Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Upper Peninsula of Michigan

We the great experience of being able to stay at both of Anjila's properties! The main things that stood out to us the most was how incredibly accommodating and friendly the hosts were and so responsive. I cannot say enough about them. And the spectacular view! WOW! To be clear, this is a unique set up with sharing the common areas outside and a wall with other guests but it works! We met the other family staying and they were super nice. Yes you do hear the other guests a little but to experience the views like these units offer and the friendliness of the hosts far make up for any possible "noise". It was never loud either. Both units have pluses. Both have great beds, space, incredible stock of spices (that was great as I always forgot those), and it seemed they had everything you could possibly want to have for a great outdoor experience! I truly hope we will be back. Thank you so much!!!

If you are looking for a peaceful, private location with beautiful views in the UP, look no further! We loved our stay - the house had everything we needed and was in an absolutely beautiful location. We will be back!

The house was exactly as described and Jerri is a warm, flexible hostess, responsive to needs and questions. The kitchen is well stocked and the house very comfortable, the beds cozy and the location perfect for chasing waterfalls, collecting Yooper Lites, finding great coffee and walking distance from lovely trails. Recommendations were spot on for our needs and interests and instructions clear, reasonable and easy to follow. We loved the firepit in the back yard to end days of hiking and kayaking. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough. The host, the space and the location all made for one of my favorite stays ever! (Don’t rush to book though, I need to book again first! 😂)

The house was perfect. Beds were insanely comfortable and the house was clean. Beautiful views, set right next to our favorite state park. Will be back for sure, several times!

A beautiful home with incredible sunlight and a stunning view of the lake. Everything is well-curated and very thought out in the home. Our only complaint was that on the first night we arrived, it was pretty hot and we wanted to cool down the home. There’s only one window A/C unit located in the living room and the person who was sleeping on the sofa bed would have been extremely cold if we used it to try and cool down the whole house. So, it put us in a bit of a bind with how to keep that person comfortable while also attempting to cool the whole home. Thankfully, it cooled down for the rest of our stay. If we had come during the height of summer though, i am not sure what we would have done.

I want to give this place 100 ⭐️ and at the same time selfishly give it 1 ⭐️ so I can book it whenever I want 😂 Seriously, this place is a real gem. It was super clean, quiet, so incredibly peaceful. The lake is so serene and inviting. The paddle boat was under repair but we took out the canoe a few times and we literally had the lake to ourselves, enjoying the sounds of the wind and birds and just nature. We and our fur babies had such a wonderful time - we will be back! Also, the WiFi was impressive connection for the area. It was like the best of all worlds…being off the grid while still on it ❤️

Ronda’s house was much more than expected, a little paradise. The house is beautifully decorated, oversees Teal lake with incredible sunsets, and is fully equipped. She goes above and beyond to make your stay smooth, by leaving those little things that you might need but did not think of packing for a short stay. We went for our son’s NMU graduation. Do sad I did not know this place before as I have been going to Marquette often the last four years. Would love to see it during fall, the views should be incredible with the colors. Will try to get back ;) and will recommend her house to anyone that wants to visit the UP.

We enjoyed being on the Main Street in Downtown Manistique, as we were able to walk to the farmers market while checking out the social district. In addition, in morning, we were able to take a nice 4 mile walk on the boardwalk and get a picture in front of the lighthouse.

Enjoyed our stay here! Sommer and Russell were great hosts during our time and helped us out when needed. Heads up for future guests, mattress is firm but comfortable—we had no complaints!!

Barbara’s apartment is homey and tastefully decorated, allowing you to feel right at home at check-in. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need, with bagels, cream cheese, and local eggs waiting for you in the fridge upon arrival. The home is located in the heart of the Sault, just a short walk or drive away from many restaurants and shops. Everything is clear in the instructions upon arrival and checkout, and extremely cleanly! I highly recommend staying at Barbara’s home!

Excellent location, walkable distance to any place in downtown Munising. There is a steep ladder at the entrance, but otherwise I had an uneventful stay.

A relaxing getaway! This apartment is right in the center of Munising, making it easy to walk to get coffee, dinner, or take a boat ride! The place was spotless and homey, and Erin did an amazing job giving us local recs as well as answering any questions we had. Overall a good place to stay for a relaxing nature vacay.

Great stay and clean. Main bed very comfortable. Convenient to Boyne City and Petoskey. Would recommend and stay again.

Perfect place to catch up on my sleep. I tried a local hotel the day before and was not able to sleep due to road noise. I was surprised at how quiet it was here since it is a shared house. The view from the window basically puts you in the lake. Arrival directions were clear and everything was just like the photos. I did miss not having a blow dryer after my shower. I would have stayed the day before if the reservation window was still open when I was searching for a place to stay. I appreciated the water and snacks available! I would recommend and I will probably stay again.

We loved this location and our stay! So close to great restaurants and breweries. Walkable distance to downtown TC and right above a delicious coffee shop! Can’t wait to come back next year!

Anna's apartment was absolutely beautiful. It was so clean. There are cute ice trays in the freezer which I very much enjoyed. The apartment is very bright and beautiful with it's tall ceilings. The apartment is next to a bar, but there is a noise machine and a TV in the bedroom to help with noise, that wasn't even that bad. I will definitely be recommending her place to anyone who plans on going to the Chequamegon Bay area.

Comfortable, clean second floor condo a short drive from Bayfield with wooded view from kitchen window. Working jacuzzi and adequate cooking supplies. Jon was quick to respond to questions.

Beautiful location, perfect getaway.

We had a lovely stay at this condo. It is located on a beautiful lake of which the living room has a gorgeous view. Access to kayaks and a fire pit were a very nice bonus! The property was clean and comfortable. Communication about our stay was great. Highly recommend!
