Our grandparents and great-grandparents lived in it... including grandmother Carla (nona Carla), after whom the villa was named. The fully furnished kitchen with all amenities and dining table area is located at the entrance, while the sleeping premises (one queen size bed and day-bed sofa for 2 and bathroom with a bathtub are on the upper level in an open-space attic. Casa Badiha is between Koper and Trieste, surrounder with trees and beautifull nature, with a great terrace, private grill and jacuzzi. Situated in the heart of Santa Barbara, it used to be the Central Point of the village. Called "Osteria Ex Maria", it was the local Tavern run by our Family for decades since the early '900s. It took almost a decade of extensive and elaborate restoration process to have it back to be enjoyed as a peaceful and enjoyable location.
