Clean, safe, easy check in, spacious. Kid friendly. Felt peaceful and secluded in the forest despite the fact that it's near the road, which was pretty cool. Washer and dryer access was a welcome touch. Kitchen is well stocked. Easy parking. Not too far from town, and the roads around the property are well maintained and easy to navigate. Overall a great stay. Thanks!

We throughly enjoyed our stay in the Barn Loft. Andrea and Steve are gracious hosts. Prior to our arrival, we received information to prepare for our stay. We received timely communication on the date of our arrival. The property is even better than the pictures display. We truly felt welcome and at home. The furnishings are cozy and the beds are so comfortable. Our family enjoyed meeting the hosts, exploring the property, and the opportunity to rest and to relax in such a beautiful scenic area. We appreciated the fact that our dog could accompany us on this trip. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We look forward to returning.

The Galleywinter farm offered an experience we will never forget. Overall, the accommodations were comfortable with the surrounding farm peaceful and serene.

We had a great stay at this beautiful property located in the countryside, but with easy access to Roanoke. Everything was well set up and the host was very responsive. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to enjoy the natural beauty of the area but still have easy access to the amenities of Roanoke.

This is just someone opening their home, it is someone who loves to host; and it shows! Not only was the view incredible but the place felt like a home. From the little details (the “I forgot it at home” box, plenty of pool and bathroom towels, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash, having freshly ground coffee/sugar/sweetener, having spices and any kitchen utensils you could need, and even a heart keychain on the door and my name on the chalkboard). The bed was so comfortable and the shower pressure was amazing. The pool was great (although the weather was a little too cold for us to enjoy it fully)! The ceiling upstairs on one side of the bed was a little low but it was fine and worth it for a king bed. Every uber driver we had didn’t mind waiting for us as he just looked at the view. Would definitely stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our weekend at "Idyllic Mountain Home - Dog Friendly/great views"! It was all of that and more! Charlotte provided detailed info on how to run the wood stove (early March can get chilly) and we were warm and cozy on both levels all weekend. Other info about the house was very detailed. Our two corgis loved wandering around the property, which is elevated and very private! We took a hike with them on Saturday off of Skyline Drive, which was only about a half hour away; lovely! Dinner Saturday night was a milestone birthday celebration at The Inn at Little Washington, and it was worth the splurge! There's a small area near the bedroom where we set up the dogs crates and they were very comfy while we were gone. I highly recommend Charlotte's home for a weekend getaway!!

This spot is incredible. We came here for a wedding and got to explore the area for the day and it was very nice. The hosts are very friendly and communicative. If you have an event nearby, or want to visit Shenandoah, or just want a quiet peaceful vacation, this is one of the best places to stay.

This was such a perfect, peaceful spot! We were in for the Jackson Scenic River Trail Marathon and couldn’t have stayed at a better place. The trail was a short drive away, so it was very convenient. The cabin had a relaxing patio, and we enjoyed the scenery outside under the roof while it rained. Gorgeous! Thanks for having us!

Our stay in Cape Charles was truly delightful. Hunter's house, nestled amidst picturesque farmland and just a short drive from the Bay, offered the perfect setting. The history behind the beautifully restored red barn added a unique charm to the experience. The home was thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and we’re already looking forward to returning!

Such a perfect place to stay. You are surrounded by trees and mountains and the sound of birds. Wyatt so helpful with directions, places to eat/drink/hike, and furnishing extra filtered water. We opened the windows and enjoyed nature. All Triple Crown hikes are so close. One of my favorite Airbnb’s.

What a fabulous place to stay. We rented all three places for our large family and everything was just perfect. From the spacious accommodations to the thoughtful details ensuring we had everything we needed! This location was very convenient to Lexington and the nearby attractions! The owners made sure it was spotless and the beds were so comfortable! The kitchen was well equipped and the washers and dryers were a wonderful bonus!! We enjoyed the fire-pit in the evenings with our wine! Thanks again for everything, we will definitely be back!!

