Fijn, ruim huis, verrassend privé. Het huis ligt een stukje van de weg in een klein wijkje met andere huizen. Locals, waaronder Adriana (die ons ontving), wonen in de andere huizen.

My family and I we had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa, surrounded by the magical atmosphere of the Umbria countryside. There is nothing we can complain about,everything was perfect,the swimming pool added a plus especially during the 2022 July’s heat wave! The pool was well maintained and daily cleaning service was provided by the owner’s handy man. We really hope to come back next year and make more unforgettable memories at the Hilltop Villa-Orvieto

The villa was peaceful and spacious. We felt very comfortable there for our month’s stay. It had wonderful views of Orvieto and the surrounding hills. Pia, Alessandro and Theresa were also great and very helpful.

Beautiful scenery and beautiful villa. Large pool. Ideal location for our neuro diverse grandson who loved it there and Nicoletta’s friendly dogs. You’ve got to go there to believe it

It is an absolutely stunning place to be. The house is beautiful, the view amazing and the pool area an absolut dream! :-) We had the best weekend with friends there and everyone loved it. Felt like straight out of a Mamma Mia movie sitting there under the trees having breakfast or dinner. 10/10

I cannot say enough about how perfect the property was for our family. Spacious, homey, the pool was amazing, and the ping pong table was a great addition for our kids! There were games, books, cards all available for our use. They connected us with a chef for a cooking class at the house that was incredible. They were quick to respond and help throughout our time. I am so grateful for our time there and would 100% recommend and return!

The house is absolutely fantastic, nestled in the middle of olive trees with onbustructed views of the countryside and nobody else at sight! The house is cozy, familiar and everything is there to make you feel at home! Each room is spacious, clean and comfortable to enjoy magnificent Umbria! Flaminia is really helpful and Sergio’s occasional presence is very helpful! We seriously enjoyed our time at the house being a party of 6 with 2 kids! The garden and the swimming pool were absolutely superb! The overall experience was absolutely marvelous!

Een prachtige plek. We werden bij aankomst rond 16 uur hartelijk ontvangen door Nicola en haar man Andrea. Doordat het namiddag was kregen we van hen een wijntje en voor dat we het wisten was het middernacht. Een aankomst zoals wij niet eerder meemaakten. Het huis is ruim, mooi, compleet en in perfecte staat. Sta je in de keuken je best te doen een Italiaanse maaltijd te bereiden, dan hoef je niet bang te zijn mis te grijpen: alles is voorhanden en van uitstekende kwaliteit. Het zwembad heeft bijna olympische afmetingen en wordt schitterend omzoomd door glooiende grasvelden die goed zijn onderhouden. De tuin heeft een zodanige omvang dat je iedere dag wel op een ander plekje kunt ontbijten. Dat zorgt ervoor dat je steeds kunt genieten van een ander indrukwekkend uitzicht. We kregen allerhande tips van Nicola, variërend van bezienswaardigheden tot de beste winkels in de buurt. Ons verblijf was er een om nooit te vergeten. Deze plek is een absolute aanrader!

la casa era molto bella l’unica cosa è che ovviamente andandoci d’inverno quei confort di cui potresti usufruire l’estate non li hai, ci sta… comunque sono stati davvero gentili non ci hanno dato un orario preciso per lasciare la casa ci sono venuti incontro. la casa è grandissima e c’è tanto spazio noi eravamo 15 persone e sembrava fossimo pochissime persone dentro casa per quanto è grande 😊 ci siamo trovati molto bene.

We absolutely loved staying at this villa, we had such amazing holidays with our family of 5. The surroundings are beautiful, the house is great and so comfortable. Alcide who cleaned the pool for us every morning was so friendly and helpful, and Gio (the host) was always available for any questions or recommendations. We will be surely coming back every year! Dream place!

I have stayed at numerous Airbnb locations in the US and Europe. This was, by far, my favorite. The location was perfect for exploring the medieval area of Umbria and all the little cities surrounding Amelia. In addition, it was a little over an hour car ride from the Rome airport and a little over 2 hours to Florence. We traveled to Orte to take the train to Roma and Florence. It was easy to acquire tickets with the app Trainline. I cannot say enough good things about the Villa. We learned much about it's history from the owners Daniela and Aldo. The villa was built around 1863 and was totally refurbished to it's current condition. Aldo gave us a tour of their private winery and loved to share it's history. He even offered wine samples. All I can say is that they are the cutest couple ever! The property was well manicured and decorated with blooming flowers. The pool was clean and we enjoyed time in the "recreation" building playing ping pong and foosball. I would go back again!!!

