What an amazing find! The location is beautiful and the house was perfect. A place you can truly relax because you don’t need to leave. Kate was a wonderful host. We were lucky to find a few open days this year and already booked for next year!

5-Star Stay Near the Lake in Williamsburg, VA! I stayed at this property for 5 days and had a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The home was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location near the lake was peaceful and scenic—perfect for morning coffee or evening walks. It was also conveniently close to attractions in Williamsburg while still offering a quiet escape from the crowds. The host was responsive, friendly, and made sure check-in and check-out were smooth. I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home that made it feel welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway near nature in Williamsburg!

House was fabulous! It looks even better than the pictures! Everything was spotless and the kitchen had everything we needed plus more. It was a girls weekend birthday celebration for 5 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. We loved that each one of us had our own bedroom/bathroom. The view is spectacular. Host very responsive to any questions we had. We hope to return next year!!

it was an amazing place to say the least. Very elegant and homey at the same time. lots to do without ever leaving the house, but not far from the beach so there was so much to do. Highly recommend these folks.

The house was fantastic for multiple families staying together. There was plenty of common space to be together, but the rooms were well situated to ensure that it was quiet at night. The finishes in the house were noticed - this house would be great for a girls weekend staying around the house or a group needing space while out and about. We wish we had another day to enjoy the house and all it had to offer. The property is well maintained and the pond near the house is a beautiful addition to the stay and the host was very quick and helpful when responding to questions.

I am local Alexandrian and used this AirBnB for my wedding weekend at the Torpedo Factory. I have no regrets choosing this place over joining one of our hotel blocks at either the Alexandrian or Hotel Indigo (which don’t have presidential suites). The home and furniture are beautiful and I can’t wait to see my wedding photos. It was great for a bridesmaid sleepover! There was plenty of space for 3 makeup artists to do their work all at once. The only random tip I would give is that the neighbors are definitely on the nosy side. They were staring at us from the middle of the street and even blocked our photographer crew for a moment when we tried to exit the house. 😂 I really appreciate Collin and Laurie giving us an extra hour for checkout since the groom and I had a late night visit to Taco Bell nearby and needed the extra sleep this morning. Laurie and Collin were excellent with communication

This place is beautiful and very well kept, we enjoyed our stay! All the amenities are great and easy to use.

Me and my family loved our stay. The pool and hot tub was great and lots of fun, we didn’t expect how deep it was. The mini golf course is a good time as well. There was so much to enjoy at the house we barely had time to go to the beach. And the host and owner were extremely friendly, and helpful.

We traveled from Wisconsin for a wedding. The venue was 5 minutes from here which was so nice. The house was big with space for all 6 of us, the outdoors had a beautiful space and we enjoyed fishing at the pond. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The bathrooms were really nice and updated. The location was close enough to other cities if we needed additional amenities. We had a wonderful time and if we find ourselves back in Virginia we will stay here again!

This house was the ultimate retreat! If you want a peaceful, secluded place to relax and recharge, this is the rental for you! Amazing views especially at sunrise and sunset. Wildlife abounds. Literally no urban noise at all, just quiet solitude. Don’t let the drive up to the property intimidate you, easily accessible as described with 2WD in the summer. Matt was an awesome host, very responsive! The house itself was spotless and included many welcoming touches. Pictures are completely accurate. Many nice extras included if you are bringing your small kids, including toys, pack and play and high chair. Convenient 15-20 min drive to Shenandoah National Park. We would definitely return to this property!

We can’t say enough about our stay at The Wooder House. The home was perfect for our group of six, giving us all our own space to retreat while also offering large spaces to enjoy meals and movies together. Our kids loved the collections of board games, vinyl records and Calvin & Hobbes books. Everything we needed was readily available and thoughtfully organized, and Amy was such an attentive and kind host for our entire stay. Our visit revolved around hiking in Shenandoah, so the home was a great base camp for our adventures. It’s about a 30 minute drive to the south entrance of the park, and 20 minutes to a variety of breweries, coffee shops and vineyards. We truly can’t wait to visit again.

The house looks exactly like the photos. It's a beautiful home and well kept, no issues at all with cleanliness. The location is beautiful as well. My favorite spots were the deck and hot tub! I would recommend to everyone! Davis was a great host giving us a lot’s things to do around the area. Will definitely come back.

Amazing AirBnB! Sandra and team go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. Everything was exactly as shown in pictures/as described and was clean and comfy. Their hospitality was above and beyond-they left us a breakfast casserole and changed towels mid-week. One of the best air BnBs we have stayed at!

This was our second stay at Peacefield and it was just as wonderful this time. We enjoyed the pool everyday. The house has a lot to do. The home is peaceful and relaxing just what you want for a girl's weekend getaway! Barbara is always responsive if you have a question.

Joanna has a wonderful house in a great location with plenty of outdoor activities in Stoney Creek and beyond in Nelson County. There are great restaurants, breweries, and vineyards nearby and she shares perfect recommendations. It's a terrific place for families with fun games including a well equipped game room in the garage. Our family of 5 had a great visit in the summer and we look forward to visiting again in other seasons!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was extremely clean and all the amenities were a blast to enjoy for the weekend. Big kitchen, comfy rooms, and an awesome back deck perfect for catching up with friends. Very responsive and helpful host with clear instructions. We hope to stay here again in the future! I needed a place that my family, from out of state, could stay while attending a graduation. The house was perfect! I told Bob what I wanted to do and he was encouraging and helpful. He made sure we had propane for grilling and answered all my questions. He was very prompt when I reached out to him. We had an amazing time. I would stay there again.

This place was perfect ! Everything you could possibly need was available to us . The hot tub and the fire pits were amazing. The view was incredible. There was so much to do very close to the house! Potato chip tasting , wineries , cave tour, and a really cool parade float museum! We also truly enjoyed the space , lots of room to relax and read a book, play ball outside , fish in the river… great place , highly recommend!

Of my many Airbnb stays, Laura’s comes up with the very best. Her home is lovely, inside and out, with a lot of fun activities to choose from. Located on a beautiful creek opening to wide water gave us a chance to explore in her kayaks and paddle board. Rainy weather meant indoor board games, reading etc on the beautiful protected porch. The kitchen had all sorts of amenities for cooking. Plenty of bedrooms for sleeping in the peaceful atmosphere. I can’t wait to return there!

My family and I were looking for a place away from the fast pace and noise of our day to day routine and this place did not disappoint. With the lovely river running right out front, a beautiful waterfall trail literally next door, the fun pool, and relaxing jacuzzi we never had a dull moment. The place was a great size where we can enjoy family time but also have our personal space to unwind. If you are thinking of booking, don’t think just do it because it was truly amazing!
