easily accessible. Very nice pool! Maria was a super friendly and communicative host!

Donata is a great person very friendly and speaks english fluently. her place is up at a mountain with lots of green ,trees and mountains. when we got there she had made us homemade bread , cake , cookies, yogurt milk, espresso machine for us ready for the next morning. . The only problem is that you need to drive a car there and not to be afraid to drive in tiny roads .

We stayed here over the Christmas holidays and enjoyed our stay, the large living and dining area is very cozy and the fireplace has created a wonderful winter atmosphere. The amenities of the bathrooms, the rooms and the kitchen are wonderful, modern and stylish. The house is ideal for larger groups, with no one having to give up a retreat. The location is very quiet and the view of the surrounding hills magnificent. At the same time, the house is strategically located and within an hour you will find great excursion destinations (Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Montepulciano...). Our host was always available and we were warmly welcomed. We will be happy to come back!

We had such an amazing time! Such a calm and serene atmosphere! The place is quiet far off the main road and in the woods. Nonetheless it is not far from beautiful cities which make great day trips. It is also the perfect place to just relax, enjoying the sun and lay by the pool. The view is astounding and the staff was very nice and helpful. There is also a restaurant that serves food, which was very tasty! Would visit again for sure :)

The house and the entire complex were beautiful. The furnishings were of very high quality, the beds were excellent. Since we unfortunately had a lot of bad luck with the weather, we/our children were very happy about the hot tub. Especially suitable for guests with dogs. The contact with Daniela was great and her father was also very helpful and very likeable. Thanks for everything