La casa di Cristina è assolutamente imperdibile per le grandi riunioni. Dispone di due ampie sale da pranzo, una interna e una esterna accanto alla griglia. La cucina è dotata di lavastoviglie e di tutto il necessario per preparare e consumare i pasti in famiglia. Non è necessario portare plastica, a meno che non si voglia semplicemente buttare la roba nella spazzatura. La piscina è di buone dimensioni e ha una zona poco profonda per i bambini piccoli o per chi non è ancora pronto ad immergersi completamente. Il gruppo è stato complessivamente molto soddisfatto del soggiorno.

We had an excellent stay! The communication was awesome and checking in was a breeze. The home was amazing with amazing view. The kitchen had everything we needed and we felt super relaxed. A great place to stay!! We were a family of 11 from ages 1-73 and everyone loved it 💕

Our weeklong stay at La Commenda was truly amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful home with its separate suites for our group. We were traveling with our three adult children - two of whom are married (and one of those has 2 young children). The pool and outdoor area made us feel like we had our own private spa to enjoy - But the real treat was having Luigina with us in the home making incredible authentic Italian meals. We all got teary saying our goodbyes. Luigina is a beautiful person inside & out who creates such a beautiful atmosphere around her meals. If you choose to stay here; you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to include Luigina in your plans! Nathalie and Filippo were more than mere hosts - they were quick with helpful tips and links and recommendations of what to do (and eat!) in this gorgeous part of Italy.

Vi har haft en dejlig påskeferie i Villa White som levede op til alle forventninger. En meget smuk have og masser af plads i huset. Vi var 8 mennesker. Fantastisk udsigt over området fra altanen. Vejret var for koldt til fuldt at nyde poolen, men indretning med området omkring poolen var super hyggelig. Soveværelserne var fine, vi kunne have ønsket os mere sofaplads i stuen og lidt flere fade og service i køkkenet. Dario og Emanuella var virkelig søde og hjælpsomme. Landskabet i området er meget smukt. Der er mulighed for masser af udflugter i nærområdet med bil, og nemt også at komme til Rom. Vi kan varmt anbefale at holde ferie her.

We weren’t disappointed when we approached S’farina down the long private cedar lined drive . Beautiful stone house over looking rolling countryside and picturesque local hill top village . Lovely terrace and gardens with fabulous infinity pool and pool house with shower:toilet and sauna ( we didn’t use as 37 degrees outside ! We were meet by Veronica who helpfully showed us to the location , she was helped with other few enquires . Well tended pool and gardens by friendly pool man . Inside fantastic characterful rooms and bedrooms all huge with high ceilings and beams . All rooms en-suite and with A/C which was so welcome ! Lots of seating areas outside for quiet reading but also lovely terrace at the back where we ate all our meals . Racquets and bats for a bit of fun in the cooler moments , only disappointment was the bikes weren’t in working order . Orvieto , cascade de la Marmore , Viterbo , Todi, Lake Bolsena all fab . We loved S’farina and would highly recommend it x

This villa was just perfect for us for a delightful late August week. The view from the pool never grew old, just breathtaking rolling Umbrian countryside. A lovely quiet location, with loads of great Agritourism eateries nearby, and the delightful town of Narni a short drive away. The local host was great at ensuring our stay was perfect, giving us some great local recommendations. Plenty of space, effective air conditioning and comfortable beds - always important for us.

We spent 10 wonderful days at Luigi e Lucia's home. They were very warm hosts and I particularly appreciated their help when our car tyre needed to be repaired! The house is in a beautiful and quiet location. The pool is very well done and lovely to use on a hot day. We enjoyed meeting all the cats and three kittens. Thanks so much for a great stay.

We had an amazing time at this house! It’s super comfortable and in a really quiet and peaceful area – perfect for relaxing. The place had everything we needed, and the whole vibe was just great. Would definitely recommend it if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

Wir haben 12 Tage hier verbracht und Daniela und ihr Mann waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben sich immer erkundigt, ob für uns alles passt. Die Wohnung war auch toll, viel Platz und ein großer Pool. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ons verblijf in de villa van Loredana was fantastisch. Bij aankomst werden we verrast met een royale welkomsmand, met lekkernijen en heerlijke wijnen. De moeder van Loredana was er om ons op een heel hartelijke manier te ontvangen, ze is echt een schat. Het huis is heel erg ruim en mooi ingericht, met een prachtige keuken die compleet is uitgerust. Naast diverse mooie zitgedeelten in het huis, heb je de beschikking over drie grote slaapkamers en 2 nette badkamers. De tuin is hartstikke mooi en goed onderhouden door haar vader. Ook in de tuin heb je verschillende zithoeken waar je heerlijk kunt relaxen. Het zwembad is heerlijk, alles is erg schoon. Je komt hier goed tot rust in de prachtige omgeving.
