Benedikte house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

Here you live in rural surroundings just by the sea and the beautiful Jærk coast We have been using the winter of 2021 to renovate the old cabin that has been here on the farm since 1936. Now we hope our guests will enjoy it here at Brekkekanten as much as we do. We have five bedrooms and a sofa bed that makes it possible for 10 people to stay here. Apartment at a small hobbyfarm in Vigrestad at Jæren. Beautifull beaches only a few km from our place. Within 1 hour by car you can reach the towns of Stavanger and Eigersund, or visit Månafossen and Kongeparken. It takes ca 1,5 hours by car to the parking at Preikestolen. The apartment is well-equipped and suitable for longer stays.

Welcome to our simple and peaceful accommodation, which is centrally located. When you come to us, you will stay overnight on the second floor of the house. Here you will sleep in separate rooms, there is a bathroom, kitchen and living room on the same floor. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the train station and down to us.
