Holiday rentals with lake access in Vernon Township

Shiying’s house was perfect for our family get together. Everyone felt comfortable, the view was outstanding, we sat on the side deck for hours. We had plenty of towels, linens, kitchen was stocked, beds were comfy and the dining table sat all of us which is very important to us. And plenty of parking which is not easy to find on the lake!

Had a fun wknd stay. Clean, stylish, easy and comfortable! Would recommend.

We had a great time at Luz’s place. She was very responsive and proactive. The place itself is perfect for a couple and the views/lake access are the biggest perk. Very close to many great restaurants (all within a 7 min drive) and not far from other great places if you don’t mind driving a bit further. It was the perfect place for a long weekend and we hope to be back soon!

It was great, enjoyed the days we stay my familiy had an amazing time. Enjoyed the lake and activities they have great service and easy to get in touch with the owners.

Steven was very responsive to any questions we had. The place was beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was well maintained. The kayaks were fun. The outdoor area was beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for regarding privacy. All amenities were as described.

Perfect place for a long weekend with our family. Plenty of space for the 5 of us and an absolutely beautiful location. Right on the water with access to multiple kayaks. Very peaceful setting with easy access to nearby towns like Monticello and White Lake.

Heather was very interactive with my stay and gives very clear instructions! The house is exactly as described and photoed! Fun activities to do at home and very clean! Plenty of space in the house with a great kitchen! Definitely would stay again and recommend to friends/family!

The view of the lake, and the large covered porch were fantastic! Even on a rainy day we all enjoyed hanging out. The place was clean and spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. As other reviewers have mentioned, the many steep stairs to access the house are definitely a consideration before renting. They would be a real challenge if you had mobility issues. You have to unload/load your car at street level and use the stairs. But a lovely house for a large group!

Jenny was an amazing host and her husband Wesley was the cherry on top. Incredibly helpful and hospitable. They even invited me to have thanksgiving dinner with them! So cozy, it feels like a home that’s lived in, not a hotel or a commercial space. It’s a warm and loving HOME.

The view of the lake was amazing. She was very quick to respond if there was anything needed. I loved the recommendations that she sent over. We overall had a wonderful experience!

What a wonderful stay! Bee was so responsive and hospitable, and shared so much local information to make the best of my family trip. Bee’s home was truly a home away from home. It was stocked with all the essentials and more, and very spacious for my family of 5. Very clean, and had no issues at all. There was a grill and fire pit available for our use as well. The lake and beach were all very accessible as well, and Bee had plenty of beach passes available for us to use. All in all an unforgettable experience, a short summer trip my family will never forget. We will definitely come back!

The location was absolutely stunning! The river in the backyard created a very relaxing atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, and the space was clean. At one point, it rained, and I enjoyed sitting on the patio.

We had a wonderful three-month stay here at the lake. The setting was beautiful and Elmir was a fantastic host. I especially liked watching the people enjoying the lake when it was frozen over, and the Buffleheads and other diving ducks after the ice was gone.

Pauline’s place is located very close to West Point, which is convenient for those who want to stay nearby. The place is affordable. Pauline is very friendly and is a good communicator. The space is fairly large and you have a private entrance on the lower level. We only stayed one night and there were no big issues. Parking is provided on the driveway. Only thing to mention is that room wasn’t the cleanest, could have used a good vacuum. Slight smell of cigarettes/cigars. Aside from this it was a very quiet stay, again no major issues. Pauline is nice!

Sandra's place is beyond lovely! As an Airbnb host myself I could not recommend this place enough. Beautiful, quiet, lovely outside property! Enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. The inside is very well appointed, cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip back to visit family. Thank you Sandra!!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Tony's lake house. The house, exterior patio area by the water, neighborhood, and overall landscape was exactly what we needed for a peaceful and relaxing few days. What a picturesque spot to watch a sunrise! My interactions with Tony were extremely pleasant and I'd love to come back sometime soon. Thank for making it a great experience!

The Chateau Renee was a great place to stay! From the scenic view from the back deck and hot tub, to the beautifully curated interior, our small group had an amazing time. We enjoyed some local restaurants in Greenwood Lake and over in Warwick, and were able to catch a broadway show in the city since we were only about an hour away. If you’re looking for a spot to stay anywhere in this area, you have found your Airbnb!

Thank you again for lending us your boat my first experience and I love it and Chris loved every moment for her bday she loves fishing . Great place to be with beautiful views of a private lake, gorgeous sunrises, cozy cottage and warm, electric fireplace a plus, full kitchen, near my family and friends, and my favorite places to hike and enjoy nature, easy access from route 84, very peaceful and tranquil and great hosts

Stay at FengQing's place was fantastic! Cozy cabin, beautiful farm and super friendly animals. I really enjoyed my "quiet time " in the beautiful chines pavilion on the pond . Property is very private and serene ,perfect for nature lovers. We can't wait to come back. Our host was quick to respond and very helpful

Barbara is a fantastic and welcoming host, and the cottage is really wonderful. The perfect spot for a winter weekend, I can't recommend Barbara's place highly enough!
