Farmstay holiday rentals in Upper Bavaria

Good morning, congratulations to Axel & Katrin on their place, exactly as described, completely renovated and with new furnishings. We used it for a work stay but the location is very convenient to visit Munich and surroundings. I highly recommend it.

I would highly recommend this place! Really perfect as a group trip. The place is very lovingly decorated and contains everything that is needed! We especially loved the warm barrel!

We had very nice and welcome days at the farm of Brigitte & family. The apartment in the attic is larger than it looks in the pictures, is very clean and offers everything you need for a cozy stay. The location is great in itself, in a quiet side street and you can reach everything in Bernau on foot and relaxed. But you also have to know that you can hear the highway at night; not extremely, but it is there. :-) We will still be happy to come back!

Romy and Franz are magnificent hosts. Our family was warmly welcomed and we were allowed to become part of the farm. The apartment is sufficiently large and has a washing machine, which is great for longer stays. We were completely satisfied and will come back when we find ourselves in the Alps.

Stunning location and beautiful house and space. Car parking. Excellent hosts, especially as we had a flight delay. The views and mountainous countryside were vast. Easy access to Salzburg and Berchtesgaden areas. Ensure familiarity with garbage requirements and tourist tax payments. Be aware of access should heavy snow fall. Need a 4x4 car at least. Would highly recommend overall, as this is a unique place in an amazing location. Thank you Nina and Alexander.

We had a really good time in the small rustic cottage. Just the thing if you want to get away from everyday life and all the digital stuff! Having breakfast in peace and with a view of the greenery on the balcony was an absolute highlight, which could be enjoyed even in the rain. Daniela and her husband were also absolutely friendly, always helpful and quick to respond when there was a question. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of and can recommend the small hut as a good hiking base 😊

We were 2 married couples and wanted to go hiking. There are many beautiful hiking trails in the area. Calimoto helped with that. A good restaurant can be reached on foot in a few minutes. We also liked to use the sauna in the garden. It's quiet at night. Next year we will come back and bring our bikes. In the evening, we could also play games at the large dining table. We were able to watch the last match of the Bundesliga on the large TV. Dunja gave tips on request and is very friendly. Regards, Johannes

Oimfeeling is in the countryside, very quiet, a little off the beaten path. Very cozy and nice apartment in the basement of a small farmhouse. Cindy and Andi live next door. A garage next door can be used to park the bikes and use garden chairs etc. from them. We've been to the area several times and know something. We rented Oimfeeling for the first time and can definitely recommend it.

Our stay at George's Tiny House was like a little vacation. It is located on a farm where there is also a small café, a sauna and various animals. You could also get farm milk directly from the farmer. The sauna is much bigger and nicer than in the picture. I can highly recommend the place, with children the stay is certainly also very nice!

We had very nice days in Christa's apartment! The apartment is clean, has everything you need, a beautiful garden and a fantastic view of the mountains from the living room. There is a lot to discover in the area and you can also hike directly from the farm. Christa and her family are really child-friendly, very nice and helpful. Thank you again!

Just the thing for what we were looking for - a weekend break. The bright, cozy room with the great view. Despite proximity to the main house, you are very much on your own and the hosts respect your privacy. If we needed anything, they were quick to reach and always friendly and helpful. Equipment absolutely sufficient. The only thing we forgot was salt & oil for cooking. All in all, highly recommended 🧡

We had a very pleasant stay with Alexandra. The apartment is well equipped, spacious and ideal for families. The area is quiet and offers many opportunities for walking and exploring - many beautiful excursion destinations can be reached in 30-45 minutes. Overall, a relaxed and restful stay. Thank you!

Our stay at the Tiny Hause was amazing. Communication with Susanne has always been excellent and she has always been very flexible. The Tiny Hause has everything needed, is super well equipped and very nice. The place where it is located is idyllic. I would always come back:) Thank you.

An all-round successful stay – highly recommended! We were able to spend some relaxing days in the apartment in Kaltental and are completely thrilled. The quiet location in the middle of the beautiful nature of Bavaria was ideal for switching off and taking a deep breath. Exactly what we were looking for. The animals and the farm particularly pleased our children. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating – always helpful. You can feel that they are passionate about what they do and want to make their guests have a pleasant time. This appreciative attitude made our stay special. Thank you for that! The apartment was very well maintained, clean and lovingly furnished – you immediately feel comfortable. Everything that is needed is available. We found and booked the troll cottage very spontaneously and had a super nice time. The house is well worked and really cozy, especially before falling asleep. Reduced to the essentials, but equipped with all necessities, it is perfect for getting down and taking a break. The large garden and yard area is perfect for children, for playing, alone or with the cats and farm dog. House and furnishings were as described. We will definitely come a second time and will be happy to recommend the drum house as a secret tip to friends and acquaintances!

Don't hesitate to book this place! We had a relaxing, very comfortable stay. Birgit was an exceptional host; friendly and accommodating, she responded to our every question and went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to fix some of our own food and we have never slept on a more comfortable sofa bed! (We were a party of 4.) Last, but certainly not least, was the majestic view! The mountain view is even better in person AND there is a waterfall view from the other end of the apartment that was a pleasant surprise upon our arrival! If we ever have the privilege of returning to the area, we would 100% book this stay again!

The check-in went super smoothly, we were received super nice. The furnishings of the apartment were to our complete satisfaction, the fireplace was our highlight.

Nice place to stay on the farm. Our children loved the chickens and cows. Pure relaxation.

That was an all-around successful vacation with Lena & Tobi. The place was great, the location beautiful and Lena & Tobi were incredibly great and likeable hosts. The apartment was very tastefully decorated, well equipped and absolutely clean. In particular, however, the hospitality of Lena and Tobi and the matter-of-fact way in which they involved our son in the farm work made this stay unforgettable. We had a wonderful stay at the Steffelbauernhof and can highly recommend it. For our 1.5 year old daughter there were toys, baby chair, play opportunities and the very appreciated view of the cows. The surrounding area is great and allows for a very relaxing vacation.

I was only here one night, but I liked it so much that I will definitely come back here. You have many opportunities for recreational activities here, and the hostess is very, very warm. In any case, this place can be fully recommended!!! See you soon (then with family)
