Enjoy peace and space in a stylishly converted garage in Bosch en Duin

Welcome to Bosch en Duin in our former garage/barn, which was converted into a very luxurious and stylish home on September 1, 2016. Ideal for 2 people, but also suitable for a family with 2 children or 4 friends. The home is fully insulated and heated by underfloor heating and wood burning stove. Through a window as large as the garage doors and on the other side windows up to the ridge and 3 large skylights, it is a delightful bright space with stunning views of garden and forest totaling 2800m. The Garage consists of one large room with a wooden unit in the middle. On one side of the unit there is a beautiful, complete kitchen with 4 burners/combi oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer integrated in a hard stone countertop. On the other side is a small but tasteful shower (thermostat tap), toilet and sink with automatic tap and illuminated anti-condensation mirror. The unit offers spacious cupboards and drawers and a staircase upstairs. The unit has a double bed of 1.60 x 2.00 m with a lovely sheep wool duvet of 2.00 x 2.00 m. For lodgers who are afraid of heights, there is a spacious and comfortable sofa in the sitting room that turns into a double bed of 1.40 x 2.00 m in one motion. Next to this spacious corner sofa there is another comfy chair to slide comfortably close to the stove. In the dining area there is a spacious wooden table with 4 chairs. The drawings and ceramics images by our son, outsider artist Hannes, give the space a very personal and cheerful appearance. The home has its own private, private and wonderfully sheltered terrace with comfortable garden chairs with pillows. In the forest there is a bench to enjoy nature in peace or to read a book. Finally, there is a hammock for a delicious afternoon nap. The house has WiFi, with which you can watch the available iPad TV via our Ziggo connection, also radio. So there is no flat screen TV. We have a dog of our own, but we don't want a dog in De Garage. Guests can use the entire house, but also the terrace, the forest and the driveway to park their car. We will be there when guests arrive and depart. We tell the guests about our house, the equipment and the area. The house is non-smoking. We do not provide breakfast or other meals. Combine nature and culture in "De Garage," on the estate Ter Wege in Bosch en Duin, surrounded by the woods of the Utrecht Heuvelrug and a short distance from Utrecht and Amersfoort with their many museums, restaurants and other entertainment options. Guests can use our bicycles. A bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away. Own transportation is of course always easier and faster. Guests can always reach us by phone for questions.

Guesthouse on private tennis court, near nature reserve.

We have a detached guesthouse in the back of our property, 50 meters behind our house and our private tennis court. There is excellent air conditioning available. The perfect location for visiting Utrecht and Amsterdam (10 and 40 minutes by train, and the station is within walking distance). Also ideal for cycling and hiking tours, as we are located by the “Utrechtse Heuvelrug” National Park. The rental is incl. max. 2 hours (per day) use of our tennis court. Bicycles can be safely stored here.

De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.

B&B on the Kromme Rijn in the "outside of Utrecht".

De Vlonder is a detached and sustainable accommodation (also a vacation home) on the Kromme Rijn in Cothen, located in the province of Utrecht. The accommodation is situated along the Kromme Rijn hiking trail and can accommodate up to 4 guests. It has two separate bedrooms, 1 and 2, with a private bathroom with a toilet. It has a common breakfast/kitchen area where you can spend time. Outside, you can relax in the lounge set on the deck by the Kromme Rijn.

In a detached building, originally a garage, a pleasant place has been created with its own kitchen and bathroom. There are two double beds that can also be separated. A sunny terrace is located at the rear. The immediate area is popular with hikers and cyclists; from the cottage you can go anywhere! Of course, the cottage is equipped with free WiFi and a smart television. The cottage has its own entrance on a demarcated piece of the plot.
