Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Vallemaggia District

We felt very comfortable in this vacation home. It is really thought of everything and very comfortable. Space in the sleeping area is limited. However, this did not bother us in the five days, despite the bad weather. We were very happy to stay on the upper floor in the living area. Very nice village. From there you can get everywhere by public transport.

Amazing place. So beautiful and feels like you’re in a movie down a little street. Could explore here for days.

Our stay here in Maggia wonderful! Everything you need is close to the house, (even a short hike to a gorgeous waterfall!) The house was really comfortable and easy to access. We recommend it and look forward to visiting again!

I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs, and this one is definitely the best. Giordano is a very kind and responsive host, and he kindly allowed us to stay an extra night beyond our original plan. We simply wanted to enjoy one more day in this peaceful and private place, surrounded by beautiful mountains and a stunning river right next to the property. We will come again for sure!

In a picturesque Rustico village this house is set in a dreamy location. Very peaceful, perfect for kids older than four (steep stairs in the Rustico). Like most Rustico’s, sound travels easily from room to room. Walking path right out the door. River for endless kid playing time just steps away. We loved it!

Small but nice. In addition, very nice surroundings, quiet and uncomplicated communication with Marco. Would come back.

Kathrin and Thomas were very flexible and accommodating at check-in. The house is very easy to find. The apartment corresponded exactly to the description. It is very clean and spacious. In addition, it has enough storage space to store the things you bring with you. We noticed the many small extras such as mobile phone charging cable, very well-equipped kitchen for self-catering, bathroom with everything you need, fresh herbs for self-service in the garden, salad as desired, etc. In hot weather, they also shaded the seating area. This service is simply great. Kathrin or Thomas were always available and gave great information. Thank you both for the great week. You are excellent and extremely likeable hosts. We look forward to another time.

Warm friendly hostess, good communication, great apartment in stylish house with beautiful garden to linger in. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Carmen's place. The room was great and had everything you needed - even tips for hiking and eating. If you have any questions, Carmen was quick and super helpful. And because that wasn't enough, there was also an idyllic pool and plenty of help and support for inquiries or special requests. We certainly won't be the last time we come here and thank Carmen for her great hospitality!

In one word, great! Everything is available, you really don't have to do any shopping for a cozy evening. Even our 2 children were thought of, toys, fruit and delicious chocolate, it was all there. We were very sorry that we arrived so late and could only enjoy it for such a short time. The surroundings are fantastic too. It is great fun to visit the waterfall and there is also a nice playground for the kids. Thank you Simona, we would love to come back!

We are fully satisfied with our stay in this beautiful area, in a very quiet village, with views of the typical Tichino church. And Esa's apartment is very well equipped, clean, with an exceptional view of the surrounding area, including at the time of meals! We'll come back to that, for sure. Agnes and JJacques

We had a wonderful time in Andrin's cozy casa. A small, quiet idyll in the midst of nature, surrounded by an ocean of forests – you can only hear the distant rushing of the river and the chirping of winged neighbors. A picturesque view awaited us from the small terrace. You can indulge for hours in the mystical atmosphere of the wild Onsernonetals, which reveals a new face depending on the time and weather. For the five-minute walk to the accommodation, sturdy shoes are recommended, as you will be walking a short distance along the old paved trade route that leads to Intragna. The house is beautifully furnished and offers everything you need (even a stereo and cool CDs). Overall, a very inspiring and relaxing holiday in a unique valley, away from everything (and yet well supplied thanks to the village shop and bakery) Thank you very much, Andrin. And sooner or later.

Modern and well-equipped apartment. We didn't lack anything. Very nice terrace. Easy check-in and meeting hosts.

Davide was an amazing host, super fast responsive and with a very professional attitude. He send us very clear instructions for the check-in and the check-in was very easy. His place was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The parking space also super convenient for our car and the bikes we carried in order to explore the surroundings. The accommodation is in a fantastically beautiful location – ideal for relaxing. Andrea and Raffi were very warm, wonderfully uncomplicated and helpful, we felt welcome from the first moment. Everything was very clean and lovingly furnished, you can tell that a lot of heart is put into it. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful stay! The condo is beautiful and the view was stunning! We loved sitting on the balcony each night. We also appreciated having a dryer. This space was very nice and accommodating. The location was very convenient to the train station, but it was further away than we realized from the coast. We wished it had been a touch closer to the main coastline. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

We had very relaxing days at Katrin's, who welcomed us very warmly. The apartment was very clean and the view of the lake was beautiful! You are surrounded by a beautiful green garden, where we were even allowed to use the fresh herbs. We also liked the option to rent the two SUPs to paddle on the lake. We will be happy to come back. 🥰

The communication even in advance was very friendly and the arrival was therefore easy and relaxed. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived. The apartment is great and we immediately felt very comfortable. Everything is well thought out and nothing is missing. I have rarely experienced this before. We would love to come back and I can recommend this place 100%.
