Beautiful condo and views. Had everything i needed for a week-long stay. Very quiet and peaceful place. The house has a great AC and the complex pool came un perfect for the hot days. Close enough to everything I needed to do and go. But very peaceful !!! Ronald was very helpful i would stay here again in the future .

Came back again because it was such a wonderful experience the first time. As best I can describe it, it is like staying at the place of a beloved aunt who isn’t home- all the advantages and comforts of a house that someone lives in, with all the cleanliness and comfort of a house that isn’t. A fully stocked kitchen and a home with all the pieces of life you may need. Exceptional. Will be back. (Loved the mattress so much I took a picture so I could have the info).

We absolutely love this property! It’s our second time staying at the Quail Adobe and we always look at this property to see if it’s available. We came for the UofA graduation and love how close it is to campus. Being able to go back and forth on this trip was a priority and it’s the perfect distance away. The hot tub at the end of the long day of graduation activities was perfect! As soon as you walk into this property it feels like home. The wine, chocolates and fresh fruit really shows how much the host wants you to feel at home. I would recommend the Quail Adobe to anyone coming to Tucson.

The Golden Moments in Oro Valley is a lovely Southwestern style home in a beautiful garden surrounding. It feels like home away from home. The neighborhood is quiet and the property feels tucked away in its own little world. It’s so pleasant to enjoy watching the birds and lizards and to relax in the hammock in the back. Kathaleen stocks the fridge with organic foods and coffees and beverages to enjoy. I love staying at Kathaleen’s place and would recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway!

We felt like home. We enjoyed being out by the pool and BBQ-ing after traveling for 2 days. We had everything we needed, the inside and outdoor space was so wonderful to just rest and enjoy nature but close enough to enjoy local activities in Tucson area.

Sally's place was lovely -private and peaceful. Would love to return one day. Sally was a great communicator too.

The pool area was the star of the show and felt very private since it was surrounded on all sides by tall fences blocking neighbors completely. There was plenty of seating, shade from an umbrella and covered patio. The sound of the waterfall and green trees made it very peaceful. There were plenty of pool floats including electric air pumps which made the water even more enjoyable. The home felt lived in containing all the creature comforts with well thought out extras like ceiling fans, night lights, toiletries, room darkening curtains. The temperature was very comfortable inside despite the high heat outdoors. The kitchen was very well stocked with high end cookware and dishes, a filtered water pitcher, automatic ice maker, spices and cooking oils. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to friends visiting Tucson.

Wow, George's place is great! EXTREMELY cozy and pet-friendly! We booked our next stay before we even left. -Clear directions/ instructions. -Easy check-in/ check-out. -Private courtyard was perfect for relaxing and for our dogs. Lots of smart details, including a hose to easily rinse off any spills or pup-pee. -Home was comfortable, spacious and had EVERYTHING we needed for cooking, relaxing, sleeping. -LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Right smack dab in the middle of Tubac with easy access to shops, restaurants, and a nice walk to the golf course. -Responsive, generous host. We can't wait for our next stay!

Shannon was an excellent host! Very communicative and the location made for a relaxing evening for me and my girlfriends while we were driving to southern Arizona!

This cozy unit was perfect for me and my kiddo on our spring break getaway. We loved the saltwater pool, the views, and the quiet neighborhood. My son especially loved watching the quail families! Teresa was very hospitable and even showed me the herbs she was growing around her house - something that I especially loved as a fellow gardener. We would definitely visit again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Darby's upper cabin. It is at the very end of a curvy road and so feels quite secluded, surrounded by lovely pine trees. There is a walking path a few hundred yards from the foot of the driveway. The porch (there are 2) by the entrance looks that way so all you see is forest and the occasional parked car for the trail. The cabin is cozy and rustic; somewhere you can relax and feel at home. The skylights over the bed allow you to see the stars before you sleep and provide lovely warmth in the daytime. The bed linens had a nice feel and there are masses of blankets and extra pillows. The kitchen is fully functional and stocked with all necessary kitchen implements. The couch is comfy. The windows can be opened to provide a lovely breeze throughout the entire cabin. Darby's instructions were perfectly clear. You can walk (downhill slightly) to the main street of Summerhaven and drive to the ski lift. We would definitely stay here again!

