We (2 adults and 2 small children) had a wonderful weekend in the cottage. It is a spacious house with a large garden. In the garden there was a trampoline and that was according to my children the most beautiful of the weekend. The cottage has everything you'll need such as washer and dryer and a nice fireplace. It was also very nice that things like tea, coffee, hand soap and baking paper were present. The area is beautiful. We will definitely come back again.

Very friendly reception. Cozy house with perfection sun location on the water. Swimming from the house. Cozy garden, nicely maintained. In short: we felt at home immediately. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful week on Ameland and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere on a Wadden Island. The house was cozily furnished and equipped with all comforts. Ballum is a beautiful and quiet place with nice restaurants and a neighborhood supermarket. Great place to discover the whole island by bike.

We felt very comfortable in the small house right on the water. The IJsselmeer was a 5-minute walk away and you could relax there on a small, clean and beautiful stretch of beach and watch kite surfers. The little house was exactly as shown in the pictures, it was pleasantly quiet and we lacked nothing. Communication was also super easy and impeccable. We had a great time and would always love to come back!

Frans and Marian's house was perfect for the 3 of us. We felt comfortable and relaxed. All the convenience of home. Walking distance to a couple of stores but a little hike to the center of Assen. Very easy, drivable access to many places in Drenthe, Groningen and Friesland.

A loving and well-furnished house. Flooded with light. New, very beautiful garden. The communication with Claartje was perfect, requests were responded to. Be sure to rent a boat in the harbor next door! Fantastically beautiful surroundings with interesting cities. Thanks also to the cleaning staff!

Nice church, very nice place to have our annual weekend. Plenty of cutlery, plates and pans available, which is always extra nice. Especially if you are with a large group. Recommended!

We had three wonderful days with three generations of family. Also for seven people and dog the house was more than generous. But the most beautiful thing was the garden, you just have to go to relax there. Thank you!

We stayed at Annette‘s place for a long weekend with a with friends and their kids. We were 10 in total with 6 kids between 5 and 14 years old. The house with the spacious garden instantly captured the kids and us parents could start the relaxing weekend from the get go. The beautiful surroundings are great for walking, running, cycling or boating. Located within a nature reserve, there is plenty of outdoor activities to be had. We had a great time and are contemplating of going there again in the future!

Zilverduin is a beautiful house! The location was our favourite feature; within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Leonie was great with giving us tips about the area and things that were handy like rental bikes which got delivered straight to the house - what a luxury! A few things I would have liked to see though, would be: something to handle the mosquitos in the house and higher quality bedding items (the crib for the baby was below expectations for a house at this price point, as were the pillows). Other than that, the host was easy to reach. There is also a caretaker nearby to speak to incase of any emergency. The host also was kind enough to let us check in early and change our dates last minute all to accommodate our ferry times (which I highly suggest booking WELL in advance, ie weeks, if not months!). She also allowed my friends to bring their service dog even though we notified her late. All in all, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay with two families and our kids!

It was a great weekend at the property. There was practically nothing that was not on site. From a great kitchen equipment, to many clean bathrooms to the boat in front of the house. We were able to enjoy the time carefree and never felt that something was missing. Glad to come back !

The accommodation is in a great location and offers a tranquility that is second to none. Really excellent for a secluded short break! We booked the accommodation spontaneously for one night, as our actual accommodation was overbooked. The owners responded incredibly quickly after we were able to contact them through the neighbors. Without her intervention, we would not have known where to find accommodation that evening. So we still had a nice family vacation. Thank you and best regards!

We had a nice weekend with the whole family in the villa (8 adults & 5 children) The house is very nicely furnished and offers plenty of space to play and romp. The path to the beach leads through a beautiful forest. The communication between the host and us was flawless. If you had any questions, you would receive a response within a few minutes. We will be happy to come back.

This was a great place for us -- we stayed here with some family, 5 adults in total. The location is ideal (short walk to beach, short bike ride to town, close to bike trails to all of the island). We loved the well-equipped kitchen and enjoyed having breakfast on the patio. It's pricey, but worth it if you can afford it.

A lovely quiet place. Spacious garden, beautiful views. The house is cozy, cozy and has all the comforts. Within fifteen minutes you are in beautiful forest areas where you can walk endlessly. Also a great place for cycling enthusiasts.

Stayed in this cottage for the 3rd time. Nice place and nice contact with the owner.

We were traveling with two families (4 adults and three kids). The house has enough space. Check-in and checkout was very straightforward and personal. We had a small issue and got a response and resolved it right after getting in touch. The equipment of the house is simple and without much decoration/coziness but sufficient. The kitchen in turn was well equipped (toaster, gas stove, good microwave, pots of different sizes). Children's equipment (stair gates upstairs, high chair and crib) are available and sun loungers were brought to us. The garden is huge and has plenty of space for the children to play. Location is quiet in the middle of a holiday park. The pool was still empty at the end of April/early May. Although the weather was only warm during the day, the house was very heated and it is very clairaudient. We had a good time and can recommend the stay!

We really enjoyed the house, beautiful garden, chill space and swimming pool. Except that it is very nicely decorated, it is also very complete. Bart is very friendly and responded incredibly quickly with a question from us. Even though we were only there for a long weekend, it really felt like a vacation.

The cottage is in a very beautiful park with a good restaurant and nice staff. The area is very green and you can enjoy walking in the adjacent forest. For smaller children, it is also fun, all kinds of activities are organized. The house has all the comforts. You can cook yourself, do the laundry, there is a dishwasher and the shower is fine. And my son slept right in the bed 😊 Definitely worth it and also worth repeating.

We were about 14 people in the house and had a great time. The house was tidy and everything was new and equipped. The pool the sauna and hot tub were great as well. The living room was cozy and decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped. The only criticism is that basic things in the kitchen today are missing: coffee, tea, pepper salt. We also had to buy toilet papers because there were not enough. On top of that, we really enjoyed the house and the hosts.
