Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in University City, Philadelphia

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spot to spend our weekend while visiting family! We first met Dona sitting amongst the ghouls and goblins handing out Halloween candy to the neighborhood kids! We knew immediately we had found the perfect spot to stay and will definitely be back next time visiting our family. If you are heading to Media at Halloween you are in for a real treat of family, friends and neighbors celebrating one of the Best holidays ever!

Brittanis place is charming, beautiful and functional. It was really perfect for 3 couples with kids. It is a beautifully renovated and redecorated unit in a neighborhood going through mayor gentrification. In a few years I imagine the whole area will follow suit as this building and a few next door are renovated to be truly homey and beautiful. Though the neighborhood is still on the works, we were still comfortable walking to the park which is great with all new playground. The home was clean and neat, nice kitchen, living room and family room in addition to the bedrooms a d baths. Also no problem finding parking right in front of the unit.

Awesome spot right in the heart of Philly! The location couldn’t have been better; everything was walkable and super convenient. The place itself was modern, stylish, and had a really cool vibe. You can tell the space was thoughtfully designed with both comfort and aesthetics in mind. Perfect for anyone looking to explore the city while enjoying a sleek and comfortable home base. Would definitely stay here again!

The Airbnb was beautiful, exactly as described and my stay was peaceful. The outdoor lounge in the middle is a great spot to hang outside. The host was extremely responsive and very helpful with any questions I had. I would highly recommend this Airbnb overall!!

The place was very nice and clean and looked the same as is shown in the listing. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. However, the place is located in an ideal location to go to Philly or to go explore the local area. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

We had a great stay at Noemi’s place. Check-in was easy and she was responsive any time we reached out. Would stay here again in the future!

Our space was comfortable, clean, and spacious enough for our baby and dog. Check-in was simple with very kind attendants at the front desk. We only had a brief incident with a leak in our kitchen, but it was quickly solved by that afternoon.

Angel was an Angel🤷‍♂️ She was very informative of all the amenities that were available @ the condo both inside and outside. She offered up more than we could have used considering we were only there for one night. If we return to Philly we’d definitely stay again. Thank you Angel

Jodatur’s place was just as pictured and described, with added touches such as snacks and beverages. Beds, linens, and shower products were all top notch. The garage parking was super safe and convenient! A great option for events in Camden or Collingswood!

When booking via AirBnB, honestly I’m always underwhelmed when it comes to the property. It almost always never looks like the pics listed on the site. That said, Archway completely exceeded my expectations. The team was so responsive to every question I had, the place was absolutely beautiful and the access to the home was easy peasy! It will definitely be our go to place every time we visit Philly! Can’t wait until they expand to other cities.

A truly exceptional stay! The Elegant Chateau in Philadelphia was absolutely stunning—spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need (even things you wouldn’t think of!). It’s the perfect space for entertaining while still allowing for privacy and comfort. One of the highlights for me was knowing it’s Black-owned, which made supporting this stay even more meaningful. I was proud to host family here. Whether you’re visiting during warm or cold months, the property is ready—swimming and grilling in the summer, cozy and well-equipped in cooler weather. The host was incredibly responsive and made everything seamless from start to finish. Only word of advice: keep your trash secured—there are some bold raccoons who like to make evening appearances, but they didn’t take away from an otherwise perfect experience. I’ve already recommended this gem to others and will definitely be returning myself. Highly recommend!

Impeccably clean and well-appointed. Perfect for our trip to visit family close by. Close to churches, food, and shopping — whatever you need. Great neighborhood to walk and enjoy the area.

It’s in a nice area. If you’re driving, parking is good. If not, the local amenities are only a 5 minute walk away. The house itself was clean, tidy and everything you would want. Chris and his very friendly dog Zeus were excellent hosts. When I need to come back to this area, staying at Chris’s will be my 1st choice. Very Highly recommended!!

Exceptional Hosts!!! George & Nicky gets the highest possible rating from me and my family. They were great hosts who did everything they could to ensure that my family’s needs were met. Their home made us feel as if we were actually in our home for the short time we were there. It was easy to find, very clean, safe and spacious. The pictures honestly downplay how nice and comfortable their place actually is. This place, or any other that George and Nicky may have available will certainly be top of my list whenever I need accommodation in Philadelphia again.

Robert's place was expertly appointed. Kicked myself for spending on forgotten items, when I looked around everything was there! The space was pristine and Robert supplied recommendations and directions for everything we needed/wanted.
