Beachfront holiday rental in Vänern

We (2adults with kids 8 and 5 years old) spent one week in this cozy cottage. We had such a great time full of peace joy and happiness. If you like to enjoy the Sweden nature on its best you need to stay at this beautiful place. The included canoe and outdoor kitchen were absolutely highlights. The lake is not that much good for a fishing trip cause it seems to be empty of fish. Unfortunately. But we saw a moose in the wild instead. The self check in was simple and all the other things you need to know how to use were unmistakeable declared. Thank you both for an unforgettable week

The peaceful lake views and morning birdsong made our stay truly unforgettable. We especially loved exploring the Tiveden national park — the trails were wild and beautiful. Christina was welcoming, responsive, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. This place is a perfect mix of comfort, nature, and quiet moments. We’re grateful for the memories and already hoping to return!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house! We felt very comfortable here, both in the house and in the beautiful surroundings. We were out on the lake by boat and were even able to catch fish, which was a real highlight. We also made nice excursions to the surrounding area and slept wonderfully every night. The fresh eggs from the chickens were great, and we really enjoyed spending time with the cats, dog Ronja, the chickens and of course your dear cows. We especially liked the loving little things in and around the house, and as a little extra we even found a geocache nearby. Thanks to the warm temperatures, we also dared to go swimming! Above all, we were able to fully recover and now feel wonderfully relaxed. We look forward to coming back. Warm regards, Julia

I came back after visiting back in January. Was in the area for my birthday and kept comparing every airbnb to this place so decided to book it again. It didn’t disappoint during summer season as well. The Nature Reserve is absolutely stunning any time of the year. Love this location!

Such a nice gem, bright and close to nature for enjoyable days all year round. Practical for us with a dog who could be out on the porch and swim in the lake. Ended our days with a visit to the Spinneriet in Lindome, simply a hit!

It's amazing what was housed in such a small house. We were just passing through, and what we needed for our stay was available. There was nothing missing. We were able to end the day with a short stroll by the nearby water. Great that you didn't hear anything from the proximity of the highway. Thank you, Paula

Thank you for a wonderful stay in amazing surroundings. We made stops at the cabin on our way skiing. Super beautiful in the cabin and with winter wonderland and ice on the lake. But we also really wanted to experience it in the summer 😊

The accommodation had a fantastic location, with very good technical equipment, we would spend our vacation there again at any time with great pleasure.

We have had an absolutely fantastic week in Per and Annika's lovely house. A big and elegant house in a very beautiful place. If you book, just enjoy yourself. The house and garden have many zones to play in, so you can both gather or find a hook for yourself. The icing on the cake is, of course, the pool, which was used throughout the day. The garden is undisturbed and it is not noticeable that there are neighbors. Recommend a visit both to Restaurant Pir in Kullavik and Blomstermåla in Särö. The convenience store has very good selection and is up late. We really recommend this house and the communication with Per has been completely smooth.

Staying in Alexander's house was a real experience. It was wonderful to enjoy the peace, the view, the swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and the boat trip to the island. Alexander gave us the good tip to watch the sunset, worth it! As the icing on the cake, we also saw the northern lights. The accommodation was spacious, cozy and very homely. In short, we would have liked to stay longer.

Very cozy cottage with a great location So nice by the cliffs and lovely with a sauna and hot tub. We didn't have good weather, but it was great that it was there! Everything was appreciated by both big and small! Comfortable beds, everything you needed was there Nice and good hosts We'll probably be back! And we strongly recommend this :)

We had 10 wonderful days, the house was as described, the area just beautiful. You could recover very well from everyday life. And Sarah is a great hostess who could give good and useful tips. THANK YOU for everything. I'd love to come back.

We had a great week in the very stylishly furnished house. The location with the view of the lake and the tranquility are unsurpassed. Patrick and Maria are very nice and helpful hosts. Kirsten

We stayed for 3 nights in the small house on the island and we had a wonderful, quiet and relaxing stay. The house is really well furnished, clean and offers a magnificent view of the lake. We were the only guests during this time and therefore had the island to ourselves. Anders has already instructed us superbly in advance and always answered questions very quickly. We had a rowing boat for the crossing. Although my partner rowed very well, the crossing after a trip to the campsite was very challenging due to strong winds. We therefore recommend renting the motor from Anders. He also offers this. We would have loved to stay longer, but we had to move on. We wish all guests the same relaxation that we were able to enjoy in Anders Haus and are happy to recommend the house and the Superhost! Fränzi & David from Switzerland

We had a delightful stay at Ida and Jonathan's guesthouse. The house is perfect for a family with 2 children, who get to sleep in the 'tree house' (upstairs, with lovely views out the windows into the trees). Everything about the property is well thought out, spotless, and new, with views and vistas in all directions. Fresh-cut flowers in vases and a welcome package in the house meant our hosts were standouts! Ida and Jonathan let us borrow their boat to explore the lake, and ensured we had life jackets for our kids. They have a beautiful garden and comfortable bedding, and they have considered what guests need to unwind!

Cozy house surrounded by nature, with such a peaceful lake view. We were able to canoe, swim from a floating barge on the lake, walk in the forest. Pâr and Peggy are adorable and give good directions for visits. Perfect if you want to take a nature break: )

Beauty of the place, a dream stuga in a peaceful and quiet place.. Very welcoming hosts and always available to provide any useful explanations. Impeccable cottage with magnificent lake views. In addition, there is the possibility of using a boat, a canoe as well as a sauna with a view of the lake. Our stay was relaxing and magical 🤩

Honorine and Gustav welcomed us very openly and warmly to their beautiful and idyllic estate, so that we immediately felt very comfortable and well informed. The accommodation corresponded exactly to the pictures (directly on the lake), was equipped with everything (and much more) and everything in the house worked perfectly. There was also the opportunity to row on the lake with the in-house boat. We had a wonderful time in Årnäs and can only recommend the accommodation.

We had 2 very nice days. Louise is a very nice host, despite our last-minute booking she responded quickly and we could find the route and everything in the house thanks to her clear description. The cabin is equipped with everything you need, with the new bathroom a 1-minute walk away, the cabin is complete. The view over the garden & lake, sauna and swimming jetty are fantastic, we will definitely miss them. We'd love to come back!
