Experience the great view from the accommodation and enjoy the tranquility of your own private beach. Take a swim in the fjord, paddle out to the nearest island 15 min by canoe. Private beach, with canoes, swimming and fishing. Walking distance 15 min on footpath to grocery store. Short distance to many great hiking areas. Odda and Trolltunga are 1 hour and 45 min away by car. Nedstrand with beautiful mountains 40 min by car. Local mountains 3 min drive away. You live in the middle between Stavanger 1 hour and 30 min and Bergen 2 hours and 30 min.

Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with the possibility of several activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater locks are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach at Notaflåt is centrally located and provides bathing opportunities on a nice summer day. Straumen school is also nearby. Here the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand, you will find the well-known Himakånå. "Straumen er Draumen"

Slapp av sammen med familie/venner i idylliske omgivelser Med utsikt til ett lite tjern, sauer på markene og nydelig fuglesang er dette ett sted hvor man finner fred og ro. Her er det rikelig plass til lek,bålkos og grill. Det er gode solplasser rundt hele hytten. 15-30 min med bil til alle atractioner på Haugalandet. For å unngå ekstra gebyrer har vi valgt å inkludere alt i døgnprisen. Til gjengjeld ber vi gjester om å rydde og gjøre enkel utvask før avreise (se detaljer under husregler).

Lovely cottage right by the lake in tranquil surroundings. Here you can relax and enjoy the days with lake views and nature outside the doors. Go to the lake to take a swim, jump from the jetty, go for a walk in the woods, pick berries, or relax on the large terrace. On stormy days you can light the fireplace and enjoy watching the lake. There is a fire pit on the terrace and a barbecue available. Short distance to the popular trip to Himkånå, Nedstrand and the locks in Skjoldastrømmen.

Cabin in Nedstrand with a view of Hervikfjorden and Borgøy. The cabin has a living room with dining table, two bedrooms and an annex. Plenty of parking space. The cabin is located in a sunny location, approx. 45 minutes drive from Haugesund. It is walking distance down to the lake with its own jetty and boathouse. Boat with engine can be rented for an additional fee. Many opportunities for trips nearby.

Enjoy peace and quiet by the fjord, make dinner on the jetty and enjoy long evenings in the sun. Bus stop 3 min from the boathouse. There is a night bus to and from Haugesund city center on weekends. Walking distance to Spar and Coop Extra store, hairdresser and 2 street kitchens. 5 min by car to Aksdal shopping center, 10 min to Raglamyr with Amanda center and various other stores. 15 min to Haugesund city center with various facilities. The cabin is located close to the river, with a great outdoor area, outdoor fireplace and a simple charcoal grill. It is very centrally located with a short walking distance to the store, playground, sandy beach, dining areas and great hiking areas. In summer we have SUP boards available for guests.