Went with my friend and we found the place very comfortable. The kitchen is very nicely stocked! We brought food so that we could prepare most meals and the kitchen had more than we could ever need by way of kitchen gear! There was also a full stash of coffee, cream, honey and sugar! The location is great. We went to the White's Ferry Brewery that was just down the street and thoroughly enjoyed it! I would strongly recommend a visit. We also walked around the neighborhood to include down to the Potomac! Very nice! We took a day trip to Harper's Ferry (45-min drive) and of course to the little downtown area of Leesburg (7-min drive)! Rita was super responsive and brough us batteries quickly when requested for the remote and a container of eggs from the chickens! The beds are comfortable. I did sleep on the sleeper sofa and while it isn't a typical bed, it was fairly comfortable. Having the animals just below us was really sweet! Loved them all! Enjoyed our visit very much!

This place is pure bliss. I rented it for a girls weekend and we loved everything about this beautiful and unique space. We spent the evening enjoying the clear night sky at the fire pit, brunch in Middleburg and dinner in Marshall. Beautiful linens, bathrooms and comfortable beds. This place is SPECIAL. Thank you- we’ll be back.

We defaulted into this Airbnb after a different Airbnb cancelled our reservation. We stayed for one night with our young family. Lots to do for kids. Beds and linens were very clean and nice. I do question if the carpet was vacuumed because I didn’t see any vacuum lines on the longer carpet but the floors felt clean. Great one night stop for us. Great price! We would stay again!

Ann (Lois) was a thoughtful and gracious host. We had everything we needed and made good use of the grill, kitchen, and shower after days of climbing.

Awesome place. Our whole family enjoyed the stay. Plenty of room, lots of things to do. We especially enjoyed seeing all the deer on our rides around the neighborhood. The hosts were extremely helpful answering any of our questions. Having the two kitchens & the extra refrigerators was a great bonus so that we were able to keep our drinks cold without having to use coolers. We also enjoyed the fire pit, the pool table, the shuffleboard, table tennis & the rocking chairs on the porch with the view of the lake. We were able to dock our boat & fish from the pier. I would definitely recommend this vacation sitting to anyone.

We had a really lovely weekend stay at Michele’s apartment. The location was great for visiting Shenandoah national park and restaurants and shops in Front Royal. Super peaceful woodsy surroundings too. We appreciated our host’s many recommendations in the digital guide and in the apartment. Would gladly stay again.

What a great location! Very beautiful and serene, yet close to 81, markets, etc. There are no windows or natural light in the living space, so we just spent all our time sitting at the bar at the window - and what a view!! It changes all day long, as the sun shifts across the sky, and the horses are like jewels on the landscape. We sat outside late at night and enjoyed the stars and fireflies. The space was very clean and comfortable, John was available and welcoming, We're very glad to have stayed at his home.

Lovely carriage house on large and private property, very quiet and peaceful. Nikki's home is elegant and delightful. When we arrived it was set up for our arrival with the most romantic and dreamy lighting with music, my husband and I were both delighted!! The apartment style carriage is well decorated with tasteful art and antiques. Nikki and her family were the perfects hosts, ensuring everything we (and our pups) needed during our extended stay. 100% would recommend to anyone traveling in the area, you will be well looked after by Nikki.

We really enjoyed this retreat in Fries Va. The property was large and private. Lots of deer and wildlife. Nice access to New River. Close to Galax as well. Highly recommend this place. Joan is very responsive and nice. We look forward to visiting again.

We stayed only for 1 night and it was a very nice and clean place! We had 2 littles with us and the rooms were nice and big. Getting into the house was a breeze with the keypad entry. Aaron was very friendly and responsive when I had a question. Highly recommend staying here! 10/10

Linda’s place was the cutest, coziest, most put-together Airbnb we’ve stayed in. It felt right at home. Everything was clean and beautiful. You can tell she put a lot of thought and detail into the furniture, decor, and placement of items. Everything was organized and easy to access, not to mention the location was so beautiful. Linda was kind and responsive, going the extra mile to call me directly when I had a question about something to ensure everything was okay.

There is not a better located Airbnb in Middleburg. Perfect location to wineries and downtown. The house is bright and comfortable - a great spot for a getaway with friends or another couple. My only ding is the sulfur smell in the water. Bring some bottled water if that will bother you.
