We had a great stay at this home and really appreciated how communicative the host was-always quick to respond to any questions. The home felt very “lived in,” which we actually appreciated for a kid-friendly stay. The photos were accurate overall, though the exterior was more overgrown than expected and the trampoline looked a bit “play at your own risk.” That said, our kids had an amazing time with the seemingly endless toys, and it was a huge relief not having to bring bulky items like a stroller or a Pack ‘n Play, since they’re here. The beds were very comfortable, the A/C kept us cool during a hot Austin weekend, and having a good washer/dryer made life easier. The location is definitely a strong point—easy access to some great local spots, including Launderette and Bufalina, both of which we’d highly recommend. Check-out was simple. Our only real suggestion would be a deeper cleaning refresh to match the overall comfort and utility. This place is equipped for families!

Beautiful getaway close to the city! Loved all the plants inside , definitely gave it a relaxing vibe! Backyard was up-kept fantastic for pups!

Lee was very accommodating for our stay. The beds were so comfortable and the house had everything we needed. Also loved the area of town it was in - close to walking trails and lots of fun things to do. We will be back!

This really neat place was great for a family of four! We were able to settle and rest between fun Austin events. The location provides easy access to downtown and cool east Austin spots. Everything was stocked, maintained and as advertised. The massive tree outside covers 4 different yards! Meg was quick to respond during booking and checkout. Recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay over the weekend! The home is thoughtfully furnished and decorated. The landscaping was lovely — definitely a backyard you want to hang out in! We felt right at home here. Really appreciate the little amenities in the bathrooms too! Thanks so much.

Great value in an excellent location. Check in was a bit tricky. Complex is like a maze but the screenshots provided during checkin with directions was helpful. We did get lost leaving the unit a couple times but after some time you get acclimated to the area. Never used our vehicle as there was tons to do in walking distance of the unit.

Phenomenal backyard complete with a cowboy pool and lots of seating. The location and decor were great as well. We will definitely be back.

My stay at The Overlook was very relaxing and peaceful. The house is stocked with all the amenities needed to feel like a home away from home. I loved the gourmet kitchen. The appliances and gadgets are all top quality. I loved the fancy coffee maker and there is also a beautiful espresso maker if you’re into that. The hosts made it easy by providing ground coffee in the fridge as well as creamer! The upstairs bathroom has a beautiful shower and is fully equipped with everything you need. The bed I slept in was comfortable and the linens spotless. The decor is tasteful with a fun Austin/Texas theme. The yard is fenced and private. This house is the perfect place to stay if you want to be near all that Austin has to offer but also want to have a comfortable home-base to come back to and recharge your batteries!

We loved this cute little house in Austin! It was so comfortable and cozy. The location is great and central to everything and even though it’s close to the highway we barely heard any traffic noise. Jennifer is a fantastic host and was so responsive to any question that I had. She went above and beyond to fix an AC issue and make sure we were comfortable. Absolutely would stay again!

Great location! Some great local spots within walking distance: Amy's Ice Cream,Honey Moon Spirit Lounge, Food heads, Civil Goat and Central Market, to name a few. Central Market is technically a grocery store but It is also a great coffee shop, gelato shop, Cafe, flower shop, bakery, and night life spot with bands on weekends. Great spot to grab a gourmet bottle of wine to take on the patio to listen to music. Highlights of stay: Bed was super comfortable, numbered parking spot right in front and easy to get into, all appliances easy to use and high quality and fluffy towels.

We enjoyed our stay! The place was nice and clean, host was very responsive throughout. There were good restaurants around and everything was a short distance away.

Anish was amazing. We stayed here for 4 months while my wife finished her degree in Ut. We loved the area, the homey feel of anish’s home and how quick Anish was to respond to any of our questions. Would stay again!
