The Bumbles Cabin on the Lake

Our beautiful cosy cabin has been designed to enable our guests to enjoy our stunning lake and relaxing surroundings alongside our bistro restaurant next door. The cabin is the perfect fishing and relaxing location and we have a healthy stock of large catfish (silure) and carp for your enjoyment. The cabin is suited to fishermen and couples (supplement cost to fish - ask for details) A BBQ, firepit, and a pool (June-September) ensure that your stay will be idyllic in this picturesque setting.

This lovingly restored boathouse will allow you to switch off from the modern world, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.

Ideally located in the center of Périgord and all the sites that make it rich, our house, La Maison de Marc, is an outbuilding of one of the most beautiful estates in Périgord, La Chartreuse du Maine. As in the 18th century, everything here exudes peace, harmony and beauty. Located in the middle of nature, it is the perfect place to recharge and explore the beautiful Dordogne-Périgord region. We converted this former farmhouse into a luxury home.

Quiet location, surrounded by nature, close to all amenities (5 min from shopping malls). Numerous tourist activities in the vicinity: walks, museums, sports... The cottage is located on a plot of land comprising two houses (one of which I occupy) as shown in the last photo.

Comfortable eco-lodge 5 km from the A89 (exit 22) on the banks of the river. For vacations, sightseeing, work. A short break by the fire in a natural and romantic setting entirely dedicated to nature (included: sheets, bath towels, dish towels, soap, household products, breakfast on reservation). Old mill (wheelchair accessible) and private parking. If there is a place of excellence for calm and rejuvenation, it is undoubtedly with us.

Vue et emplacement exceptionnels, linge et ménage compris ! Le gîte est situé au bord de la Dordogne au cœur de la vallée des châteaux, à 200 mètres du village typique La Roque Gageac. Amoureux de plage, de randonnées et patrimoine, vous êtes au bon endroit ! Passage du Tour de France le samedi 11 juillet 2026 vers 13h juste devant la maison !!!!!
