In the countryside, it is, however, close to highways, hypermarkets, Lisbon, the beaches (Ericeira, Santa Cruz, Peniche and Nazaré) and tourist attractions to visit (Sintra, Mafra, Óbidos, Alcobaça, Batalha, Tomar, Fátima and Santarém).
