The nearest town of Bad Neustadt is about 6 km away. Enjoy the tranquility of country life without having to sacrifice modern comforts.

Über schöne Wanderwege kommt man zu Schloss Aschach. Die schöne Rhön lädt zu diversen Unternehmungen ein. Hier z. B. Wasserkuppe mit Sommerrodelbahn, Kreuzberg usw. Ostheim liegt am Fuße des vulkanischen Mittelgebirges und Biosphärenreservats Rhön, im 3-Ländereck Bayern, Hessen, Thüringen mit herrlichen Wander- und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Der Sternenpark Rhön lockt mit Führungen zum spektakulären Sternenzelt.

Pure nature! The idyllic town of Bischofsheim is located directly on the Lower Franconian biosphere reserve Rhön at the foot of the Kreuzberg. Adjacent to fields and meadows is our vacation home, which invites you to relaxing days or active hiking, mountain biking, skiing days. With a magnificent view of Finkelberg and Kreuzberg, you can relax. A special highlight is the large family bed in which the whole family has enough space.

Rhöner half-timbered house with special charm

The old half-timbered house is located in the middle of a small village in the Bavarian Rhön Biosphere Reserve. It will be occupied by you alone during your stay. It can accommodate 4 adults if 2 bedrooms are sufficient. However, there is still a single mattress in the living room. 1-2 dogs are allowed. Bicycles or motorcycles can be stored in the barn.

Cozy 1-room apartment

Kick back and relax in your quiet, stylish accommodation overlooking the countryside. Your accommodation is located approx. 5 minutes' walk from Leopoldina Hospital and approx. 20 minutes walk to downtown. In the immediate vicinity there is a bakery, a butcher, a deli and a pharmacy. The nearby wildlife park invites you to take leisurely walks.

Vacation home with sauna

We moved from the city to an old farm in 2016 and live here together with our dog Dago and three cats in the middle of Schwarzenfels, a municipality of the city of Sinntal, below the beautiful Schwarzenfels Castle. We are gradually renovating the farm. In 2020, our "vacation home" project was completed and we are looking forward to our guests.
