To relax, there is a 3-person massage Jacuzzi under the veranda. The deposit for our house is €250. The area is ideal for peace seekers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. In our beautiful fenced private garden, you will enjoy the many bird species.

Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment (45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Through the landing, you enter your own bathroom with sinks, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons, there is a second living/bedroom in the apartment available (25 m2 extra) Pets are allowed only after consultation.

The Landscape

With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Guesthouse 't Voorhuis

Wonderful vacation in the wooded Drenthe? Come and spend the night in Zeijen! Our small B&B is located in our farmhouse. It consists of a living room, 1 small bedroom with a lovely double bed and a private brand new bathroom with shower/toilet. If you bring bicycles with you, they can be stored in the garage. Breakfast for 1 person €12.50 Breakfast for 2 people €20 The accommodation is equipped with TV, a minibar and free Wi-Fi. There is the opportunity to make coffee and tea.

In 2024, this estate was transferred from a centuries-old family tradition to the Drenths landscape. Partly to preserve the estate, it was decided to partially convert it into an attractive B&B. Come and stay with the friendly hostess who will welcome you and make your stay as comfortable as possible.

You may use our large nature garden behind the house. It's lovely to sit by the pond with the storks in the background.
