Fantastic apartment right in the heart of charming Vila Real. The place had everything we needed and was an important factor in our enjoyment of the city and our vacation. Highly recommended.

We had three beautiful days at the Quinta da Penada. A car is advisable to reach the steep mountain to the winery. But also to be able to do a few leisure activities. Of course, you can also linger by the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the valley. Every time it looks different. Of course, you should also taste and enjoy the in-house wine. It is also sold on site. We found it very well with the Quinta da Penada. Everything was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and pleasantly big for two people. There was even a fridge in the room. We can also recommend the restaurant at the village exit on the right in Vidago in the direction of the highway. Very friendly and good cuisine. A trip to Porto or the beach takes about 1.5 hours by car. So you can also stay a little longer at this beautiful place. Communication works well, Marco can always be reached via What app. We say thank you again!

I spent a glorious month at Maria Celeste’s home. It was simply the best place to reset, connect with nature & rest. I’ve never been to a more peaceful home. Freshly squeezed orange juice (from trees) every morning. Lemons for water. A natural spring to swim off hiking grime. Mountains to climb surrounding the entire home. Lizard & butterfly friends. And so so quiet. Maria Celeste picked me up & drove me to the location. Taxi services available to go to town when needed. I can not recommend staying at this home more. If you need some R’n’R, stay. You won’t regret it.

The appartment is gorgeous, very stylish, full of wooden details and interesting features - like closing off the kitchen from the living room, and the access to the bedrooms being invisible at first glance. The view is amazing, over the valley and the river, which is all the more surprising given how central this is located. Super close to the historical center. Recommend going to Pastelaria Gomes which kept a classic style.
