Herrestad is like a green oasis in the middle of an agricultural area and close to Sweden's largest freshwater lake. Wildlife is abundant, both in terms of birdlife and deer. Often you can see both deer and elk in the garden. Now life out in nature has also been expanded with wild boars. In the spring, the beautiful apple trees bloom and the houses are surrounded by several different kinds of beautiful deciduous trees.

Take off the outerwear/shoes and follow the stairs down to the living room with a sleeping alcove that offers adjustable beds, sofa and armchair. The kitchen has coffee, tea, microwave, fridge, induction stove, hot air fryer and washing machine. Next to the kitchen there is a bathroom with a shower, wc and storage. House by the lake / House by Lake Vänern

House 40 meters from lake Vänern. Completely renovated during 2018. A small boat can be used by the guest. (not during november-april due to ice) Equipped with all modern things like AC, fiber internet, etc. There is one double bed in the main bedroom. In the guest room there is 2 beds. An inflatable bed could be used if you need more beds. There is also a small guest house with a room. You can relax, take a swim or walk in the forest. It’s as relaxing during summer as during winter.

Villa Näs - modern accommodation in a rural setting

Up in the garden overlooking Näs Manor and Nässjön is Villa Näs. A modern home in a rural and scenic environment. The house, which is secluded, has a large and lovely garden with sun all day. In the meadows around the house, grazing animals walk in the summer. A few steps away is Nässjön, which offers fantastic swimming. All our guests have access to barbecue, stand-up paddle boards and bicycles! In winter, you live 5 minutes' drive from the alpine center with a total of 7 slopes!

A warm welcome to the former Jonsereds Farm boutique, located minutes from Centrum. What was once a farm shop has today been fitted out as a classic, very cozy home for 1-6 people (up to 8-10 possible but then it gets quite crowded). Kitchen and bathroom are modern. Two lovely bedrooms/lofts on the second floor and a small bedroom on the ground floor, perfect for kids or those who can’t manage stairs. The garden is large, lush and has nice social areas for e.g. barbecuing.

Färjestads B&B is a Bed and Breakfast in Karlstad within walking distance of Löfbergs Arena and Färjestadstravet and approximately 3,5 km from the city centre. Free parking is avaliable in the street near to the B&B entrance. Charging for an electric car can be borrowed at cost price so you can wake up with a fully charged car.
