Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Valentia Island

Martin and Bridgette were excellent hosts. 3 things we look for are cleanliness, comfort and quiet. We got these in abundance. The view from the house was stunning and seeing all the deer in the garden was very special. Good base for touring the penninsulas with great food in town. Beautiful town and lovely stay on the Ring of Kerry! The house was even nicer in person and Majella was so quick to let us in and gave us a helpful overview of the space when we arrived. She also even left us some snacks on the table! Super walkable to the little downtown area with restaurants and gorgeous sea views, plus the inn next door was a great spot for drinks. Everything was very clean and comfortable, wish we could have stayed longer!

We absolutely loved Catherine’s cottage. After staying in dozens of Airbnb’s over the years all over the world, this one stood out. We loved the peaceful location with beautiful views, animals, and walks. It was a great base for visiting the Ring of Kerry and the vicinity. I really appreciate the extra touches that make a place feel like home. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to make meals. We especially loved the sunroom and beautiful landscaping. We were sad to leave!

Lavinia’s house was wonderful. At the perfect half-way spot on the Ring of Kerry. We stepped out the front door and saw the most beautiful starry sky at night. So close to Darrynane Beach, our favorite beach in all of Ireland. We enjoyed the hike behind the house, with the most beautiful views. The house is clutter free with lots of space for our personal things, perfectly clean and has lots of farm house charm. Both bathrooms worked well, plenty of hot water. My kids loved playing fetch with Holly. Plenty of space in the well stocked kitchen for family meals. We highly recommend!

If you are looking for a more relaxing alternative to the typical Ring of Kerry package tour then consider booking this cottage. This cottage has a beautiful location, a helpful host and friendly dogs and cats. It’s an easy drive from Killarney and the gap of Dunloe, great walking trails abound, and the space is just perfect if you are looking for a relaxing cottage getaway. I definitely plan on rebooking here if I am ever again in southwest ireland.

Gretta and William we're great hosts with lots of recommendations for fantastic places to visit. The house is in a really good location for driving the Ring of Kerry, visiting the Dingle peninsula and of course the beach. We were extremely lucky to visit in beautiful weather. Just a couple of things to improve the house even more, a new TV which has the ability to view Netflix etc., maybe an information book with details including a guide on how to operate TV and other useful bits of info on the property and local area. 😁

We enjoyed our stay at Lisa's beautiful place. Lisa was a very responsive and helpful host. Fortunately, we had terrific weather until the last day. The views were stunning, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We made the most of the nearby attractions (hiking and beaches) and surely bolstered our immune systems jumping into the cold Atlantic! We would love to come back!

Rory was an excellent host. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome including some fresh scones, apples, bread, milk, butter and jam. This was very appreciated by us! The fireplace made the stay extra warm and cozy. We would recommend this AirBnB for anyone looking for a nice getaway!

Just spent 4 nights at Tessa's place, but could have spent lots more. Very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable, with all the facilities needed, including a washer and dryer. Not far into Kenmare, probably walkable for most people (maybe 20-30 minutes. ) The Beara peninsula is lovely, and Derreen Gardens is definitely worth a visit. Plenty of places to visit at no great distance (Kilarney, Sneem, Whitestrand Bay etc.)

We had a two night stay, but wished that we had booked a longer stay! Very comfortable - slept very well. Would be very pleased to stay again.

The property is close enough to enjoy everything Dingle has to offer but in a very peaceful location. The beds were so very comfortable and we were easily able to self cater. We loved seeing the chickens roaming around and thank you for the eggs Maunza!

We had a great time at Ken's place! It's very calm and peaceful. Ken made us feel at home right away. The location is very convenient, just a short drive away from wonderful beaches, spectacular cliff views and Dingle town. We also appreciated having a little kitchen to prepare breakfast or dinner. Would highly recommend staying with Ken! And don't forget to check out his beautiful artwork.

Great location - amazing sea views is the name of the second floor apartment in her home and it’s true. It was a beautiful location with which to explore Dingle peninsula. Little village just a block from her house with a pub, plus a 15 minute drive into Dingle. Hostess left us some eggs, butter and bread which was a lovely touch. Water pressure was pretty weak but otherwise the home was perfect.

Clean, cute, and cozy! This was an ideal spot for a great starting point into the Ring of Kerry. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

A “must” to stay at! Julie was the ultimate host! Any request was not an issue for her. The place was spotlessly clean, with easy to use amenities. It looked lovely and it felt lovely! We did not want for anything! It was an easy 30 minute stroll to the town centre too. Highly recommended!

Very cute, comfy place to stay! It's close enough to Dingle that it takes little time to get in town, but far enough to enjoy the peace of the countryside. Helen was very friendly and courteous, going so far as to take care of our drying laundry when it started to rain and we were away. Would definitely stay here again!

A cosy but spacious little nest surrounded by gorgeous scenery The location is absolutely fantastic as it is so close to the town center of Killarney, the entrance to the ring of Kerry and an hour away from Dingle, which was our next stop Mike and Sinead were the most amazing hosts as they provided us with lots of information and recommendations Highly recommend

We had a wonderful time staying here. It was safe, clean, and walkable. We loved being able to walk downstairs to the Fish Box restaurant and Dick Mack’s Pub. Those were our two favorite places in Dingle. The apartment was plenty big for two people and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer in the apartment! Overall, this apartment was worth the stay.

We loved our stay in this spacious and comfortable apartment right in the heart of Castlegregory. We appreciated the many practical touches, such as the well-thought-out kitchen, two couches, access to washer and dryer, front entrance with easy access to Tailor’s Row and back entrance with private parking. We liked Maura’s design aesthetics a lot (the clock, the electric kettle, the cool bedroom shades, etc). It was wonderfully and unexpectedly quiet after dark—no sounds at all from cars, planes, dogs, street conversations. We have no complaints at all!

Lovely and peaceful location

Staying with Carmel is OG Airbnb, where there is actually a local host not an off-site corporation who owns the property you’re staying in. Carmel was wonderful and so welcoming. I was traveling alone and I really appreciate when it feels like I could reach out to the host if I have trouble without being a bother. The place itself is spectacular. They also have an actually stocked kitchen with more than just salt and pepper, which is soooo grand because you don’t have to spend money on an entire bottle of oil or butter or jam for a couple of quick meals. I hope to go back one day!