I loved Max’s place! Amazing quiet neighborhood especially with the university on summer vacation. The property was clean and very homey. Any issues I had Max was responsive, helpful, and made things right. I would stay in one of his properties again and absolutely recommend them for anyone looking for a clean, peaceful spot.

Lisa’s place was spacious and adorable. The backyard was large and a lovely space to relax and enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. Short walk to campus so really convenient for U of A visits, events, etc. Would highly recommend!

Christie’s place was just as advertised. Lovely and clean. There were only 2 of us this trip but there’s lots of room. The house has everything. Lotions, sunscreen, condiments galore. We want to stay here our next trip and have a larger group. A great stay.

We really loved our stay at the Casita! The setting is just beautiful, surrounded by mountains and cacti, and the property is peaceful and private. However, we were just a mile or two from the grocery store and great restaurants too! It was the perfect home base for all the hiking we did, and the Casita itself was spacious, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. Ken was incredibly kind and helpful, and he made us feel right at home. We were really sad to leave and can't recommend this place enough!

Absolutely Stunning and Immaculately Clean!! We loved that there was a washer and dryer in the unit. The pool was well kept and could be seen from the balcony. I am an accomplished cook, and we took full advantage of the well supplied kitchen. There was brand new cookware available which was still in the box and I was welcomed to use. The location was close to shopping and restaurants. The bathroom was large and clean with toiletries provided. All the rooms had ceiling fans which helped keep the unit cool in the Arizona heat, AC unit worked well on those extreme hot days. The only minor complaint was the couch, though beautiful and worked well with the decor, it was uncomfortable and the seat cushions would slide off, which was a minor inconvenience. This unit is perfect for 3 people max. Any more than that and it becomes crowded. It was perfect for us! Lastly...the VIEW was stunning!!! If I am welcomed back, I would stay again when I come visit my son. Thank You for having us!

Great find. Usually stay in hotel but all sold out due to U of A graduation weekend. Will stay here next time!

If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway in the Tucson area, I highly recommend you stay at Shelly’s place. The house is in an award-winning eco-development community called Civano about 15 miles southeast of downtown Tucson and only a ten minute drive from Saguaro National Park. The pictures capture it pretty well, but don’t really do justice to the beauty of the surroundings. Out back, beyond the family of Quail that are forever feasting on big seed blocks on the wall, you’ve got a direct panoramic view of Rincón Mountain and, to the east, of Mount Lemmon. In the yard, a fountain provides water for visiting birds, butterflies, and even a peaceful bobcat (yes, I saw it one morning! It walked right past me only about eight feet away, took a sip at the fountain, then jumped up and over the wall. Wow!) The hosts are good people—kind, thoughtful and attentive, but unobtrusive. I enjoyed my stay very much and am sure you will as well. Highly recommended.

Overall our stay was really great. We paid to have the pool heated and it was very warm; the kids loved it and swam every day. Lots of room for all of us (7) in the house. Location was easy to get to and backs onto a park where you can head out for a walk. There were lots of towels including pool towels. We had a bit of an issue when we first arrived but I phoned Shannon and she was able to change the door code remotely so we could get in. We would definitely stay at Shannon’s place again.

We absolutely fell in love with this peaceful and beautiful casita. The host is absolutely delightful, friendly and helpful. Her restaurant recommendations were excellent and she helped us to experience Tubac like a local. We especially loved the top quality king bed and the generous facing the gorgeous sunsets

This house felt like we were at our own private boutique hotel. The Asian decor combined with the adobe style construction and surrounding cacti felt like we were transported to a very special place. The house was spacious for our family of four, and the kitchen was well stocked. We spent one day just lounging at the house and wished we had more time to do more of that. We'd highly recommend staying here and hope to return again ourselves.
