The newly furnished apartment in 2024 in a quiet location on the edge of the village/forest in Obermettingen can accommodate up to 8 people (5 adults comfortably/4 adults and 4 children easily possible). Enjoy the tranquility, fresh air and nature, surrounded by streams, valleys, meadows, forests and lakes, here in the southern Black Forest. Perfect starting point for day trips to the Black Forest, for example Schluchsee, Titisee, Feldberg, Wutachschlucht as well as to Switzerland to the Rhine Falls.

House on the Albsteig - apartment with garden

Approx. 85 m² apartment, completely refurnished and renovated in 2020. The second bed is a folding bed that can be placed in the bedroom or living room. Directly in front of the living room there is a terrace, in addition a large garden can also be used. Directly on the hiking trail "Albsteig". Schluchsee, Titisee and Feldberg about 30-40 km away, border crossing to Switzerland about 7 km. Own car required, as there is no shopping facility in the village (about 4 km away).

The Artist‘s Castle: History, Art and Spirit

Do you love art and history? Do you think about the Romans every day? My 400-year-old house, built on the foundation of a Roman tower, was once part of a castle and is full of history, books, art, music, inspiration and love. Welcome to "The Artist's Castle," my Schloss Kunterbunt. This is where history meets good vibes. Breathe, be you. You want to create? The studio and workshop are waiting for you. Overlooking the river in my historic oasis in medieval Eglisau.

The Alte Tischlerei is an individual apartment (approx. 70 square meters of living space) for nature lovers, individualists, cooking enthusiasts, dog lovers or... It is equipped with a built-in kitchen, 80 cm induction range, convection oven and steam cooker, fridge/freezer and bathroom with very large shower and separate toilet. The area is open plan, so there is no enclosed bedroom. Outside there is a private garden with seating, barbecue and fencing.

Spacious, rural and close to the airport

​Located in rural Hochfelden, you can reach Zurich Airport in 15 minutes by car and the city in 40 minutes. Alternatively, a bus runs regularly to the Bülach train station. From there, there are direct connections to Zurich and to the airport (about 45 minutes travel time). For more comfortable travel to and from the property, I also offer a paid shuttle service to Zurich Airport and the city.
