A preserved secret with a Palace & gardens, ancient abbey and famous Study and many 16th & 17th century properties lining the cobble streets used extensively in Outlander. There are fantastic walks on the door step along the front of the river or up into the woods and Devilla forest (passing the 16th grave yard) Culross is the start of the St Andrews Pilgrim Way.

We were a family of 8 (with 2 grandchildren). Everyone was comfortable and the loft is very nice. The location is amazing. Dunfermline is a great town with lots to do and this loft is very close to everything. It's just a 2 to 8 minute walk everywhere (from pubs, to restaurants, to shops, to site seeing attractions). Parking is excellent since there is a lot directly across the street so 3.8 (in coins) allows you to park for a day. For a bigger group, this loft is fantastic and gets our highest recommendation.

We loved the village and the flat as well, it was cozy, kind, well-equipped, stylish and warm. We could park nearby, so that was also fine. Special thanks for the gift basket, it was very thoughtful - we also left some sweets in there. We would love to come back one day in the near future!

We stayed for the month of May and Jenny’s place was so handy to bus stop just outside the yard and train station was a 20 minute walk. Linlithgow is a charming place and a great base for exploring Scotland. Thank you Jenny and Steve!
