The local area offers nice hiking areas, such as Hest and Himakånå. It is possible to take a day trip to Preikestolen and Stavanger. The climbing park Høyt og Lavt is 15 min by car from the cabin. There are good fishing opportunities from land and by boat. Boats can be rented from May to September, and two kayaks in the summer. Animals are not allowed. Cozy cabin by the fjord. And associated tool house with possibility for storage and firewood available for heating.

The living room window has a great lake view. Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 has 3 beds: 1 bunk bed and 1 cot with a length of 150 cm. Please be aware of grazing animals outside the property. Free parking is about 150m from the cabin, to get up you have to walk a steep climb. A suitcase is not recommended as there is a gravel road.

Liten båt tilgjengelig fra 1. juni til starten på september 25 min til shoppingområde (Raglamyr) og 25 min til Haugesund med gågate, butikker og restauranter. 20 min til det flotte turområdet rundt Eivindsvatnet. 1,5 timer til Stavanger, 2 t og 45 min til Bergen, 1 t med bil og 1 t gange til fjelltoppen Himakånå i Nedstrand, 30 min til Åkrasanden (badestrand ved havet)

There is a fire pit on the terrace and a barbecue available. Short distance to the popular trip to Himkånå, Nedstrand and the locks in Skjoldastrømmen.
